Disclaimer: If don't know by now who owns Sailor Moon then you are a shame to Moonies everywhere and pose as an insult to Takeuchi Naoko-sama. A Little Emotion Called Love chapter one by Aino Tsuki Tenshi E-mail: aino_tsuki_tenshi@angelfire.com URL: http://www.angelfire.com/ok2/ladybabyandmickieluv Love. A four, letter word that holds great meaning for those who treasure it with their hearts, bodies, minds and souls. An emotion that binds those who care for each other together with an unbreakable bond. The dictionary describes love as a deep affection; a warm feeling for another. All this is about to be taken to a new level when two young lives cross . . . maybe the more appropriate term should be thrown, into each others lives. Together, they will learn the meaning of true, eternal love. The love of the souls . . . Sitting upon her thrown, her silver hair shining with lavender highlights, was pulled into two odangos on either side of her regal head. Two streamers of silver hair fell from each odango, the ends trailing two feet behind her. Her white gown hugged her body like a second skin; the material it was designed with seemed to glow with an Inner Light. The huge, trailing bow the back of her exquisite gown resembled a pair of angle wings. Looking upon her beautiful face, a living being would think her in her late twenty's judging by her youthful features. Her conspicuous, gray eyes betrayed her though, revealing her true age of almost a millennium. A golden crescent, her family's insignia, its points facing upward, adorned her forehead. Her name is Queen Serenity, the beloved ruler of the Moon Kingdom and of a time known as the Silver Millennium. A time when the Universe was at peace and all the planets were united as one . . . except for one. The planet known only as Earth. Earth. A planet that held beauty all its own. From its lush, fertile, green lands to its deep, crystal blue waters, Earth was truly a sight to behold. Through all Earth's majestic beauty, a single flaw marred its surface . . . humans. Arrogant pride and their skepticism of the arts of magic prevented Earth from joining the other planets in the Silver Millennium. Humans feared that if they created an alliance with their fellow planets, they would be overpowered by the other planets and treated as slaves. Even though the crown prince of Earth would one-day weld the magic that surrounded and grew on Earth, humans still scoffed at magic. Queen Serenity sat quietly upon her thrown, staring into open space. A quiet sigh escaped her red lips as she felt a gentle movement in swelled stomach. "Ohayo my little one," Queen Serenity whispered as she gently rubbed her right hand over the bulge of her stomach trying to soothe her aggravated unborn daughter. A quiet knocking on the huge, oak doors leading into the thrown room shook her out of the reverie she had slipped into. "Enter," she said in her kind, soft voice. Raising it only enough to be heard through the thick wood the door was constructed with. She watched as a tall man with graying, dark, brown hair and dark, tanned skin entered through the giant doors. The queen's memory identified him as the messenger of the royal family of Earth and a long time friend of hers. "It is good to see you again Shawn! What brings you to the Moon my friend?" Queen Serenity asked in a voice filled with cheerfulness. "I bring a message Queen Gaia of Earth sent to you old friend and I'm dying to know of the contents! The queen made it out to sound very important," Shawn replied, smiling at the zeal in the Moon Queen's attitude. 'I guess what I heard about pregnant woman having heavy mood swings was true!' Shawn thought to himself, chuckling inwardly as he handed her the handed the sealed letter that the Queen of Earth had told him to take extreme care in delivering. Queen Serenity eagerly snatched the letter from his hand, quickly tore open the envelope and read over the contents quickly, then again she read it. A smile rapidly began to grow on her face, spreading from ear to ear. All of the queen's excitement began growing and growing until she let it out in one loud escape from her mouth. "HAI!" She screamed out in excitement, only managing to fortify Shawn's curiosity even more. "What does the letter say Serenity?! You know I loathe being left in the dark!" Shawn said in a pleading voice, sounding pathetically forlorn. "Earth is finally going to join the Silver Millennium!" Queen Serenity replied her excitement only slightly controlled. "HOW! I thought the people of Earth were heavily against joining the other planets in the Silver Millennium!" Shawn practically yelled, his words slightly inarticulate. "The people of Earth agreed to join if it was by a royal marriage between their crown prince and one of the crown princesses of the other planets, they would have no objections. Of course, I think they are feeling a little remorse for scoffing at magic when their own Prince Endymion is to wield the magic of the senshi of Earth," the queen added as an after thought with a sly grin and continued on, "Prince Endymion shall be betrothed to my daughter Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom." "The princess isn't even born yet! Shouldn't she have the right know of her betrothal while she is born and not in your womb?" asked Shawn, appalled. "I know, it is unfair to this to her as it is the young prince, but this decision was not just made for the union of Earth and the Silver Millennium. The prophecy played a role in this too." "Th-th-the p-pro-prophecy! I thought that was a mere