Baby Serry Hello Minna!!!!! well how was your Xmas? Mine was great, I got lots of presents and had so much fun!!! Well I realize that this Christmas special is 2 days late but I couldn't find time to write other then now so I hope you don't mind. In this story Tuxedo Mask already knows Serena's identity although she does not know who TM is. I made it this way cause I thought it would make an excellent story line for a Christmas story. Just a note that when I get to the scene where Sailor moon and Tuxedo Mask are at the battle scene I suggest playing Moon Revenge (if you have it.....although if you don't have it you can get it at this address http://members. xoom.com/michelle_san/) it just gives it a better effect to the story. I've been waiting to write this one for a while (October to be exact) and now I'm very happy to present to you. Without your light to guide me By: BabySerry, featuring special guest image guy Serry's Nightmare...whose poetry bestills the mind and takes the soul to fascinating new places. (BS: Bestills is not a word...some poet!!!!) (SN: It is my word! The best poets make their own words you flikanabel!) She sat by her window sill, staring blankly at the snow flakes falling like a shower of sparks from the blue velvet sky. She watched the icicles shimmer as they brushed softly along their smooth figure. Sighing deeply her eyes met the eyes of the moon, the symbol of lovers and the bane of the lonely, its white cold light, emerging slightly from the curtain of clouds and lining her face like delicate silver webs. She closed her eyes and smiled slightly. Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except for a young girl, alone in her room; wishing for love. She sighed again and slowly got down from her window sill. Her small feet padded gently along the carpeted floor as she glided towards her bed. Moving the covers, she slid into her warm bed and closed her eyes, before she fell asleep a small tear trickled down her face. He stood on his balcony, feeling the small, cold sting of snow flakes falling on his face as he stared out at the city. He loved to watch the city at night, like a puddle of light staining the velvet darkness. He often felt like a phantom, a part of the shadows, stitched into them and wandering the streets in search of his love. Her smiling face appeared in his mind, her eyes shimmering with wonder as they always did when she laughed. But she didn't notice him, all she knew of him was a cruel, cold hearted monster. Maybe it was true, but he loved her...from the first moment he saw her he loved her. He remembered when he realized who she really was; it was the end of a battle, and she was hurt pretty badly. He had watched her stumble towards a fountain, blood pouring slowly out of her hip. He knew he should go help her when suddenly, she held up her hands slowly and yelled "Moon Prism Power Restore." He saw the face before him with unbelieving eyes and he knew he found his one true love, for before then he was torn between two women, but this revelation made him see that they were the same person. That had been like a beacon shining into his heart, banishing his pain of having to choose like a flashlight banishes monsters beneath a boy's bed. He sighed heavily and walked back in. He sat in his couch with his face in his hands. ?What if she only can love one man, my alter ego.' He thought ?how can I compete with myself.' He curled up on his couch holding something small within his hands and right before he fell asleep a single tear ran down his face leaving a shimmering scar in its soft flesh. A loud beeping noise awoke her from her dream. Reaching over to her night stand, she picked up the culprit that had stole her away from her dream world. She pressed a small button on the calculator and a small, ruffled face appear on the screen in the corner. She closed her eyes, she needed to adjust her vision as the small face began to speak in a worried, frantic voice. "Serena......come quickly......we can't hold out much longer......please." And the voice disappeared as well as the face in the screen. "Lita.....what's happening.....dammit all!" Serena screamed, pulling her self out of bed and shaking off the mists of sleep she whispered as quietly as possible. "Moon prism power." A burst of light filled the room, as pink ribbons of energy wrapped around her small body. When the light faded Sailor Moon opened her window and quietly jumped out into the cold, dark night. He awoke from a dream with a start, and then he felt it; the well known pain in the back of his head. His sleep filled mind took a moment to register exactly what was happening but his instincts knew that she had transformed and must be in danger. Closing his eyes he concentrated his energy and a midnight blue flowed from every pore of his body. When the light faded Tuxedo Mask, still holding something in his hands, jumped off his balcony towards his destiny. She ran as fast as she could through the cold, icy streets of Tokyo. Panting and sweating, she heard screams coming from up ahead and knew that her friends were in danger. When she arrived she found three young scouts lying on the ground moaning in pain and helplessness. He leaped on the house tops with the grace of a tiger, lithely moving through the sleeping city. He knew she was in danger. The bleak winds blew through his hair and he shivered slightly from the cold; up a head he heard her scream and picked up the pace. She fell hard on the ground, whimpering in pain. She picked herself off the ground and the salty, bitter taste of blood trickled down her throat. "Why isn't he here?" She said quietly to herself, slowly getting back into her fighting stance. The ugly, green, fish like creature snarled at her in a mocking sympathy and started his ravage of her once more. He stood there, watching from the roof tops while Sailor moon fought the creature with little