A big hello and greetings to one and all. Welcome to another chapter of the on going saga of Serena and Darien's big break-up. Thank you for coming and reading. It's a real honor. Thank you to all the people who e-mailed me. You like me, you really like me. All this time, I thought I was going to get a lot of heat for my story. I know there is a bunch of Serena and Darien lovers out there, but even they are giving me some good feed back. Thank you . I would like to dedicate my story to my great and wonderful boyfriend, Austin. He's coming home from boot camp (he's a marine man) this week. I love you, Austin! Disclaimers: Unfortunately, I don't own Sailor Moon. Whaaaaa, I'm just not that talented to invent characters like that . I do own (tee-hee-hee) the handsome David. Please don't sue me. I don't have any money , I'm just borrowing . Now presenting (finally): Why Serena Dumped Darien chapter 5 by Empress Earth (hey, that's me). Rated PG @~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~ My night was sleeplessly spent. Look on the bright side, I told myself, you got to school early. Ms. H is going to flip when she sees me. I chuckle lightly. I took out my paper and pencil. Look out world, I said to myself, here comes the new and improved Serena. "Serena what's so?Oh my," Molly gasped. I guess she spotted the dark rings under my eyes. My hair didn't look to good, either. I look as if I was a zombie. Maybe it was that, or she spotted that I had my paper and pencil out ready to take notes. "Serena, are you feeling well?" She put the back of her hand to my forehead to see if my temperature was normal. "I'm fine," I fibbed and smiled one of my fake smiles. "I just had a hard time sleeping last night. I had a lot of things on my mind." "Serena, you don't look fine, you look horrible!" Molly exclaimed. "Well thank you, Molly, you really fix that dent in my self- esteem," I remarked. I ran a brush into my disheveled hair and straightened it up a bit. I looked in my compact mirror. It was an improvement, but the rings under my eyes made me look horrible. "Is that Darien thing still bothering you?" Molly asked sympathetically as she straighten the green bow that sat on top of her chestnut colored hair. "More than anyone would know," I answered without hesitation. "I guess so. You're even early to class today," Molly stated. "You're getting a glimpse of the new Serena," I stated flatly. "From now on, I'm going to actually try in school." "Look, Serena, you don't have to change because of some boy. I like you the way you were," Molly said grasping my hand. Her green eyes looked worried. "I'm doing it for myself, Molly, and no one else," I said matter- of-factly. "Class quite down! Especially you, Serena, I can hear you over everyone. Serena?!" Ms. H almost fainted. "Oh my God, you're actually here on time! Hell is actually going to freeze over!" "I knew this was going to happen," I said laughing out loud. Molly joined in as well as the rest of the class. "That is quite enough!" Ms. H said with authority. "You all need to set an example for the new student who has just transferred here from America. Come on in, David Chiba." A tall boy with brown, curly hair and emerald, green eyes stepped in front of the class. He shyly looked down at his feet. I guess being put on the spot does that to you. He was just as handsome as the first day that I saw him. His eyes met up with mine and a beautiful smile reached his lips. He silently mouthed a 'hi' to me. Ms. H broke the uncomfortable silence. "Why don't you tell us a little about yourself, David. She nudged him in the ribs with her elbow. David began to blush lightly making him look all the more beautiful. "Well? as you all know," David began, "my name is David Chiba and I lived in America; California to be exact. I moved here with my parents because my father received another bigger better job offer. "I love school and to study. I also love to look at beautiful girls like little Serena over there." I felt heat fill my cheeks as I listen to his wonderfully hypnotizing, smokey voice. Wow, even when I look this horrible, he still thought I looked beautiful, I thought to myself. I turned cherry red, as all the girls in my class were awe-ing at his remarks. "Earth to Serena," Molly whispered in my ear. "You were so into him that you didn't hear his last name. Does the name Chiba ring a bell?" I gasped. Oh my, he's a Chiba. No, that couldn't be right. Darien is the only known living Chiba. He said so himself. He has no living relatives. My eyes were wide with horror. "No, this can't be!" I exclaimed. "If there is one more word out of you and Molly," Ms. H said pointing at me, "you will both stay after for detention!" I sank lower in my chair. So much for the new Serena, I thought to myself. As if matters couldn't get any worse, David decided to take a seat next to me. Oh, why me???? @~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~>~~>@~~ Well, what do you think so far?
