Hi! this is Alice again, Did you like my fanfic? I hope you did. Now this 
is the third part of my story SailorMoon universal F.

Did you guys like jack? Ummm...i think he still sounds a bit brooding at
the moment, but i'll work on it!

I need moral support to keep writing, because i have a lot of homework 
at the moment and without the feeling i can't write. And those feelings
i get from emails!!!

Declaimer :By the way, All characters in this fanfic doesn't belong to me,
it belongs to the wonderful lady who created Sailormoon. but i can't spell
her name, so forgive me and don't sue me. Cause i'm pennyless :)
The villains belong to me though. And so does Jack!!!!
And i'm sorry i took part of the title of Jendra's universal series.
But i really can't think of another name for this story. 

Oh and please!!! I beg you! Anyone who has any good fanfics to

Chapter 3

	Jack was still supporting Serena as they entered teh classroom. 
Because they were late, and all the other students were seated already,
their appearance caused every single pair of eyes to fall upon them, and
the hand jack had placed around Serena's tiny waist.

	"Uhhh....Good morning Miss Haruka, sorry we're late. But-umm...i 
wasn't feeling so well, and Jack was nice enough to help me." Serena said
sheepishly and tried to give her best smile at the same time as well as
push Jack's arms hastly away from her waist.

	"Take a seat Serena. And Jack-Try not to be late." Ms H said 
carelessly.

Serena raised an eyebrow and smiled a bit as she and Jack made their way
back to their seats. She nudged Jack gently on teh way. 

	"She has a date tonight." and winked.

The corner of Jack's mouth twitched, but still he did not smile.

As soon as Serena got to her seat, Amy shifted in her seat and moved 
closer to SErena and whispered quietly in her ears.

	"Serena, are you alright?" she sounded concern.

Serena nodded, remembering the ache in her chest all of a sudden. but it
didn't hurt that much anymore and she didn't want AMy to worry.

	"yeah, i'll be alright amy. don't fuss." Serena said and grew
quiet again as another pain shot through her chest.

She sighed inwardly. what was ahead for the sailorscouts? Had the end
really come? Was it really her time to fight the final battle before
her reign of Crystal Tokyo begins? Serena didn't know. But she was sure
about onet hing. She wasn't ready. Fate just hadn't give her enough
time to fully experience life yet. All of a sudden, life seemed like
the beginning of a harsh reality.

	"Do you think Rini will manage here in TOkyo again after being 
away for a year?" Serena said suddenly.

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon that very same day as she and DArien
strolled down a busy main street in the heart of Tokyo. Their hands were
intertwined as they made their way to the arcade where Andrew worked. 
Of course, they'd need to be careful incase they bumped into SErena's dad
on the way, as he still did not approve of Darien or his age. 

Still, Serena was in the best of moods as they passed hurrying padestrian.
And for once on that day, she forgot about the pain in her chest, because
she was with the person she loved most in teh world.

Darien considered, than nodded slowly. "She'll be alright. She always
adjusts quickly. SHe's a very strong little girl." he smiled and put his
arms around Serena's waist and kissed her lightly on the forehead.

	"Just like her mother." he whispered in her ears.

Serena smiled and her heart fluttered. "Oh Darien. you're wonderful. I 
just don't know where all my conceited jerks and idiots came from." 

Darien chuckled softly and smiled to himself. he had been lucky to have
Serena. "mmm...seems like such a long time ago, doesn't it?"

Serena nodded and suddenly her heart saddened. All that happened in teh 
past year or so immediately filtered back into her memory. Beryl, alan
and Anne, the doom phantom. God, they were all a piece of a puzzle
she wanted away from her life. 

	"Very long time. A thousand years ago perhaps." she said softly.

Darien nodded solemnly, sensing his girlfriend's sadness. He understood,
Serena was too kind for battles. Heck! There wasn't ever suppose to be
a Sailormoon. There shouldn't be the need. They were meant to protect 
their princess!

	"Yes. A thousand years ago." he murmured finally and wrapping 
his arms tighter around her, he kissed her gently on teh lips again and
continued their way to the arcade. 

	"SERENA USAGI TSUKINO!!!!" 

	"Oh no-that sounded like my-" Serena began as she turned around
to face her fate "Dad" she finished, and waited in embarassment as her
Ken Tsukino stormed up to she and Darien.