success. Jumping down quietly he chose a strategic spot in the shadows to strike and protect his one true love. The creature loomed over Sailor Moon's barely conscious, broken body. "Where's your lover boy now Sailor Moon?" The creature smiled wickedly, "I guess he doesn't really care for you after all; I bet you feel that you'd be better off dead, but fear not Sailor brat you will be soon." He gazed at them in fear as he heard every cruel, heartbreaking word that the creature had said. ?Patience' his logical mind whispered, ?wait for the right moment, one false move and you'll kill them both.' He bent down and created a rose in his hand and waited with great impatience. She could barely move, pain and fear running rampant through her body as she felt the creatures dark presences, hot as the angels of hell, and reeking of burning flesh and corruption. She closed her eyes gently and awaited the darkness of death to over come her, when she suddenly heard a scream coming from above her. He cast a rose into the air and closed his eyes waiting. The creature's scream indicated that he had hit his mark. Tossing his cape behind him with a flourish, he emerged from the shadows and ran to her side. He cradled her head in his hands and screams out her name in heart torn anguish. The creature got back to his feet and stared at them in blind furry and without warning, charged at them, plowing through the snow as his blood curdling shrieks pierced the night sky. He stood up in his battle ready stance, laying the unconscious Sailor Moon softly on a snow bank where she looked as pure and white as a winter goddess. He rushed at the creature, anger evident on his pale features. The creature shot blood read fire balls at him, knocking him against a tree. He tried to get up, but pain shot through his limbs and he could not move. He closed his eyes waiting for the calm warmth of death when he felt a presence of a new power lowing strong through his pores. It was as though time had stopped, the monster seemed nothing more then a phantom as Prince Endymion emerged from some hidden space in his soul. Clenching his sword, his plunged it into the belly of the creature; hot, green blood splattered over his hands. The creature let out one final bellow and perished into a cloud of red steam. A midnight blue aura appeared around him as he slowly transformed back into Tuxedo Mask. The ancient warrior, Endymion, faded as though he has never existed. He looks over at the sleeping goddess and places a small box beside her, kisses her softly and stole to the seclusion of a broad oak. Her eyes fluttered open as the snow fell from the cold night sky. The pain still filled her, but it had subsided somewhat from the unbearable level. She stirred upon her icy altar, her stiff limbs barely cooperating. With a grunt of effort she pushed herself into a seating position. Dawn had started to emerge in the greying sky. "Wh...where...am I dead?" she asked herself, taking inventory of her senses. "Nope I'm in Tokyo" she resolved with a chuckle. Sailor Moon stood up and begin wandering towards the sidewalk running a hand through her snow filled, messed up hair. Suddenly an object fell out of her dress into the snow. She bent to pick it up. Dusting off the small, midnight blue, velvet box she inspected it closely. "What is this?" she asked herself opening the case. Her breath caught on her tears, she fingered the small silver crescent moon pendant tenderly. A hint of a memory, like a dream passed through her mind...she had seen this before, it was special. She touched a paper square placed strategically behind the lid. It was a note. Sailor Moon tucked the box and the note in the pocket of her skirts and rushed home. He followed her closely, afraid to approach her. Sailor Moon stood in her bedroom staring contemplatively out the window. Holding up her hands she whispered "Moon Prism Power Restore" and felt the Strength of Sailor Moon drain away from her body, she was Serena again. Opening the box she put the necklace on and opened the note. "My dearest love >From the beginning of time I have been waiting for you. You are my soulmate. Without your light to guide me I am without hope, only half of a soul. Never doubt the unwavering strength of my love. Always and forever Tuxedo Mask. He stood on the windowsill watching her face transform from sadness to radiating love. She turned her head to the window and her eyes lighted on his face. She muttered softly "You know who I am...." He nodded silently, his eyes never leaving her own and stepped through the window. "I do, and you know who I am...but you have forgotten." "I don't understand.." her voice trailed off A rose materialized in his hand and he laid it in her lap, then getting down on one knee, he took her hand in his own and suddenly a vibrating hum emanated from him to her. Blue light seeped through his silk clothes and they began to fade like a painting under water. She gasped, pulling back from him and her hands flew to her cheeks. "Darien?..." her voice left her. She grabbed his hand again and fell into his arms, both of them now kneeling on her round bunny rug. She ran a hand along his smooth face, feeling its grooves and indents like a blind woman trying to know through touch. He gazed at her with a longing that seemed to penetrate into many lifetimes. A connection that transcended the scope of their short lives. "Is this a dream?" She whispered, her lips drawn to his own, and beginning to tremble. Like a magnet suddenly their lips were joined. He drew back his face, licking the remnants of her sweet lip gloss. "This is not a dream Serena...for you could never be as beautiful in a dream as you are here, and if this is may we never awake. I want to hold you forever." "I love you" she said in rapture, he wrapped his arms around her again, whispering in a velvet tone, "I love you too" before kissing her again. Well thats it!
