NOw guys, just a word of warning before you read this chapter. I am not
one that is good at writing fighting scenes as you may have noticed 
already. So please bear with me while i write a whole chapter of action.

Chapter 15

Turning around, Serena found herself facing the regal form of Victorilia. 

	"What are you doing here, Victorilia?" Serena said as calmly as she 
could manage. In the darkness of this moonless night, there was nothing 
Victorilia could not do to her.  

Serena took a step back as Victorilia attempted to advance towards her.

	"Yes, me. Princess Serenity of the moon." Victorilia whispered.

Serena looked deep into her opposition's eyes. "Why do you want me to die 
so much, Victorilia?" Unafraid now, she took a step forward, "Why can't
we be friends. Nothing will come out of fighting." 

Victorilia shook her head. "Save your innocent words and weak dreams for 
Elfanmion. I will not bow to such words." she spat.

Serena shook her head, bewildered and the confused. "but what is it that
i've done to make you hate me so much?" 

Victorilia laughed evilly. "You know why Serenity." her eyes glinted. "because
you were everything i was not." A ball of energy formed at the tips of her 
finger tip and Victorilia hurled the ball in Serena's direction.

	"No!" Serena screamed as she dodged out of the way. "Why Victorilia, i 
will die anyway?"

Victorilia shook her head. "I can't stand it. Do you understand, Serenity! 
I can't stand this hatred boiling inside me!" She screamed as she launched 
attacks after attacks at Serena's weak human form. There had been no time
and perhaps no strength too, for her to transform.

It'd been alright so far, Serena had been able to dodge every attack hurled towards 
her, but now as she landed on the ground besides a large apartment building, she
could no longer find the strength to launch herself out of the way any longer. 
Panting for breath and with the pain in her chest growing increasingly unbearable,
SErena could only watch as another ball of energy raced towards her.

It hit her with an great force and suddenly the throbbing pain in her chest
stopped and SErena found the breath sucked out of her as her lips formed one word
before darkness engulfed her.

	"Darien..."

	"Serena! No!" Darien screamed suddenly and gripped his head with his hands 
as an immense pain flooded his system. "Serena!"

	"Darien?" It was Jack. "What is it?" 

Darien shook his head. Serena! She was in danger, he could feel it in his heart. 
Please god, no! Let her be okay! He begged as he jumped from the Tsukino couch,
much to the surprise of Kent and Ilene and raced for the door.

	"Darien!" Jack called.

Darien turned around to face him. He knew it was no time to follow his heart now,
for the sake of Serena he must use his head. 

	"Call the others, Jack." He yelled. "We're going to need some help!" And with
that, Darien disappeared through the front door.

	"I'm coming Serena, I'm coming." he whispered.

Inside the Tsukino house hold. Kent and Ilene were frantic. 

	"What should we do?" Ilene cried as she watched her husband paced the floor.
"Oh god, please let our daughter be alright." she begged. Both Ilene and Kent
turned to Jack for advise. 

Jack looked back at them with fury in his eyes. "No one is going to get away with
hurting my sister." he said.

He turned to the Tsukinos "Call the senshi. We'll need their help to look for
Serena." he told them before running off after Darien to find the only family
he had in this world.

Watching as Jack disappeared after Darien to find their daughter, Kent turned
to look at his wife. "Will they win this one?" he wanted to know. But before
Ilene could answer or even attempt to put faith into an impossible question.

A voice answered for them. "Peace will prevail, have faith in them. My mother
always wins." 

It was Rini.

	"Guys. Serena's dad just called." Raye announced to Amy, Lita and Mina 
who had gathered at the temple to discuss a cure for the Alphise Crystal in
Serena's system.

Everyone looked at Raye, expecting her to go on. "Serena's missing. She hasn't 
arrived home after we separated at the skating rink."

Mina groaned aloud. "Oh no." 

Raye shook her head. "There's no time for that. We have to find her." she looked
down at her friends. "Come on. We have to transform."

MARS STAR POWER

JUPITER STAR POWER
VENUS STAR POWER

Another battle was beginning..

