AUTHOR'S NOTES: Well, even if Christmas has already passed still
I want to greet you all A Merry Christmas!!! And A Blessed New year!!
Gomen This was supposed to come out last week but there were somethings that
I needed to take care of and didn;t have time to put this out and also
I missed the deadline!!! Again Gomen to everybody!!! Minna!! here is 
the last chapter/part of my fic!! 
Thanks for all of you who had emailed me!! Really your comments 
and suggestions were the my motivation throughout the writing of this
fic. To RoseyK thanks!! let's get on with the show!!! 

 Oh yeah before I forget, '....' means the characters are speaking through
their hearts .

    The woman shifted in her sleep as a cry sliced through the silence. Groggily, she 
opened her eyes and glanced at the clock. 3am. She sighed, and turned slightly to see
if the man beside her stirred. Seeing him still asleep, she turned and lowered her limbs 
to the side of the bed and slipped off. Turning back she placed a tender kiss on his 
forehead before leaving him to answer the summoning cry.

    Slipping into the pink colored room adjacent to hers, the woman smiled softly
at the cries coming from the child within the crib. As she approached the crib, the
wailing grew louder. She peered over the side to look at the pink haired baby girl
within. She lowered the gaurd rail and picked up the baby into her arms.

    "There, there little angel. No need to cry anymore mama's here." She cooed softly.

    Feeling and hearing her mother, the baby girl stopped crying and opened her red eyes.
She turned her little head looking for her mother's breast in order to feed.

    Laughing softly, the woman carried her daughter to a rocking chair nearby and sat 
down where she adjusted herself and the baby. As the baby suckled, the woman ran 
a finger her little head, and started to hum a lulluby.


    Next door, the man stirred and turned to reach for his wife. When his hand came on
to nothing he opened his eyes and looked around. 

    "Usako?" He called softly. When no one answered, he got up and doned on his lavander 
robe and went to search for her. He was about to pass the door to the adjoining room when
he heard the humming coming from within. Curious, he pushed the door open a little more
and looked inside. He smiled and leaned against the doorway to gaze at her and their
feeding daughter.

    His eyes took in the lovely scene as he savored the moment. He was thankful that he
had the opportunity to witness this tender scene. As he gazed at his wife, he couldn't
help but feel the utter contentment that flowed over him as he looked at his family.
He though back to when he had lost all hope in saving her and Chibi-Usa and even their
friends and the world from the destruction.

	*******

    Mamoru bit back a cry of pain as he entered the barrier, the electiricity was cutting
into him like knife. He resisted the urge to go back out and relieve himself of the 
pain. He had done so little while the Senshi fought with Onyxia, and it shamed him in 
thinking that they did all the work and he didn't do anything. He wouldn't back off now,
he had to do something in order to save this planet. His Love. Their home.

    Looking now at Usagi's still form, he wanted despearately to see her alive again.
To see her smile at him, laugh with him, to hear her say his name, to hear her say
she loved him and most of all to be with him. Forever. He wanted them to be together
again. He wanted to be given another chance to be with her, another chance to show 
her how nuch he loved her and wanted to protect her.

    Closing his eyes he concentrated and tried to see into himself if there was someway
he could reverse the effect of Onyxia's plan.

     'Usako, please help me! if you can hear me, hear my heart calling for you, please
help me find the power to save this planet and our friends' he called out through
his heart. 

     'And when this is all over take me where you are' he added silently. Searching 
desperately for the bond he had with her. The bond that stood against time and 
space for them to find each other once again.

     'Mamo-chan'

    Mamoru tensed.

     'Mamo-chan' 

    He heard it again. Heard the voice within his heart.

     'Usako?' he asked tentatively.

     'Yes, it's me, Mamo-chan' came Usagi's joyous reply.

     'Usako! please love, help me! help me save our planet and our friends from 
this destruction' he said.

     'Mamo-chan' Usagi replied hesitantly.

