made a mistake in my previous chapters. Mina doesn't go to a different
school, she just has a different lunch period. Ok now you can read!

Chapter Eight
Remember Me Always

Chapter 8

?Hmmm...Luna? What time is it?? Serena asked on Monday morning. Luna
only stared at her. ?Oh give it up he's sleeping and he can't hear you!?

?7:35.? She whispered.
?Luna! School doesn't start for an hour! Wake me up at eight!?
?Serena it you don't get up I'll make it so you mother doesn't recognize
you!? A flash of her teeth and nails made Serena reluctantly rise out of
bed.
Luna then went about waking Io. However she didn't realize how deep Io
was in his dream because when she began to paw lightly at his foot he
kicked her clear across the room. It was her yelp that woke him. He
rubbed his eyes and searched for whatever had made the noise. ?Oh Luna
I'm so sorry.? He said as he picked up the cat. He petted her and she
purred in reaction. ?Can I tell you something? I really like Lita. I
mean she has an awesome personality, she's really beautiful, and boy can
she dance!?
Then he paused, looked at Luna and said, ?O can't believe I'm talking to
a cat!? Luna hissed and jumped of his lap immediately after his comment.
?It was almost like she understood me or something.? Serena walked in
after about five minutes. She was already dressed for school.
?Oh good, you're up. I'm gonna get some breakfast. The uniform the
school sent is in that box over there. Meat me down stairs ok??
?Sure thing.?

By eight, Io and Serena were at Lita's. They took an elevator to her
floor and knocked. Ganymede opened the door. ?Hey Serena, Io! Come in.
Lita is in the kitchen making are lunches.?
?I think I'll go say hi.? Io said quickly. He came in and Lita?s back
was turned. Just the he got an idea. He crept up to her slowly and when
he was only a foot away he grabbed her around the waist. However, since
Lita is trained in combat, she yanked his arm off of her and twisted it
behind his back.
?Lita it's me, Io!?
 She let go immediately. ?I'm so sorry Io. I was acting on instinct. Ken
and I take all kinds of hand to hand combat classes. I didn't realize it
was you when I heard the door. I thought it was Ken. He would do
something like that.?
?Well I'll forgive you on one condition.?
?Anything.?
?A hug?? He said shyly.
?Of course.? Said she. Their hug was cut short be the sound of Serena
clearing her throat.
The foursome walked to Amy's house clad in Juban High School uniforms.
They made it to Amy's house with only a little time to spare so Greg,
whom was there to borrow some books, offered to give everyone a ride.
 They reached to school and just barely missed the first bell. The gang
split up into four groups. Serena went with Io, Lita with Ganymede, Amy
with Europa, and Greg by himself. They reunited at lunch under their oak
tree as usual. Mina was there also because the lunch periods were merged
for the new students.
?I finally get to eat lunch with you guys!? said Mina as she approached
the now larger group of people for lunch. Who's your friend Amy??
?This is Europa. My exchange student from France.?
?Enchante, Je m?applle Mina.?
?Enchante. Parlez-vous francais??
?Oui. J?etudi avec mon pere.?
?Translation?? asked a confused Serena.
?Europa asked me if I spoke French and I told he that I study with my
dad.? She said, sitting down.
?I didn't know you spoke French.? Serena said, with a questioning look
on her face.
?Well my dad wants me to be fluent by the time he takes me to Leon with
his girlfriend, Monique. She was born in Nice. She really makes me sick.
She can always find a way to get under my skin and crawl around for a
while.?
?Sorry to hear that.? Europa said to Mina. Just then the Melvin
approached the group with news of a meeting in the lecture hall for all
exchanges program participants.
?We get to get out of class ten minute early!? He said before he left.
?Cool I get to get out of English!? Serena said happily.

After lunch there were only two periods left. Lita, Ganymede, Io and
Serena all had English last period. The found for seats in the back to
sit at. They passed notes and joked all during class. ?Serena Io,
Ganymede, and Lita, please approach my desk.? Said Mr. Terri.
Io whispered, ?Busted? to the rest of the girls as they made their way
to the front of the class.
?I believe you student are in the exchange students program so you are
dismissed for the assembly. Your homework is on the agenda sheets I
passed out earlier.?
He said and the he returned to the class.
The four students walked out of the classroom with huge smiles and they
broke into laughter once they were in the hallway. They continued
walking to the lecture hall where they found seats with Molly and her
exchange student, Christopher, from Germany.

?Good afternoon students. I would like to welcome all the exchange
students and invite you all to a trip to the beach. We leave next week
Friday in the morning a 5 and return Sunday night. There are forms on
the back table there. Any questions can be asked now.? There were no
questions so the meeting was over.
Greg had to get home immediately so he couldn't give everyone a ride
home. On the walk home Serena asked Amy if she was going to the beach.
?Well I don't know if you want to, Euri?
?I'll go if Callisto goes.?
?Well why don't we all catch the bus over to Rei?s and find out?? Serena
suggested.
?I can't, I have to get home and clean!? Lita said quickly. ?But you can
go if you want Gany.?
?I will then. You coming Io??
?Nah. Maybe I can be of some use to you Lita??
?Sure.? Lita said happily. So the group split up Serena, Amy, Ganymede,
and Europa went across the street to catch the next bus; and Ken walked
Lita home.?

Io and Lita reached her building and took an elevator the right floor.
When they got in the apartment Lita told Io that she didn't have any
cleaning to do and that she just wanted to come home. ?Then do you want
me to leave?? he asked a little hesitantly.
?Oh, no. I made some cookies and I just didn't want Serena to pig out on
them. I kind of made them for you. Um, since you haven't tried any of my
cooking.? Lita stumbled for the right words but I just smiled and said,
?Thank you. That was really sweet. You want to watch dome TV while we
eat these??
?Sure. I rented some movies last night we can watch those.?  Io sat down
on the coach with the cookies while Lita put a tape in the VCR. By the
middle of the movie Io had his arm around Lita?s waist and I she was
resting he head on his shoulder.