	"Get your hands off her, you..you...College boy!" Mr Tsukino raged
through gritted teeth as he pushed the hand DArien had around serena off 
her waist.

	"Daddy-" Serena began but didn't have a chance to say more as
Mr Tsukino raged on.

	"She is too young for you! Too young do you hear me! TOO YOUNG!" 
he yelled as the whole street turned around to watch. "She's just a
little girl! What does she know about this kind of thing! DOn't you
think you're just taking advantage of her?" 

	"Mr Tsukino, i have no means of taking advantage of Serena. She
may be younger than me, but she's a very special person." Darien said

	"Now you listen to me College Boy, i don't care whether you
take advantage of her or not. She is too young for relationships! Too
young!" 

Darien sighed, but this time he was determined to show Mr Tsukino how he
really feels about Serena.

	"Mr Tsukino. You have a beautiful daughter here. Not only does 
she have the biggest heart i know, she is also the most loving and 
courageous person i know. And i love her for that. No don't start" 
Darien held out a hand as Mr Tsukin o began to speak again.

	"Between me and Serena, Age had never mattered. I don't think 
love should ever be sterotyped into age. I know you don't like me very 
much Mr Tsukino but i assure you, i will make you change your mind about 
me and serena. Because whether you like it or not, I plan to marry
Serena when she's old enough. And i mean it. We're both very serious." 

	"Oh Darien. Thank you so much. I don't think i've ever heard
you say those words before." SErena whispered to him as Mr Tsukino
gaped at his words.

	"You-you plan to marry her?" he gasped out at last.

Darien sighed again. "Yes, Mr Tsukino. I do." 

Mr Tsukino grew quite after that. The boy had me speechless. He realised
suddenly and pondered at how deep he and Serena's love really was.
For, how could he bring himself to believe that his daughter was
finally growing up at last. COuld it really be true? Could Serena, his
darling lovable Serena be growing up?

	"Look after her, Da-Darien." Mr Tsukino said finally. Realising
for once that young love was possible. "I'm not saying i like you, Darien
because i don't but i-i trust Serena is save with you."  

Darien smiled warmly and Serena could barely keep herself from bursting
into joyful tears. "Thank you Mr Tsukino. I'll love her with my life."

	"Is it just me, or has the sky been especially gloommy lately?" 
Mina said as she gingerly played with her hair. 

It was lunchtime at Crossroad high, and Serena, Amy, Lita and Mina were all
pigging out on the big lunch Lita had bought to school that day.

	"As a treat for all of you guys." she had said. 

It had been days since the last youma had arrived and Tokyo was peaceful 
once again. Yet Serena wasn't so sure. It wasn't right for just one youma
to come out, and than for the attacks to stop so suddenly! It just 
wasn't right, and again Serena thought about "the eye of the storm" 

Anyhow, nothing mattered much at the moment. serena smiled as she 
remembered her father's words. *Look after her, Da-Darien* It was a
dream. Her father had finally accepted Darien as part of their family.
Well, more or less. 

Stuffing her mouth with sushi, Serena said happily "YOu are one of the
best cooks in the whole world, do you know that, Lita!" she exclaimed
and bits of sushi flew out of her mouth.

Lita blushed. it was just like SErena to say those words. 	

	"Thanks Serena." 

	"Hey Serena, isn't he that guy who carried you into school the 
other day?" Mina was saying now as she gestured at Jack's silent figure
as he walked across the basketball court alone.

	"Mina. For teh hundredth time, he DID NOT carry me into school,
he helped me. that was all." Serena said, but her mind was elsewhere
as she watched Jack. 

	"Hey Jack!" Serena called suddenly, surprising all of her
friends. "Come over here and join us!"

	"Uhh..Serena, i don't think that would be a good idea." Amy was
saying, but Serena ignored her.

	"Jack!" she called again.

Jack turned around but didn't respond. He didn't fancy having lunch with
a bunch of girls, even if Serena was one of them.

He shook his head in their direction and walked away.

	"What are loner." Lita said as he watched Jack go. She felt sorry
for him. He seemed just like her when she first came to Cross road 
Junior.

	"Yeah. He must be unhappy." Amy said softly.

Serena nodded and they all watched as Jack retreated into the shadows
of the building.

	"The great fire tells me we will have new alliance in our
fight against teh new enemies!" Raye whispered through clenched teeth
as she concentrated her energy in the reading.

