Title: A Match Made In Heaven Part: Epilogue Rating: PG Author: Angel Erika E-mail: Erika515@aol.com AN: Hi-o! This is the last part of this story...you guys gonna miss me? *lol* don't worry, I'll be back with more stories! :) Enjoy! Disclaimer: I think after 8 chapters and this, you'd know already that Sailormoon doesn't belong to me... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- A young couple meandered through the park, happily holding hands. From the first glance, you'd think they wouldn't be able to stand each other, given they were complete opposites, the short blonde and the tall dark-haired young man. But have you ever heard of the saying "opposites attract"? Well, in this case, they didn't at the beginning, but they grew to know each other much better and enjoy each other's company. "Hey, look, there's Josh," Serena said, looking over at a bench overlooking the (AN: famous) lake (AN: I've used so many times). "I'm going to say something to him..." "You sure about that?" "Yeah...well, he didn't show up at the dance..." "Alright, do you want me to go with you...?" "No, that's okay, just stay here." she walked over to the bench and sat beside Josh. "Hi," she said. He turned his head in surprise to look at her, and she gasped, "What happened?" Josh reached up to tounch the bruise around his eye, "Well, let's just say that friend of yours, Lita, has a really good arm." he laughed quietly. "She actually hit you?!" "I can't say I didn't deserve it. "No, you don't deserve it, and she shouldn't have hit you. And I'm just so really sor-" "No, Serena, it really is okay. I've taken harder blows before, this will be gone in a week...it doesn't even hurt." he said. "And, yeah, I DO deserve it...in fact, I think she should have done more than sock me in the face. Serena, I screamed at myself a million times for saying all those bad things to you. I hope you know that I was just...making things up. I think my pride got to me." He smiled faintly. She did too. "And..." he added, "I'm sorry. For kissing Julia, who I don't even like, mind you." "But if you don't like her...howcome you were making out with her?" "Well...I don't really know...it just kind of happened. She just sat by me, and she made the first move by the way." he said. "Anyway, don't worry about it. It's completely over...and I take it you and I are too, huh?" "Yeah..." "Well, I heard about that Darien guy from the dance. He was the same person from the arcade, wasn't he?" he said it more like a statement rather then a question. "Well, that's okay. I hope he treats you like how you're supposed to be treated." "Oh Josh..." Josh looked down at his watch, shocked at the time, he said, "Oh jeez, I told the guys I'd be there by three...Hey listen, Serena, I've really got to go now, okay? See you at school?" "Yeah..see you at school," she gave him a hug and whispered, "I'm sorry, too. For yelling at you. Really sorry." he gave her a smile and walked off. ~*~ Serena walked back to where Darien was leaning against a tree, and said to him, "Darien..." "Yes?" "I just wanted to say thank you..." "What for?" "...For everything...absolutely everything." Ready to be swept into Darien's chocolate kisses, Serena leaned back slightly, but as she did, a person bumped into her, and he quickly grabbed her by the waist before she hit the cement. (An: I'm sorry! I just *had* to do it one more time!!) "Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there! I'm so clumsy, I tripped over my own two feet." Rika apologized, smiling. She immediately recognized the couple standing before her and nearly beamed. "Oh! You're Darien, right? And you're Serena!" "Y-" they started, but Rika cut them off. "Darien, you are so sweet! Nobody ever had the guts to do that before! Believe me, I've seen other guys end up with girls they didn't particularly like either, but none of them spoke up! Anyhoo, you guys make the cutest couple! I would have gladly kicked Julia off the stage, but that wouldn't have been a very good choice. So we let you go to be your merry little selves about there, whatever you were doing, wink wink!" "T-" "Oh, and don't mind me! I'm just on a real sugar high right now and that explains the excessive and fast talking!" Rita said apologetically, but not losing her "hyperness." "Anyhoo, Serena! You've got the best guy in the whole world, did you know that? Oh my, you better hang on to him! He's a good catch! How'd you guys meet anyway?" Taking a deep breath, Rika looked down at her watch, and without letting the couple tell their story, she said, "Oh my! I've got to get going now! I promised my aunt I'd be at work early today! I'm sorry, it was nice talking to you though! Drop by the nusing home some time and you can tell me all about how you guys met and all that other junk, and maybe I'll even write a story about it! I've even got a title! 'A Match Made in Heaven'! What do you think? I was born a hopeless romatic! Anyways, I gotta run, Bye!" and with that, she walked briskly and turned the corner. "Okay..? The old people will have fun with her, won't they?" Darien said jokingly. "Now..where were we?" Serena turned around in his arms and gladly inched her face towards his and...........(AN: Hmm...should I do it again? ^_~)........ they kissed. They kissed a heavenly kiss. One that could shatter the earth and make the sky fall down and seas roar and the mountains crumble. Yet...they was also tranquility...and the notes of a song echoed in their hearts...their hearts whose rhythms were the same "I can feel the magic floating in the air....being with you gets me that...way...." ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh deary deary!! I finished!!! This calls for a celebration!! *opens a can of root beer* Okay...I guess I'll party by myself then! So...how did you guys like it?