     'Usako! Please! Please Tell me what I can do! I failed to save you and Chibi-Usa. 
I don't want to fail again. If it means that I have to give up my life then I will! 
I know I don't have the power that you have with the Ginzuishou but I don't want to die 
and not try anything to save this world.' he said desperately.

     Silence only answered him.

     'Usako, I don't want to live without you. But if I'm going to die and see you I
don't want to face you with this shame of not being able to do anything.'

     'Mamo-chan, I don't know how to help you. I don't have the power of the Ginzuishou
anymore. the onyx has been draining it from my body ever since the first time. Only I 
didn't notice it.' Usagi said then stopped.

     'Usako'

     'Mamo-chan believe in yourself I know you have a power of your own to help save
this world. Do you not remember the countless times you have brought me to life? It
wasn't only me who had the power of the Ginzuishou. I believe that you have one of
your own. A far more greater power then mine.'

     'A power of my own?' he asked then added 'What power do I have? I wasn't even
to save you from Onyxia. How can I believe that I have a power of my own now? and
more so how can I believe that I have a power much greater than yours?'

     'Yourself doubt has always been your weakness.' Usagi chidded softly.

     'Just believe in yourself, Mamo-chan. Everything and anything is possible
if only you would just believe. I believe in you, but that alone is not enough to 
awaken whatever it is inside you. You just have to believe in yourself.' As her
voice started to fade. 

     'Usako don't leave me!' Mamoru cried silently, as he frantically held on to
Usagi's bond.

     'Don't worry I'll be here waiting for you...' Usagi said as her voice faded 
completely.

     Opening his eyes Mamoru gazed at Usagi's face. A power of his own? A
power far more greater than hers? He didn't understand what Usagi meant. 
But he had to try. Forming a rose in his hand he let threw it at the 
onyx holding Usagi's body. It shattered and freed her, catching her in his arms, 
Mamoru held her body against his and buried his face in her hair. He felt the energy
being released all around him. He didn't know if the barrier could contain it. Without
the onyx serving as a container the life force that was within it started to move
around waiting for another to claim its powerful energy. He felt some of 
the energy flowing into him, he tried to hold it but couldn't because it
was to wild for him to contain.

     'Onegai, Kami-sama, if there IS any power sleeping within me, awaken it now so
that I may save this world, my friends, my love from this destruction.' He cried
silently into his heart as the energy around him started to grow heavier, and
tried to enter him and claim him as its new owner.

      As the cave crumbled around them and the energy trying to enter and
claim him, Mamoru held the still form of his love against his own wishing that 
someone would hear his plea.

      

      He felt himself floating, an entity without a body. He wondered whether he was 
dead or alive. He didn't know where he was, all around him was pitch black. He tried
to call out but no voice came from his mouth. So he had failed, if this place
was a testament to that, it showed that he had failed to save the world, his 
friends and most of all he failed to save his love. He looked around
the vast darkness looking for a way to get out of this place. But he found nothing
that could lead him out. 

     When he heard it. He heard someone calling out his name. Someone calling for 
him to come. But where? he wanted to ask but he had no voice. He followed the voice 
and felt himself being drawn toward an unknown point in this dark surrounding. It 
started as a white point which grew in size as he made his way towrads the voice
which was beckoning him to step out into the light.
 
      He then felt a hand touch his face. His face? Am I not dead? he wondered. 
Then the voice called his name once again this time it was nearer, and this
time he heard the fear in it. 

     "Mamo-chan, wake up! Please wake up!" 

      Mamoru slowly opened his eyes, to find himself looking into a face he had 
lost all hope to see once again. 

      "Usako?" he whispered reaching out a hand to touch her face. Usagi nodded
and turned her head to kiss his palm. 

      "Am I in heaven?" he asked. Not daring to lift his hand from her face. Usagi shook
her head as tears started to form in her eyes, she couldn't speak for her joy was 
overwhelming that her love was awake at last.