	"More SailorScouts?" Serena asked eagerly. They could do with
them.

Raye shook her head slowly as she struggle to understand the meaning
of the fire. "No. One person...Not a SaiorScout."

	"Who than?" Everyone was eager. They had gathered later on that
day at Cherry Hill Temple to discuss the sudden absence of the new
enemies.

	"I don't know. I can't see his face. but it's a guy. Probably
about our age." Raye was saying.

Amy was puzzled. "if it's not a Sailorscout, than who could it be? and 
how can he help? Does he know of our prescence?" she asked.

Again raye shook her head. "No. He doesn't know anything. And i still
can't figure out what kind of power he processes. He had not yet 
awakened to his power yet."

	"Is he from the moon kingdom?" Mina asked.

Raye shook her head. "I can't see anymore." She said and collapsed. But 
before her body hit the ground, she felt strong hands cradling her and 
found herself looking into Darien's sparkling blue eyes.

	"Darien-" she began.

	"Shhh...Come on, Rest." Darien said softly as he carried her 
off in the direction of her bedroom.

In the far off distance, she could hear the other girl's calling her
name, but Raye didn't care. She was in Darien's arms again, that was
all she'd ever wanted. Perhaps she and Darien had a chance afterall.
Perhaps.

	"Stay with me, Darien." She whispered softly.

Darien nodded slowly. "Sure." and as Darien gently placed on her bed,
she smiled and closed her eyes.

Twilight fell with a blazing splendor of color upon the slow waking of
another night. An icy breeze greeted her as Serena stepped out onto
the lawn outside Cherry Hill Temple. It was mid winter, and the weather
here was bitter cold. Serena had arrived just in time to see the last
remembrance of a beautiful sunset.  She watched as that too, faded and
gave way to the otherworldliness of a bittersweet night.  

She sighed, and sat down on teh doorstep of Raye's room. Darien had 
promised Raye that he'll be there when Raye wakes up and they had
both agreed to greet Raye when she wakes up, than leave together.

Everyone had gone home already and now even Chad and Raye's grandpa
was packing up, ending the day's work and any further prescence of
pretty girls.

	"Hey, Beautiful." It was Darien.

Serena turned around. "I thought you were staying with Raye." 

He shrugged. "She's not awake yet so i thought i'll come out and stay
with my princess for a while." 

	"Close your eyes." Darien suddenly instructed Serena. 
"And feel this." 

He reached into his pocket and drew out a small heart shaped box and 
handed it to Serena. Inside was a ring. It was a diamond ring, carved
delicately into the shape of a rose, set on a crescented base.
Teh ring sat boldly yet almost serenely the middle of teh box, it 
beautiful in every sense and perfect for his princess.

Serena gasped as she felt the heart shaped box in her hands; her 
lips trembled as she plucked the ring from teh slit in the box.
Opening her eyes, she turned and smiled at Darien. "Is it for me?" 

Darien smiled and kissed on softly on the lips. "Of course, Meatball
head." Than gathering his courage, he said. "i think it's time we 
let the whole world know that we're going to be engage." 

Serena's face broke off into a big smile and she threw her self 
at Darien, causing him to almost loose balance. "Oh DArien! you don't
know how long i've waited for this day!" And kissed him vigorously.

	"Believe Serena, i know. It's been a thousand years..." His
voice drifted off as he stared up at teh rising moon.

	"Darien!" Raye cried as soon as she woke up from her slumber. 
Where was he? "Darien?" 

There were the soft thuds of approaching footsteps and Darien was by 
herside. "Hi Raye. how are you feeling?"

Raye smiled up at him, than her smile disappeared as SErena came up 
from behind DArien. "Hi Serena-You're here too." she said softly.

Serena smiled. "Of course, You're my friend!" She wanted to tell RAye
immmediately on her and Darien's engagement. "Guess what Raye! Darien
and I are engaged!" 

Raye frozed. What? had she heard wrong? No. It was all too real to be 
a dream. She watched as Darien stood up and put an arm around Serena.

	"That's right RAye, Serena and I are engaged." he confirmed.

Why? Raye asked herself again and again. Why was i pulled out of my 
dream again, just before it was about to come true? 
Tears pricked the corner of Raye's eyes but she refused to let them
fall, that would have ruined everything. She forced a smile.

	"Congradulations."

More on Rini! Seiya may come back next chapter, and something big
is going to happen!!!!
