When the Earth was one country, and the Moon had it's kingdom, there was peace. . . I love that quote. Anyway, here's a realllllly twisted messed up story I'm writing, and there is a few things I'm going to say that may seem confusing now: Even though it doesn't start out with the senshi in it, and even though they are not supposed to seem like a big deal in the story to the other characters in it, they end up becoming a big deal, so don't worry about a lack of sailors. Another thing is, if you are angry because you think I have missused a character, I am only one person with five hundred books. This will be explained later. This is most definently a crossover fanfic, that takes place, and this is for all of the characters, at the most oppertune point in their lives, the very peak, the best possible moment. . . "Think about it: the Bible was written by people who believed the Earth was flat." -Unknown *** This, is location**** --------This is a change of world---------- Title: The Gathering of Kindred: A Crossover Part 1 Author: Enchantress Wyrm Rating: PG to a PG-13 Disclaimer: I OWN NONE OF THESE PEOPLE! There's just to many to list. ------Rethwellan and surrounding Kingdoms of Valdemar------ ***The Keep*** Earthlight shown down on the Moon, rising in a silent path that was set when time began. It's pseudo sunlight fell full onto one furtive being who darted among the boulders that outskirted the kingdom. One being with pierceing flame blue eyes, and inky black hair that was confined into many braids. One being who had alwasy dreamed of the view from here, but never thought she would see it. Now she did. One being, with one mission, and alleigence to one goddess . . . Tarma shena Tale'sedrin would have thought she had gotten used to prophetic dreams, especially ones that dealt with the Moon, seeing as her Goddess was very often realted to it. This did not make strange dreams of the Moon any easier when one wanted to sleep. 'Especially today, when Kethry is going to be trying some experimental spells. Why she needs me, Star-Eyed only knows.' Tarma thought as she prepared to meet with her partner, and Adept class mage of the White Winds schools. :Those who rise at such an ungodly hour should be forced to clean out the stables.: Warrl's mind-voice was that of a still awakening sleeper. :Come on furface, Keth's got magic a-brewing, which means she'll probably want your 'expert' opinion on things.: Tarma had gotten used to the mind-to-mind communication she used with the Pelagir Hills being that had become her 'familiar' early on in her and Kethry's partnership. :Ahh, duty calls.: The wolf-like creature gave a nonchalant stretch and proceded to silently pad out of the room. :Although I till think she should be made to clean the stables out.: Tarma shook her head, and made ready for the on coming day. ------------------Tokyo, Japan---------------------- ***Hikawa Jinja*** Hino Rei stood with hands on hips, fire smouldering in her eyes. "I tell you-I think something is going to happen! Something big!" She told the crowd of disbelievers who were *supposed* to be her friends. "I don't know about this, Rei, I think my mirror would have picked something up." Kaiou Michiru's calm tone only succeeded in causing Rei to become more flustered. "I tell you! I saw something in the fire! It shows that we will have to face a great enemy." She still caught the traces of doubt that lingered on all who were gathered faces'. "Rei, maybe your just tired." Aino Minako said gently, "Yeah, I mean, give yourself a break," Kino Makoto broke in. "It's only been like three months since Galaxia's attack," she glanced at the others "or surrend, or defeat, or alliance, however you look at it." Tsukino Usagi patted her flustered friends arm. "Okay, okay, maybe it wasn't a vision of a new bad guy." Rei relented. "But I'm a hundred percent posititve that there is going to be something strange happening in Tokyo in the next week." "I think she's right about that." Tomoe Hotaru said to the group. "I also believe there will be stange occurences soon." Even though she was the young, her words were considered as good as the others. In matters such as this, sometimes better. Rei nodded with agreement. "Thank you, Hotaru-chan." The younger girl smiled at her. "If that's done with, I believe we all have previous engagements to attend." Tenou Haruka said with a stretch, standing up from her place on the floor. "Someone just give the others a buzz if anything looks strange, eh?" She looked at the group. "Hai." They answered, and also stood up. "Alright then, ja ne." She, Michiru and Hotaru left the temple, the others following close behind. Rei kept shaking her head, sullenly this time. "I really think something's out there." She muttered to herself, began to sweep the temple floor. ---Yeerks newest target of infestation: Earth------- ***Cassie's barn, a.k.a. Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic*** "You do realize that people judge you by the people you hang out with?" Marco asked the group. "It may be unjust, but it is a cold hard fact of life." He nodded gravely. "I, personally, do not fear this judgement, I have no reason to. I only hang out with kids who turn into animals, androids who clean my room, creatures that swim in black holes, walking salad shooters, bird-boy, and an alien who will eat practically anything if it has enough salt." He concluded his lengthy tirade with a head bob in the direction of the four-legged, half human half scorpion blue alien with four eyes and no mouth that currently stood at his best friends side. Ax replied in his thought-speech. "Ah," Marco said. "I stand corrected." Rachel rolled her eyes. "Whatever. We're not here to discuss the company you keep. Besides, if what you say is true, we should have stopped hanging out with you a long time ago, Marco." She said, batting her eyes to soften the blow. "Ow, direct hit." Marco said, dramtically clutching his chest with one hand. Jake ignored him. "We need to focus people." He said, getting down to business. "We have a slight problem." "Yeah, they're called 'big mean evil aliens who could crush us without a thought if they ever even learned we were human.' Frankly, I'm bored with this subject. Why can't we ever discuss somethig new, or at least intresting, like