"Are you going to tell her?" asked Rei, touched by Darien's word. She
sensed that he really did love Serena, not just because of Destiny.
"I'm not sure...she wouldn't understand..."
"I'm sure she would...if you want, I can tell her for you,"offered
Rei.
"Thanks,"smiled Darien weakly.

At Rei's temple...
"Hey meat......"Rei paused, when she saw Serena's face, eyes swollen
from crying,
"What's the matter Serena?"
"Darien...the creep...is Tuxedo mask..." she sobbed.
"Serena! you have to listen to me!"Rei reasoned, "Darien is a nice
guy..."
"Oh no he isn't!"she butted in, "he's been teasing and laughing at
me and calling me meatball head and......"
"He loves you!" Rei practically shouted.
"He doesn't!" whispered Serena, "if he did, he wouldn't say he
didn't love me before."
"He told me last night at the battlefield that he did. And he also said
something about
Queen Serenity and Destiny."
"Destiny?!" yelled Serena, "no wonder... he only loves me because of
our destiny."
"Oops,"thought Rei guiltily, "wrong move... majorly wrong move."
"He does," argued Rei, "and I know it... I sensed that he did...or
does"
"What would you know?!" Serena whined, running out of the room.
"Serena! wait!" Rei yelled as she ran after her.

"Aarrgghh!" someone yelled, "Monster!!"
"Oh no, the negaverse!"
"Moon Crystal Power!"
"Mars Power!"
"Zoisite!"the two scouts said in unison.
"Welcome, Sailor scum, meet my friend..."Zoisite said, gesturing to a
tree like monster.
"Finish them off!"
"Yes master... now you die!"croaked the monster.
The monster sent a sharp, root-like arm shooting towards Sailormoon.
"I don't care..."cried Sailormoon, as the root was shooting towards
her, "there's nothing to live for anyway."
"Noooo!" screamed Mars from one side, knowing that she could not do
anything.
Just then, a black masked figure wearing a tuxedo and a flowing cape jumped
in front of Sailormoon. The roots hit tuxedo mask and he landed in both pain
and agony onto Sailormoon.
"Tuxedo Mask!" Sailormoon cried, tears flowing down her face, "I'm
so sorry..."
"I've always loved you... meat-meatball head," Tuxedo Mask aka Darien
said weakly, "from the beginning... not because of our destiny...and I
will, forever, my princess"

          Give me a moment before you go
        There's something you ought to know

"Darien, oh Darien!" Serena/Sailormoon cried into his chest, "I
didn't know..."
"It's alright..."Darien smiled weakly, "as long as you know...that I
will love you...until
the time is through"

"He's mine now!" laughed Zoisite, producing a large bubble and with a
cry, sent it
landing and encasing Tuxedo Mask.
"No no...Darien don't go..!" sobbed Sailormoon, falling to her knees,
"Darien,
don't!!"

                 Now and forever
    Until the time is through I'll be standing here
       Waiting and never give up my faith in you
             Trying to make it clear
         Without your love I'll be half a man
   Maybe one day you will understand now and forever
            Until the time is through
                 I'll be waiting

"Darien!" Serena wailed, tears of heartbreak streaming down her face,
"I love you! Please don't go.."
The words pierce both Zoisite's evil heart and the bubble. Darien landed
with a thump on the ground near Serena.
"Darien...."

        Now can I tell you so that you can see
                 Love has a meaning
             When you are here with me

Parts of Serena's life flashed in front of her eyes. Darien teasing her
and calling her ‘Meatball head', Serena chucking shoes and test papers
at him, Darien comforting her when she was upset, the day at the park...
"Oh Darien," cried Serena, her heart shattering into a million pieces,
"I love you...don't die! Darien please don't die!"

              There is no one to comfort me
                 Here in my cold reality
                 I'm searching for words
              What can I say to make you see

Just then, all of the scouts arrived at the scene.
"Oh Sailormoon," Lita said, shocked, staring at Darien's crumpled body
"what happened?"
"It doesn't matter what happened, we have to get him to a hospital,"
reasoned Amy.

"Doctor!" asked Serena desperately, just as the doctor came out of the
ER "how ishe?!"
"Um...we can't say for sure if he can survive...but he's young and
strong...so I guess he should survive."
"Oh no......Darien" choked Serena.
"Oh by the way," asked the doctor, "how did he get those wounds?"
"Um...... he fell off his motorcycle." lied Lita uneasily.
"Oh"

"Lets go home,"Luna said to Serena.
"No, I want to stay here, with Darien"
"They won't let you see him anyway."
"I want to just in case he wakes up."
"They'll ring if he does."
"But..."
"No buts... come on!"

BRING BRING

"Who could it be,"yawned Serena, "so early!"
"Hello?"
"Miss Tsukino? This is the Tokyo District Hospital and Mr. Chiba refuses
to have medical attention without seeing you."
"He's awake?" squealed Serena happily.
"Yes,"replied the nurse, "Can you please come quickly."

"Hi Meatball head," teased Darien, sitting upright in his hospital bed.
"Oh Darien!" she squealed, hugging him.
"Can't live without me huh?"
"I'm so sorry about last night..."
"It's ok Serena...as long as you love me."
"Who said I did?" she teased gently.
"Well if ya don't... I understand," he wiped a tear from his blue
eyes.
"Just kidding silly,"she said, kissing him, "I'll love you
forever"
"And I will love you, forever and ever, my princess."

They shared a kiss, just like in their dreams.