      "Then where am I?" He asked belatedly realizing that he was lying in a silk
covered bed. 

      "I don't know, I woke up beside you and found myself in this room with
you. I don't know how we got here though." Usagi said shaking her head once again.
It was only then that Mamoru noticed Usagi's hair. He tentatively reached out and 
touched it.

      "Usako? What... What happened to your hair?" he asked staring. Usagi's hair
was no longer blond, instead it was silvery white and framed her face in its whitish
glow. Not only that it was longer than before.

      "That's just it, I don't know either. I woke up and it was in that color already."
She said, then giggled, she reached out and touched his hair in turn. "Mine's not the
only one who changed though, yours did too. And I must say lavander looks good on you
too." 

      Mamoru sat up then, "My hair turned to lavander? But it wasn't supposed too,
not unless..." he trailed off when the dawning of understanding came into Usagi's
eyes.

      Suddenly a portal opened before them, and the Senshi of Time stepped through. 
"Pluto!" they both exclaimed. Pluto smiled at the couple and knelt down. "Welcome 
Your Majesties."

      "Your Majesties? You don't mean..." Usagi said staring at the kneeling Senshi. 

      "Hai. Crystal Tokyo has been born." Pluto replied. Mamoru and Usagi looked at
each other, shock clearly written on their faces. "NANI!?" Mamoru and Usagi yelped.
Then looked back at the amused senshi.

      "But how? why?" Mamoru asked. "I mean we were supposed to be dead, aren't we?
How come we're alive right now? And what do you mean Crystal Tokyo has been born?" 
Crystal Tokyo was born!? But how was that possible? He thought Crystal Tokyo was 
supposedly to be built by him and Usagi. But they died didn't they? He remembered the 
cave was crumbling around them during those last moments. But how come they were alive?

      "It was because of your power, Endymion-sama. Your desire to live and to protect 
the world and the one you love." Pluto said looking at Mamoru's shocked face.

      "My power?" Mamoru asked confused.

      "Hai. Even if you didn't know it at that time. A crystal was living in your
body. Much like that of the Ginzuishou, your crystal was buried deep within you and
only your strong desire to protect would awaken it. It was in those last moments
the crystal was awaken when you asked it to give you the power to protect the world,
but most of all the one you loved. It was the crystal that answered you. It enveloped
the soul of everyone in itself." Pluto explained. "It used your desire to rebuild the
world and each soul was given new life, like that of rebirth. Thus Crystal Tokyo came
to pass.

      "Then we're at Crystal Tokyo right now?" Usagi asked. 

      The Senshi of time looked at her and smiled. "Hai. But more accurately you are
in your bed chamber in the Crystal Palace."

      "And the other Senshi?" Usagi inquired, leaning against Mamoru. 

      "Actually, they have been awake for quite sometime now. It was only you they were 
waiting to awaken." Pluto stood up and took a step back. "In fact they were getting 
worried for you both were awakening much slower than they did."

      "How long have they been awake?" Mamoru asked curiously.

      Pluto smiled and answered. "They've been awake for a month now."

      "A MONTH?" shouted the two.
 
      Trying not to laugh at their expressions Pluto bit her lip. "I must go back to the 
Time Gate, I have been away far long enough. If you should need anything, just
call me using your minds and I will come." With those words she went back into the
portal and vanished.

      Usagi looked up at Mamoru and saw him staring off to where Pluto had just 
disappeared. "Mamo-chan?" she called softly. Mamoru looked down at her and smiled
tentatively.

      "I'm still confused as to everything that is happening. I mean, I can't believe
that there was a crystal sleeping within me all along and that it was the one who
gave us back our lives." He said placing a hand against Usagi's cheek. 

      "Usako, gomen if I wasn't able to save you before. I know I promised that I
would no matter what. But I failed to do so." Mamoru whispered placing his forehead
against Usagi's.