what was on the X-Files last night?" Marco asked rhetorically. Tobias supplied helpfully. He said as they all looked up to him perched in the rafters. "Never mind then, I've seen that episode a couple of times." Marco responded. "Business at hand here? Hello? Thank you." Jake said as they gave him their attention. "Now, we have absolutely so evidence of anything out of the ordinary, but Erek and the Chee seem to think that there is going to be soemthing strange happening soon. I believe his exact words were 'like what happened after we built the pyramids.' He didn't elaborate any farther than that." Jake concluded. "Well, I should think he didn't need to, it's obvious even to an idiot." Marco said. "We are all doomed any way, and now the androids we get our information from are pulling mystical prophecy out of a hat to try and reassure us that we will live long enough to get our driver's licence." "If you can't say something constructive, Marco," Rachel began. "Oh wait, never mind. That's an oxymoron, you could never say something constructive." "Ha, ha, and did I mention, ha?" Marco responded. "Lets just drop this for now until something more comes up." Cassie said. "We've got enough on our plate handling the Yeerks." The group began to leave. "Maybe we'll get lucky and this weird anomoly or whatever will suck up the Yeerks, and prevent Y2K." Marco's comment was greeted with a chorus of demands to shut up. -----Between time---------- ***Enchantress's Place*** 'I can feel it.' The Enchantress thought as she sat in the world between the worlds. 'Soon the time for gathering will begin, and they will all remember who I am.' Enchantresses had been helping Warrriors of Light since all of Creation began. Some say even before that. They help those Chosen, those few in their quest to protect what is right, only by the most furtive of action. This particular Enchantress was a different case, however, she often let these people know who she was, what she was, become close friends, trusted parts of the group, only to one day appear to see that she has been erased from their memory, no recognition whatsoever. 'Work of the High Council.' She thought bitterly. 'They will make sure it stays that way, but if the Light decides to intervene, there will be nothing they can do-and maybe I will finally have my friends back again.' She'd greatly missed certain people in particular, but there had ben nothing to do. Maybe finally there was some hope-hope of acceptence. The Council would tell her it didn't matter, that all that mattered was that she helped these people using her extensive powers. They didn't understand that sometimes all they needed was a friendship they could remeber! She sighed. Self-pity would achieve nothing. She concentrated her power; she was going to need it soon. She sat in a place of swirling light, and did what she had had millenia to perfect. Wait. ------Crown city of Tortall------ ***The Castle*** "I tell you, your majesty, something big is going on." Veralidaine Sarrasri was trying her hardest to convince her audience of her words. "Something almost as big as when the Immortals broke free from the Divine Realms." King Jonathan of Tortall looked unsure. "None of the mages have felt anything. What about you, Numair?" Numair Salmalin just shook his head. "But then again, Daine has always been able to sense things I haven't been able to, with her Wild Magic." He glanced briefely at his beloved. "I don't think there is anything to worry about." Alanna of Pirates Swoop spoke up. "Nothing out there could be strong enough yet, with all the magical energies that have reccently been displaced. It would be very unlikely." "Beside, we have more important things to worry about, like training the new recruits." Horsemaster Onua Chamtong's voice held no room for argument. Daine sighed, giving up. "Don't worry, if anything comes up, we'll deal with it fine." Queen Thayets voice held a reassuraning tone. "I hope so." Daine replied. "I really hope so." --------Haven, Valdemar-------- ***The Palace*** Queen Selenay raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure this just isn't some late affect of the mage storms?" She asked the people before her. Darkwind k'Sheyna shook his head with conviction. "No your majesty, this does not appear to be the affect of a storm, it's more like a Gate." The Queen raised her other eyebrow at that. "Well, better check it out then. Take a group with you, have at least one Adept." Darwind smiled ironically. "If I take the usual group, we'll have about four potential Adepts, your majesty." The Queen thought about it a moment. Then she nodded to him. "Take who you need as long as they can be spared from whatever task they're doing." Darwind nodded again, and left the Chamber. --------Washington D.C., America----------- ***FBI headquarters*** Fox Mulder looked at the mess that was his desk. "I wonder if I can hire a maid to clean this up." He said to himself, looking over the piles of junk. "I wonder if security would let her in." "I wouldn't bet on it." Fox's partner Dana Scully walked in. "You'll just have to do it yourself. Some other time." She added. "I take it that means we're going to be busy people?" Mulder asked cynically. She dropped some folders onto his desk. "Skinner wants us to check this out, ASAP. That means pack your bags, we leave bright and early." "Joy." Mulder said, picking up the envelope and scanning the contents briefly. "Maybe there's some sort of mistake." He pondered. "This case looks almost supernatural or something. Why in the world would Skinner put us on a case like that?" Scully rolled her eyes. "It's probably just some derranged farmers who believe they've been sucked into a time anomoly and can now talk to aliens." "Wouldn't be the first time." Mulder muttered as he gathered up some things and followed Scully out of her office. "Hey, maybe these derranged farmers know the way to prevent Y2K." He didn't see, but rather felt, the piece of paper that hit him on the head as he walked out of the room. Whoo! And that's just the introduction! I think I need to stop before I keel over. (Note: If you're wondering why this chapter is longer than the one for To Play the Part of Love, it's because I've been working on it loner. ^_^) Ja! Enchantress Wyrm -<-@