	"Suffer Serenity. Suffer just like i did." Victorilia screamed as she
blasted Serena repeatly.

	"NO! Stop!" Serena gasped as she was thrown against a wall. She had no
more strength to scream. Hanging on the edge of consciousness, Serena became
aware of approaching footsteps. "Help me." She whispered.

	"Leave her alone right now." A voice commanded. Serena shifted her head
slightly and found herself facing the silouette of three figures against the
pale moonlight. *It is the three senshis that helped us earlier." Serena realised
as she recognized the unique sailor uniforms on all three of the senshis.

	"Let her go." Fighter commanded as he faced the angry Victorilia. 
His two companions maker and healer stood at his side. Then wtihout taking his
eyes off their enemy, Fighter knelt by Serena's side.

	"Meatball head, are you alright?" he asked as he helped Serena up. 

Gasping in pain, Serena staggered to her feet. "It's you again." She said to the
warrior before her. Only than did she realize what an odd thing it was for a 
to call her *meatball head* So far, only three person in the world calls her 
that. Darien, Raye and...Seiya....The person infront of her was definately not
Darien or Raye, so that left only Seiya...

Serena looked carefully at the warrior before her. Those warm brown eyes...could
it possibly be Seiya? Serena shook her head. NO, Seiya couldn't be Sailor
star Fighter. She was kidding herself.

	"Thanks for saving me again." Serena said at last.

Victorilia laughed suddenly, breaking the tension between Serena and fighter. 

	"Well, well, well. It seems like we have more company." she said with a 
piercing stare in the direction of the three starlights and Serena.

She looked at Serena. "Don't think i'll let you live to see dawn Serenity." She said
as another ball of power gathered at her fingertips "Because i won't!"

Before SErena could react to the ball speeding towards her, Fighter had hurled
himself at her and now they were both rolling round and around on the ground
before a tree stopped any more rotations.

	"Meatball head! Are you hurt?" Fighter asked, ignoring his own 
injuries.

Serena nodded slowly. Her head turning round and round at *meatball head* That 
familiar sound seemed to have etched itself into Serena's mind. 

She nodded but her eyes remained puzzled "Who are you?" She shook her head in 
confusion "I feel as though i know you from somewhere." 

Fighter only smiled "I wish i could tell you." he said.

STAR GENTLE UTERUS An attack from Victorilia was blasted.

	"Watch it fighter, you almost got hit!" Maker called. He glared at Serena 
"Get away from the girl." Than he turned to Victorilia "Dare to challenge us?"

	"Come at me, all of you." Victorilia taunted. "You can't hurt me."

Healer laughed "We'll see about that." he said.

	"You'll be alright here." Fighter pushed Serena behind him and turned to 
face Victorilia. There was only one thing on his mind. To protect Serena. 

	"But-" Serena protested. She knew with dead certainty that the Starlights 
would not be able to defeat Victorilia alone. She wanted to help but knew also that
all would be lost if she revealed her identity as Sailormoon. Plus Serena was certain
the Alphise crystal pulsing through her system wasn't about to let her fight. So
Serena stepped aside and watched.

STAR SERIOUS LASER
STAR SENSITIVE INFERNO
STAR GENTLE UTERUS

One by one, the starlights unleashed their power but to no destruction as Victorilia
absorbed each of them with ease.

Maker shook his head as his attack too failed to harm Victorilia. He looked around
him.

	"Where are those senshis from earth when we need them." He exclaimed.

	"They'll come." Serena said. "They'll come and save the day like they
always do." She winced as a jolt of pain shot through her body. Taking
her chance, Victorilia launched another series of attack at Serena.

	"You'll never win me, princess Serenity. Never!" She screamed.

	"No!" Fighter cried as an attack struck Serena square in the chest.

	"Fighter! Come back!" Healer and Maker cried as they watched their companion 
race towards the girl that had caused them so much trouble.

	"She's only a human!" Fighter cried back as he threw his body forward to 
cover SErena. "She can't protect herself."

	"For a human girl. Fighter, it is not worth it. Our job is to find the 
princess." Fighter heard his friends yell at him as Victorilia's attack slammed into 
his back.