      Usagi shook her head and placed one of her hands on his cheek. "Iie you don't have
to apologize. The only thing that is important right now is that we're both alive and 
that we could have another chance in doing what we failed to do before."

      Mamoru smiled. "Aishiteru, Usako."

      Tears gathered in Usagi's eyes as she whispered back. "Aishiteru, Mamo-cahn."

      Mamoru closed his eyes and breathed deeply, clearing his mind of that faithful
day, he straightened and made his way towards his wife. Who, by this time, was admiring
their daughter.

      "Hey," Mamoru whispered as he knelt down beside his family. Usagi looked at him
and smiled. "Hey yourself." Usagi whispered back and kissed him softly on the lips.

      After she pulled away, she leaned her head on Mamoru's shoulder. "Did I wake you
up?" She asked as she watched Mamoru stroke a finger on their daughter's cheek. 

      "No, you didn't. I was reaching for you and not finding you beside me woke me up."
Mamoru said. He smiled as the baby suckled more hungrily at her mother's breast gurggling
incoherent words.

      "Chibi-Usa's really hungry, isn't she? She eats alot like her mother." Mamoru 
teased and was rewarded by a punch on the stomach. He chuckled and kissed Usagi's 
nose.
    
      "You'll pay for that!" Usagi said, as they observed their daughter. Mamoru
lightly brush a finger on his daughter's head. Chibi-Usa blinked and smiled then
continued to eat. 

     "I remembered when you told me about you being pregnant." He said smiling at that 
thought. Usagi turned to look at him and smiled, also remembering. 

     "Yeah and I remember just how you took in the news." Her eyes twinkling 
mischeviously.

     Mamoru groaned. "You're never going to let me live it down will you?" He asked
as he cocked an eyebrow.

     "Nope." Usagi giggled. "Not a chance." Mamoru made a face and went back to
observe his daughter.

      After having her fill, the baby left her mother's breast and started to fling
her arms demnding her father's attention.

      Mamoru laughed and took the now fed baby into his eager arms giving Usagi time
to straighten herself. He tickled the baby's chin and was rewarded by a happy laugh.

      He looked at Usagi's shining face, and smiled. "She's really beautiful, ne?"

      Usagi nodded. And watched him play with their daughter a little more. When 
Chibi-Usa made a yawn, she held out her arms to put her to bed. 

      Mamoru shook his head and gestured towards the door. "No I'll take care of it, 
go back to our room, I'll be there in a few minutes." 

      "If your sure." Usagi said and left them.

      Mamoru looked down at his daughter and started to rocked her. Chibi-Usa's eyes 
drooped little by little and then fell asleep in her father's arms. Carefully, he
laid Chibi-Usa onto her bed once again and placed a light blanket over her to ward of
the night chill. He placed a light kiss on her forhead and replaced the gaurd rail, then
quietly left the room.

      When he stepped into his own room. He saw Usagi looking out the window. The moon
cast a romantic glow onto her. Her white night gown was almost transparent in the moon's
light. Mamoru walked up behind her and slipped his arms around her waist. He kissed her
shoulder and placed his chin on top of her head.

      "What are you thinking?" He asked gazing out into the night. 

      "Oh, just about when we woke up and found out that Crystal Tokyo was born." Usagi
said leaning back against him.

      "I was thinking about it just a little while ago to." He confessed as pulled her 
even closer. "and you know I just realized something." Mamoru said after a comfortable
silence.

      "What's that?" Usagi curiously asked turning in his arms to place her own 
arms around his neck. Mamoru looked down on her gazing into her blue eyes.

      "That I failed to do one of the most important promise I made to you. And
its only now that I can fulfill it." Mamoru said as he leaned in for a kiss.

      Mesmerized by his voice, Usagi leaned closer to receive his kiss. "And
what promise was that, Mamo-chan?" she asked when their lips were but a breath away.

      "That I'll always be here."