myth!" "Very much the opposite. What is written in the old legend holds truth," replied with a cool, collected voice, unabashed that she was choosing her daughter's future for her. "Soul-Mates huh? Well I see nothing wrong with the decision then . . . although, I hope the prince and princess won't rip out each others throat before find out they're soul-mates. That could prove fatal for the truce . . ." Queen Serenity let out a small chuckle before informing Shawn of a message to relay back to Queen Gaia on his return back to Earth. ". . . and tell Queen Gaia and her husband King Damion that I invite them up to the moon for the birth of my daughter and to bring Prince Endymion. I know he is quite young to learn how to use the magic within him but if he is not trained to control it, when most of his dormant powers awaken, he will not be able to control his power from hurting others. Besides, I think the young prince should meet his future wife," Queen Serenity said gasping for breath, trying to tell Shawn everything she wanted relayed to the King and Queen of Earth. Shawn stepped through the transporter of swirling green and blue smoke that led back to Earth, finally managing to escape from the queen's exceptionally long message feeling only a little a disgruntled. When he reached Earth, he relayed the Queen of the Silver Millennium told him. Within a few days, the royal family, including a little reluctant prince, departed for the moon to start Endymion's training and to await the birth of the princess of the serene Moon Kingdom. Queen Serenity anxiously waited in front of the transporter of swirling green and blue mists that opened to Earth to the moon for the royal family of Earth to emerge from its smoky depths. She started pacing back forth acting more like a small child than a queen a nearly millennium old. 'What is taking them so long! They should have been here by now!' the queen thought to herself, now staring into the swirling mists of the transporter, trying to use the power of will to have the royalty of Earth to walk through at that moment. Either it worked or pure luck was on her side for she saw the short form of the young Prince of Earth come bounding through the mixture of blue green mists of the transporter. Strands of his jet-black hair falling into his eyes. His stormy, blue eyes, as curious as a kitten's, looked around in awe of his white, marbled surroundings. Queen Serenity smiled at the 5-year-old prince. The smile suddenly turned to a frown as she grabbed her stomach and doubled over slightly as a contraction hit her. Endymion was about to smile back at Queen Serenity when he saw her smile gone and in obvious pain. He ran to her side and asked what was the matter, worry written across his features. "G-get your parents . . . te-tell them my water broke and to meet me at the hospital at the palace," Queen Serenity managed to gasp out as she was led away to the palace hospital by a few of the surrounding guards and one of her two feline advisors. The petite black one named Luna. Endymion watched confused, as the queen was led away. He didn't notice the small white cat that moved slightly so it was standing in front of the dazed prince. The clearing of a throat made him look down to see the other of the queen's feline advisors, Artemis. "We better go and inform your parents, the King and Queen of Earth, of the change of plans Prince Endymion," Artemis said quietly to the young prince, the golden crescent on the feline's white forehead glinting in the light. "ENDYMION! You know better than to run through the portal! You could have hurt yourself!" said the stern voice of his mother. "I'm sorry mom," the young prince, averting his mother's eyes to look at the ground. His head snapped up when he remembered what the queen of the moon had told him to tell his parents. "Mommy! Daddy! Queen Ser . . .Seren . . ." "Serenity son," his father offered. Endymion smiled up at his father and continued on, "Queen Serenity told me to tell you that she broke her glass of water!" he replied with a grin plastered on his face. "Serenity broke her what?" a baffled Queen Gaia asked her son. "What your son means your majesties, is that Queen Serenity has been taken to the infirmary in the palace because she has gone into labor," Artemis informed the royalty of Earth. "The Queen has requested I lead you to there immediately." (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) Well there you have it! The first chapter of my first Fanfic! I'm so happy I'm starting to cry!(I'm being sarcastic, okay?!) I hope I can get the next chapter out soon. I might take longer though because I have to go back to school on Febuary 2nd. If you find it in your hearts to e-mail me don't be shocked if I sign in differrent names. The only ones I'll probably sign in is: Jessie; ATT; Aino Tsuki Tenshi; Tenshi; Ai Tenshi; Tsuki Tenshi; Utinni(don't ask!); Jissu-chan(Jessie in Japenese); and anything else I feel like signing with so don't get confused. One more inmportant detail, I'm basing this story on the Manga because I think the way that Endymion and Serenity died was much more realistic than in the Anime where they because of a blast of black light. That was SO lame! The only different thing is Sere's and Endy's love will not be a forbidden one even though I think that is WAY more romantic than what I'm writing with them being betrothed and all. I also apologize for any spelling errors, I've been off track for so long that I sometimes forget the day of the week! Well, ja ne minna-chan util the next chapter!