	"No..." Serena whispered. Too weaken by pain to push Fighter away. She stared
into his deep brown eyes, that mischievous twinkle and the darkness in his hair
and knew that she could not be wrong.

	"No...Seiya.." She whispered. "It is not worth it." 

Before Fighter could reply though, a bolt of thunder lit the air.

JUPITER LIGHTING CRASH

The senshis had arrived.

	"Oh. The whole family is here to protect our little princess Serenity." 
Victorilia smiled at the newcomers.

Fighter was confused. He looked at Serena "What is she talking about?" he asked.

Serena shook her head "I wish i could tell you." She said, repeating his words.

The inner senshis ran towards her. "Are you aright, Serena?" Mercury cried as Serena 
sank thankfully her arms.

Serena nodded. "Just a little tired." She said. 

Mars turned to the starlights "Thanks for protecting her for us." She said and 
gave a small smile to indicate alliance.

The starlights were a little puzzled by Mar's words but never questioned the fact
that Serena may be Sailormoon. That and the fact that they could not
bring themselves to believe that these five extraordinary girls were the same
people who was risking their lives to protect Earth. 

Jupiter and Venus turned to the observing Victorilia. "Why can you not leave us
alone?" Jupiter cried.

Victorilia smiled. "Our little princess here asked me the same question." She 
said. Her eyes glowed. "Because i hate her! because i don't want to see the 
longing in Elfanmion's eyes. You have contaminated his heart enough!" she said.

	"Because you feel love in your heart?" venus asked.

Victorilia was taken back by Venus's words "I don't love him." She whispered and
yet her eyes remained unsure of her words.

Now Serena stepped forward. "You are deceiving yourself Victorilia." She said 
"Listen to your heart. It will not lie to you."

Victorilia laughed "I do not love, Serenity. Only humans can fall under such
weak emotions." She cried. Her gaze pierced into Serena's eyes "Like you."

Serena shook her head "Love is universal." She said simply.

	"Stop!" Victorilia screamed and clutched her head i her hands. "Stop
saying these lies!" The simple sound of Serena's words were overwhelming
her heart. What was that love they speak of? Surely, she did not love
Elfanmion. 

Serena shook her head. "You are hurting, Victorilia because you know what i'm 
saying is true. Because you do love Elfanmion. Those years of loniness together
grew into something even you cannot utter. You're hurting because you're
in love!" her voice growing increasingly emotional with each word.

	"No!" Victorilia screamed in rage. She held out her hands and a burst of
dark energy shot from her fingers and went for Serena.

Suddenly, out of no where another burst of energy challenged Victorilia's and for
a moment, all one could see was two beams of blinding light. When Serena dared
to open her eyes again, she found a struggling Elfanmion beside her.

	"I will not let you hurt her, Victorilia." he said as Victorilia's
power continued to overwhelm him.

NO! Serena wanted to scream. This was twice in one day already. Already Seiya
had gotten hurt because of her, she didn't want Elfanmion hurt as well. 

	"Argh." Elfanmion cried as Victorilia's energy slammed into his chest 
and he fell into Serena's arms.

	"No! Elfanmion!" Victorilia and Serena both screamed as the blast
hit him. 

Serena shook her head. No. God, No. The night seemed to stretch on longer
than ever. She looked up simultaneously at the glowing moon above her. *Please,
don't let anyone else get hurt because of me*

	"It was wrong, Elfanmion. You shouldn't have done that." Serena whispered.

Painfully and slowly, Elfanmion opened his eyes. "I couldn't let you get hurt."
he said. 

Victorilia was both outraged and hurt "Why Elfanmion? For her?" And just maybe, 
there were the hint of tears in her eyes as she watched her companion of 1000
years lying in the arms of her enemy.

	"You can't hurt her Victorilia." He said and the three starlights listened 
in astonishment at his next words "She is Sailormoon and this is my planet,  Earth
would wither and die without her protection..." he said and closed his eyes. 

	"Elfanmion!" Serena screamed, shaking his body in her arms. "Elfanmion!" 

