Hey everyone, This is Fire Dallas. This is just a little story I wrote while listening to Billy Joel. Disclaimers: I do not own Sailor Moon or any of the characters. This story is my own idea though. I do not own the lyrics to the song either. Those belong to Billy Joel. You’re My Home Fire Dallas Firedallas@yahoo.com Rating-PG You’re My Home Billy Joel When you look into my eyes And you see the crazy gypsy in my soul It always comes as a surprise When I feel my withered roots begin to grow Well I never had a place that I could call my very own But that’s alright my love, ‘cause you’re my home When you touch my weary head And you tell me everything will be all right You say, use my body for your bed And my love will keep you warm through out the night Well I’ll never be a stranger and I’ll never be alone When ever we’re together that’s my home Home can be the Pennsylvania Turnpike Indiana’s early morning dew High up in the hills of California Home is just another word for you Well I never had a place that I could call my very own But that’s alright my love, ‘cause you’re my home If I travel all my life And I never get to stop and settle down Long as I have you by my side There’s a roof above and good walls all around You’re my castle, you’re my cabin, and my instant pleasure dome I need you in my house ‘cause you’re my home You’re my home Darien stepped off the plane into the airport. His eyes scanned around him. * It is good be home * he thought to himself. He then realized something. Was this his home? For the last year and a half he had called America his home but now he was in his original home: Tokyo. ***** Darien dropped his bags on the floor. He has just gotten back to his old apartment. It looked mostly the same, a little dusty, but the same. He sighed and slipped off his shoes. Walking forward to the couch, Darien slumped down on it. He began to rub his eyes. He was tired and confused. * Where is my home? * This question repeated itself in his head over and over again. Darien groaned in frustration. He couldn’t figure it out. He had traveled all around America for over a year, but he lived in Tokyo before that. Where was his home? A soft knock came on the door and Darien rose slowly and walked over to it. He opened the door to find a very nervous Serena on the other side. She was unconsciously looping her figures in her shirt. “Hey Serena!” Darien said happily. “Hey Darien,” Serena said looking up slowly. “I wasn’t sure if you wanted to see me. I thought that you might be too tired after your trip.” “Not want to see you? I would never even think of such a thing,” he said letting her in. Serena walked in and made herself comfortable on the couch. “So how was America?” She inquired as he sat down next to he “It was very interesting. It is a lot different from Tokyo. I missed it a lot,” Darien said. “I missed you a lot too,” Serena said sadly. Darien looked at her downcast face. He carefully put his arm around her and pulled her close. “I missed you the most, Meatball Head,” Darien said stroking her hair and kissing her forehead. “Not a day went by that I didn’t think about you,” he continued. “I felt alone without you.” Serena looked up into Darien’s deep ocean blue eyes. He smiled at her and leaned down. They kissed long and deep, making up for all the lost time they had from the time he left. When they broke off both were gasping for breath and Serena rested her head on Darien’s shoulder breathing deeply as Darien rubbed her back. “I love you Serena,” Darien said. “I love you too Darien. And I promise you that you will never be alone again.” Darien and Serena kissed again. It was now that Darien realized that wherever Serena was, as long as he was with her he would be home and he realized that he would always have her. The End Well that’s the story, I thought the song did fit. I hope you enjoyed it.
