Hello all, I'm back with another exciting chapter. I apologize for the fast pace of my story. This story is supposed to take place before my first story I'm writing, Secrets of the Earth, which is still in progress. I know I should have written this story before I started Secrets of the Earth, but it just came to me. I know... I'm probably confusing a lot of people. That is why I wanted to apologize. On a good note, I only received one flame. I, however, received tons of complements on my story. I think all of you who are e-mailing me. All of your complements and flames inspire me to try my very best. I want to especially thank Simone. She has given me tons of constructive criticism and even more ideas. Thanks to all again!!! Disclaimer: Sailor Moon does not belong to me. David, however, does. Please don't sue me for I cannot afford to hire a lawyer much less pay for court costs or the amount of money that someone would sue me for. Thanks Enough with my babbling on. Now presenting? Why Serena Dumped Darien chapter 3 by Empress Earth (me) rated PG. @~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~ Wow, I thought as I looked into his mesmerizing emerald eyes. His eyes were as beautiful, if not more, as Darien's eyes. Looking into his intense eyes, I felt as if I've known him before; perhaps I've known him a very long time ago, but I couldn't quite remember from where. "Earth to Serena," Molly said as she waved her hand in front of my face to wake me up from my thoughts. "David, here, asked you a question. "Hmm?David, I think she is too busy staring at you to answer." "Oh," I blushed as I realized that I was too busy gazing at his beautiful eyes to hear him. "I'm sorry, what did you say?" "I was wondering if a beautiful girl such as yourself has a boyfriend? If you do, what's the lucky guy's name? Maybe I know him from somewhere," David said running his fingers through his curly hair. My spirits became dampened again as I thought of Darien. My eyes involuntarily began to tear up, but I wasn't going to let my tears spill in front of David. I didn't want him to know how depressed I was. "Well, there is someone, but I'm not sure if there is even a relationship between us anymore. Darien moved to the states to go to a highly prestigious college. Ever since he got there, he hasn't written to me. As far as I know, he could be with another girl right now." I sighed sadly feeling tears well in my eyes again. "That's a shame," the guy remarked sympathetically. "This Darien fellow does not know how to treat a beautiful lady at all. If I were he, I'd write to you as much as possible. I wouldn't let a pretty girl like you slip out of my reach like that." "Darien is a jerk," Molly stated boldly. "He never really appreciated Serena one bit. Serena chased him around when it should have been the other way. She sacrificed a great deal for him and this is how he repays her." You have no idea how much I gave up for him Molly, I thought. With another threat of tears, I tried to change the subject. "Molly, why don't you tell David about Melvin? I'm sure he would want to know about your boyfriend." Molly eyes lit up and began to sparkle. "Melvin is the greatest boyfriend a girl could ever have. He is sweet, considerate, and cute. He knows how to treat me right. He'd do anything for me." "This Melvin sounds like a good guy," David said smiling. "You must really love him." "Of course I do, and I would have it no other way," Molly responded. "I wish I could find a guy like that for Serena. She is too stubborn to listen to me. I don't think she'd know how a man is supposed to treat a woman if it bit her on the ass." All I could do was blush. I haven't even decided what I was going to do about Darien, and Molly was making me sound as if I was available. She was a great friend and looked out for me. I guess she thinks that she knows best, but I wish she would let me live how I want to. Before I could let her embarrass me more than I was now, I decided to leave. "Molly, I'm going to be late for a study party with my friends. You're welcomed to come if you want," I got up and began to grab my belongings. "Study party? That party doesn't sound to fun to me. No thanks, I think I'm going to meet my mom at the jewelry shop," Molly said as she handed me my purse. "It was nice to meet you David," I said as I extended my hand to shake his. Instead of shaking my hand, he raised it to his lips and placed a light kiss on it. "Believe me when I say that the pleasure was all mine." I blushed furiously as I pulled my hand from his grasp a little too hastily. I straightened composer then head out. My next destination was to the Cherry Hill Temple. I wasn't lying when I said I was going to be late for a study party. @~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~ Well how was it?
