Hello boys and girls, I'm Empress Earth. This is my very first attempt (and not very good) to write a fanfic. I love to write, and I love Sailor Moon, so I figured why not put my loves together. I hope y'all like it. Disclaimers: I do not own Sailor Moon and never will. I just like to write about it so please don't sue me. I don't have very much money anyway; p Now may I present to you: Secrets of the Earth rated PG-13 Screams?so many?pain?agony?despair? The echoing of the desolate cave was too much for a person to bare. The painful screams of agony echoed painfully throughout your ears. No, it wasn't that the sounds were loud. The thought of one being slowly tortured was not alluring. Maybe it is because you wondered what horrendous events that one would go through to scream so terribly. Maybe you wondered if the people inflecting the pain would torture you in the same fashion. And maybe, just maybe, you prayed to the goddesses and gods that one would be put out of his or her misery?quickly. The moon?bright?beautiful?a sign of hope? The only sign of hope for you was the moon. It, the only source of light in the cave, cast a dim, murky, yellow light. It slightly illuminated your surroundings. You've noticed the shiny, steal bars to the north of you. You watched as its light reflected off of the shackles. The light forced you to notice the chain between the shackles that hugged your wrists and connected you to the dark, rocky wall. Still, the moon was a source of hope for you. You plead to it to bring your enslaved world out of this misery. Loved ones?their sadness for you?the plea to the moon? The only escape you had was to think of your loved ones and the happy times you all had together. As you thought of them, you realized you were just merely torturing yourself. You knew that you'd never see them again. You knew that they would endlessly mourn over the loss of you. As you closed your eyes, you prayed to the moon that they would get over your loss like the moon that somehow gets through the walls of the thick cave. You prayed to the moon that they would forget you?forget that you even existed. That would be the only way they'd get over your death. You were that important to them. Sleep?your only escape? You somehow managed to work up exhaustion. With his sleepy hands, he signaled for you to close your eyes. You, however, were no friend to exhaustion in such strange surroundings. You relentlessly fought, trying to keep your heavy lids open. You finally drift into a light slumber, but you were quickly awaked by the sharp crack of a whip, which was followed by a painful scream. No, you thought, exhaustion wouldn't try to visit you anymore. It's your turn to face the pain now? You began to panic as you heard rapid footsteps head towards your cell. Tears welled up in your eyes as you painfully muffled the sobs that built up in the back of your throat. No, you weren't going to let them see fear in your eyes. You weren't going to let them hear your painful scream when your turn to be tortured came up. You were going to be strong?for your loved ones and for the moon. You knew the moon would be next?next to feel the wrath of the Nega-Verse. You knew all you could do is nothing but watch their pain. It would be the same pain that the Earth was faced with. A sole tear?for the Earth?for the moon?for loved ones? A sole tear escaped your eye when you thought of how you failed the Earth when it needed you the most. You thought of the moon and knew that they could handle the situation better. They would be more prepared. You thought of your loved ones again and wished them well. You hoped that they would be able to escape the pain and put up a strong fight against the Nega-Verse. For the sake of love and the future, you knew that they were bound to win. A smile?for your knowledge? They finally arrived to make you beg and suffer for your life. Your heard the lock of your cell clicked open with a sound of finality. You tried to see the faces of your future murderers, but the light of the moon was no more. You felt the shackles at your hands and feet become unbound. Strong hands picked your frail and malnourished figure up. You were thrown over a wide and strong shoulder. Knowing that your life has already ended when you entered the dungeon, nothing mattered to you anymore. All that mattered to you was that the Moon was going to over come this powerful enemy. With that thought, a smile played across your lips. Ta da.Whew? That was tough. I know it's a little short, but hopefully the chapters will get longer. Who is the girl in the cave? Maybe we'll find out in chapter one. Please feel free to e-mail me and tell me what you think. See ya.
