~~~Chapter 7 is here! Ok, we all hate Zodos. Well, at least I do. I think he's a jerk, but villains can't be nice always, now can they?? Okay, this is where it should be rated probably PG-PG13. Well, there is violence in here like the last one. Sailor Moon and all other characters belong to Naoko Takeuchi! Not me! No one can compare to her!!!! "Wait!" he called out. Zodos was groaning in pain, and when she looked back, she could see him preparing to teleport back to his palace. *Oh this is just perfect*, she thought herself, trying to keep back tears. She had only wanted to have a fun time tonight, and look what happened. A horrible mess. Zodos for sure could tell how she felt about Orion, and if he told her father what had happened tonight...then she was in big big *BIG* trouble. She had no idea where she was running, just running somewhere far away from all the happy people. Away from it all. Setsuna finally stopped and her legs gave out. She sat on the ground and cried. Then she realized that someone else was there too. He put his hand on her shoulder. "Setsuna, it's ok..." "No, it isn't!" she yelled. She stood up and faced Orion. "It isn't fair!" "What's not fair?" he asked. "That everyone gets to be happy but me!!! If I want to be happy, it comes at a price! Everyone gets to fall in love, everyone is happy because they are in love..." She fell into Orion's arms and cried more. Orion was quiet, and he let Setsuna cry. She stopped a few minutes later. She looked up at him, and smiled sadly. "I'm sorry about what Zodos did...are you all right?" "I can take a few hits, I'm ok..." He looked down at Setsuna, her eyes glittering with tears. Zodos didn't deserve a princess like her at all. Orion leaned down, closer to Setsuna's face and for a moment, their faces were close to each other. Then he kissed her. A long, deep kiss. Setsuna woke up. It was morning... She had a somber look on her face as she recalled the events of last night. Dancing with Orion...Zodos finding out...The angry glare he had shot in her direction... Setsuna put her head in her hands. "Oh god," she muttered. But last night wasn't all bad. Like Orion...and that kiss. She smiled as she thought about it. After they pulled apart, she realized it was quite late, and she returned home to the planet Pluto. Her father had already gone to bed. Setsuna stretched her arms. Orion...that name made her feel warm again. She would love to see him again, but how was that possible? He lived in Hades, and she certainly couldn't ask her father! "Great...I won't be able to see him. Just great." There was a knock at her door. "Princess Pluto?" "Yes?" Setsuna called. "There is a message for you from Princess Neptune. I will leave it under your door." The maid bent down and slid an aqua green envelope underneath Setsuna's bedroom door. Setsuna waited a few seconds, as she heard the maid walk back down the stairs. Then she walked over and picked up the envelope. Yup, it was from Neptune. She opened it up and inside was a short letter. "'Dear Setsuna, I would like to invite you to the Palace of Neptune for a small gathering of friends. Please come, it is tonight at 7. Sincerely, Princess Michiru of Neptune.'" A small gathering...wait there was more writing at the bottom. "'P.S. Prince Orion will be there.'" Her eyes widened. What a perfect oppurtunity! Her father would surely let her go to a party of Michiru's and she would be able to see Orion! Later that evening, Setsuna got ready to go to Michiru's little party. Her father had given her permission. During dinner, her father mentioned Zodos once, and she cringed, ready to hear what was coming to her, but he didn't mention anything about what happened at the ball. So Zodos hadn't told him. She arrived at the palace of Neptune, which was built with huge pale aqua marble columns in the front. Carved images of the ocean and legends about the sea covered the walls of the entrance to the palace. Setsuna walked, in a little shy. Michiru spotted her, and walked over. "Don't worry, Setsuna. He will be here." "Yes, I hope so." The aqua haired princess smiled. "I hope things turn out all right for you." "I hope so too," Setsuna agreed. Then, she saw him. Orion...his dark uniform with the gem badges on it. He had a lavender rose for her. She waited for him to walk to her. A smile on both their faces. He extended his hand to her, and she took the rose. "This is a Hadian rose," he said. "From the Underworld...I hope you like it." "I do," she smiled. His gloved hand was warm...he pulled her onto the dance floor, and they began dancing slowly to quiet, soft music. They leaned closely against each other, and she could feel the soft beat of his heart. He surely must hear hers, since it was beating loudly. At least, that's what it seemed like to her. After the song was over she still leaned close to him. She felt safe in Orion's arms. She looked up at him. He gave a gentle smile and whispered, "I love you." Setsuna's heart beat a little faster, and she blushed slightly. "Orion...I love you too." She bent his head down and kissed him. They met each other whenever possible. Neptune was kind enough to let them meet at her palace. Setsuna's father did question her going there almost everyday, but she said she was becoming better friends with Michiru. Her father had smiled, because he thought Setsuna needed more friends. Then one day, Zodos came over to have lunch with her and her father, so she couldn't go. Her father kept smiling at her and Zodos during the meal. Finally, at dessert, he burst out with supposedly good news. "Setsuna, your wedding will be in 2 weeks." Her eyes widened. "Two-two weeks?" "Yes!" Setsuna coughed. "How...wonderful, father..." Zodos handed her a rose. "Setsuna, my princess...here." She accepted the red rose he gave her. Even though it looked beautiful the thorns pricked her. Like Zodos. She tried to hide her face by looking down. *This wedding will be the end of me...* Zodos stood up and looked at the clock up on the wall. "I am afraid I must go," he said. "Good bye, Setsuna, my love." He was escorted out of the room by a maid. "Father..." "Yes?" "About this wedding...I..I have to marry Zodos...why?" Her father bristled. "Setsuna, despite what you think, I know what's best for you, and you *will* go through with this marriage!" "But-" "Stop this nonsense now. Zodoz will make a good husband for you." The normally calm Pluto felt like screaming. Why didn't her father see how Zodos really was?! How could anyone not notice how evil that prince was?! She realized she was sitting alone at the table. Her father had left and the servants were starting to clean up. She walked out of the room. She had to tell Orion this news. Setsuna turned on a communicator. She pressed some buttons, and it beeped. Then Michiru's face appeared in the tiny screen. "Setsuna! You look upset!" "I am..." "What is the matter??" Setsuna closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "My wedding is in two weeks, Michiru. I have two weeks left with Orion." The princess of Neptune gasped. "Oh no..." "Can...can Orion and I meet at your palace in about an hour?" "All right. I will send for him." Setsuna blinked back tears. "Tell him it's urgent." TO BE CONTINUED ~~~ Sorry that the retelling of her past is so long! But I promise, it'll wrap up in about 1-2 chapters, maye 3 max.