Victorilia pushed Serena aside and hugged Elfanmion to her chest "You killed him!"
she screamed as tears fell from her rarely wet eyes. 

	"Sailormoon?" Fighter gasped, he looked down at Serena who was looking
back at him with pain in her eyes. "You are Sailormoon?"

To a corner, the three starlights watched in amazement as they each realized
The senshis were. Even though they have not been to this planet for long, they
Had read bout he five young senshis who had fight to protect Japan and all
It's inhabitants. And now, standing before them were the five senshis and
It was only than did they realize that these five warriors were only five girls
Who wanted an ordinary life. 

Slowly Serena nodded. "I'm sorry Seiya." The truth was finally out. Now what
would happen next? She looked around her, at the scene that was unfolding 
before her eyes. 

When Elfanmion had jumped out and shielded her from that blast, she'd thought
it was Tuxedo mask. how he would always come and protect her if she was in trouble.
And now....now he didn't love her anymore and if he didn't love her, what else
were there to live for? When he'd said those hurtful words to her, her heart died
and nothing, absolutely nothing would bring it back.

She turned to Victorilia "Enough Victorilia." Serena said. "You've done enough
tonight already." She looked around at her friends. When had Serena Tsukino
ever lost the will to live? She asked herself. This was not her and yet, there
was nothing else she could do. Because of her, there were 7 lives in danger,
she couldn't live and let her friends die.

	"If you promise to spare my friends." Serena closed her eyes "Than take
me."

	"NO!" All the senshis screamed; they rushed forward to their princess
but Serena stopped them with her hands.

	"Stay where you are guys." She turned away from them so that they could
not see her tears. "Learn to live withou-" her words were cut off by yet another
sound.

	"Serena!" 

	"Don't do it sis!" 

Tuxedo Mask and Jack. They were here at last and now as Tuxedo Mask absorbed the urgency of
the scene, his heart lurched. Serena was in danger and that alone was all he 
could think of.

He turned to Victorilia "LET HER GO!" Tuxedo Mask bellowed, too concerned for Serena's
safety to think of anything else. "If you dare do anything to her, Victorilia." He
shouted. "Than i'-"

Victorilia challenged him. "What will you do, Endymion? You cannot even protect
the one you love." she said, her eyes boring into his.

Tuxedo Mask did not waver. "I will not make the same mistake again, Victorilia."

Silently, Rini crept down the stairs of the Tsukino household and headed for the
front door. Upstairs, she could still hear Kent and Ilene's subdued whispers
as they discussed their concerns of Serena.

	"My god, Kent. She's still not back yet." Rini heard Ilene say. She heard
sobbing from the room and knew how much her grandparents cared about her mother.

	"She'll be okay. The others will protect her." Kent said, as he tried
his best to comfort his wife.

	"God bless those children." 

Downstairs, Rini smiled. She was older now and more mature and there was nothing
she wouldn't do to support her mother. She could feel it in her heart, that
somehow her presence could mean the ending of a battle and the beginning of
a new era.

Serena turned to look at Tuxedo Mask "I didn't think you would come." She still
stood between Victorilia and the others. 

Tuxedo Mask shook his head. "You know i would never leave you." 

A smile touched Serena's face. "I-I love you Darien." she whispered before facing
Victorilia again.

	"No! Serena!" Tuxedo Mask yelled. He was not going to let her hurt herself
again, his heart would not afford it. No, there was no way he would allow that
evil woman touch a single hair on his lover's head. He would not let that happen-
even at the cost of his own life...

Stepping out quickly, he grabbed Serena by the hands and stepped infront of her 
to face Victorilia.

	"If you must kill someone." Tuxedo Mask said. "Than kill me. Leave her
alone."


End of chapter 15----------------------------------------------------------------

Next chapter is the last chapter of the Sailormoon Universal F!  So in that chapter
i will conclude everything. Or perhaps there will be a epilogue. I don't know
but be there!

Phew! That was one hard chapter for me to write. Purely on the fact that i suck
at writing action scenes so please, please, please bear with me. I know it's bad.
