It wasn't a life she had ever dreamed of. She was happy,
in fact very happy. Her life wasn't exciting, but calm and quiet.
She always cheered up when she looked at her husband. She
felt very much that he was her true love. He thought so too.
Darien was the perfect man, well at least she thought so. He
was kind, loving, compassionate, and very handsome. But her
heart would break when she looked at his face. Oh it had once
been an intoxicating thing for her, to look into that face, those
eyes, those beautiful ocean blue eyes, which now could not
see a thing. Yes, Darien was blind, but they never discussed it
anymore since it was uncomfortable for both of them to talk about.

He wasn't always that way, but ten years ago they both were in
a car accident. They thankfully survived, Serena got away with a
broken leg, a dislocated arm, and several bruises. Darien unfortunately
lost total sight in both of his eyes.

Now they lived in a small country side town. Serena was a writer
of children's books and was quite popular. Darien did not work but
he helped Serena write. They were happy, but they both felt that they
should have had a more adventurous life. They were content, but Serena
knew she should of had more.

One day Serena and Darien were on a picnic and enjoying the
beautiful spring afternoon and then quit suddenly a huge gust
of wind came by.

"What in the world?" Darien asked as he shielded his face from
the harsh winds and held Serena tighly in his arms.

"What's going?" Serena screamed over the strong wind.

"I don't know?" Darien replied.

Then suddenly as sudden as it started the wind stopped.
Serena got up and looked around.

"What do you see?" Darien inquired.

Serena dumbfoundedlly answered, "Nothing... it's the same
as always..."

"Are you sure?" Darien asked in concern.

"Yes," Serena reasured.

"Are you posative?" another voice inquired.

"What?" Serena murmmured as she turned to face a hideaous
man standing right in front of her which made her scream at the
top of her lungs.

"Serena! Serena! What's going on?" Darien called out to her as
her struggled to his feet. "Serena!"

"Darien help me!" Serena cried just as another gust of wind
attacked Darien and made him fall to the ground and then silance.

"Serena! Serena! Where are you? Answer me! Serena!" Darien yelled.

"It's no use Darien, Gaff has taken her away" explained a trembling
voice.

"Who's that?" Darien asked.

"Luna" replied Serena and Darien's house cat.

"The cat!" Darien laughed, "and I suppose Artimas can speak as well.

"Yes I can" answered Artimas.

"But how?" Darien questioned his two pets.

"I'll explain, with the Luna Mind Meld" with that Luna restored Darien's
true memories.

Darien was overwhelmed with flashes of memories. "I remember,
I am Tuxedo Mask, I fought beside Sailor Moon, Serena! We
discovered I was Prince Darien of Earth and she was my true
love Princess Serena of the Moon. There were other Sailor
Scouts, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus,
and Pluto! But we fought against a horrible enemy, Xandra! The
Scouts all died, Sailor Moon was very badly hurt, and I saved her
life! But I lost my sight from it." Darien collasped on the ground with
his retored memories.

"Are you all right?" Artimas wondered.

"Yes, but why did you erase our memories?" Darien inquired.

Luna sighed, "We didn't at first, but Serena blamed herself
that the Scouts were killed and also blamed herself that you
couldn't see anymore. So we took all your memories away, but
now Xandra and her minions Gaff, Acnar, and Azure have found
you and we had to bring them back."

"Why did you keep the memory of our love for each other?"
Darien whispered still dumbfounded.

"Because all your life you have been seperated and we just
didn't have the heart to take the memories of you love away."
Artimas explained.

"Why did they take her?" Darien choked.

"Because they want her to use the Imperium Silver Crystal
so they can destroy the world." Luna sighed.

Artimas continued, "But you must stop them!"

"Me! Look at me I can't see! I can't help Serena if I can't see!"
Darien cried.

"Yes you can," Luna mumbled.

"How!" Darien yelled.

"Through your heart," she answered.

"What do you mean," Darien grumbled.

"She means that you can't see through your eyes, but
you can see through your heart. Trust your other senses,
especially sound and smell. We can help you, but you need
to trust us and your heart." Artimas lectured.

"Then teach me" Darien replied.

"We will, but you must believe in yourself, Darien, you must
believe that you can succed!" Luna comanded.

"But I don't!" Darien bellowed.

"Then Xandra has already won, and you'll never see Serena
again," muttered Artimas.

Darien put his face in his hands and cried, "How can I save
her! I can't see anymore!"

Luna calmly repeated, "See through your heart, Darien"

Darien choked back his tears and in his memory he saw Serena,
he loved her more than anything, even his own life. He gave a heavy
sigh and agreed, "Teach me how,"
