Hi! Thanks to all the people who had written to me about my story.
Hope you enjoy my story so far. This is another slow chapter in
showing some new and old relationships?

Partings Ch9

It seemed like time had stood still for a moment when Serena turned
around and saw Darien sitting at a table with 3 of her senshi looking
at them. Shocked and willing herself not to show any emotion of
recognition Serena turned back and focused her attention on her
daughter trying to ignore the people that she once knew as her
younger-self. Holding the bouquet of roses her daughter had given
her, Serena smiled and kissed her daughter on the forehead thanking
her for it. Looking at the guardians she smiled as she saw their human
fa硤e for the first time in centuries, "You all do look the same the last
time I saw you without a speck of change. Now what were you all
thinking of bringing out Serrie without me?" Serena said wryly. "Well it
like this?." Said Alden a tad flustered. "We wanted to look around so
we brought along Serrie and got these roses for you. Afterwards we were
to go to the arcade and play with the Sailor V game before you show up.
Now how was the meeting and what happened to your eyes my dear?"
Albert cutted in smoothly before Alden could finish. "The meeting went
on very well and I tell you about my eyes later. Well now if you already
made plans I shall accompany you all since I too would like to walk
around. But better hurry up before the day grows too late with the time
you are all taking to eat."

Darien and the others had noted the entrance of the women. She was
an elegant; fashionable type but what gnawed at Darien conscience was
that he felt a somewhat familiar presence from the women and what
surprised him was that the child they were looking at greeted the women
as Mama. Somewhat perturbed he continues looking at them oblivious
to the whispering senshi around him. And when the women had turned
around he felt an invisible jolting reaction throughout his body. She was
a lovely vision her face young, but with silver hair and green eyes. But his
heart remembered his Serena. Ashamed at himself Darien forced himself
to think of his own beloved whom he loved with his whole heart and which
he would never betray. And even if Serena didn't appear this year he swore
that he would wait his whole life for her if he even had to?.

The senshi had been looking at the lady wondering who she was when
Mina suddenly remembered an article she had once seen. Whispering to
the others rapidly Mina said, "I know who this women is. She is the owner
and creator of "Serenity". As the other 2 looked at her with blank looks on
their face. Mina said, "The clothing line." As Allison and Lita continue to
stare, Mina turned towered Lita and said, "Why Lita I am surprised at you
for forgetting so fast, what of that green dress we had just brought for
50,000 yens?" Lita remembered as soon as Mina referred to her dress
and got starry-eyed mooning over her new lovely dress. Exasperated
Mina started shaking Lita saying, "I don't even believe this here we are
adults and still this girl acts like a teenager. Hey Jupiter to Lita!" After
a
few minutes of calming down Lita, Mina continue whispering to her friends,
"Her name is Selene and she is a new rising head in the fashion world.
Many of her designs are famous and based on a theme of the planets.
Her aunt was once the world famous model Willow Yushigi. However Ms.
Yushigi died last winter of a stroke. Imagine that Selene would ever come
here. That is a surprise."  Allison and Lita gapped at her and finally Lita
s
aid quite loudly, "Mina where have you learned all this? You hardly pick
up a book to read." "I read it in the newspaper and it's not like I don't
read
anything." Replied Mina miffed at what Lita said. Allie who had been quiet
turned over to Darien who had his face buried in his hands. Worried she
asked, "Sir is there anything wrong?"  Looking up Darien smiled with a
strained look and said, "Nothing is wrong Allison. Don't worry."

Serrie had quickly finished her ice cream while Serena had a coffee.
And as they were leaving Serena made one decision. Walking over to
Darien's table she went up to Mina and asked, "Are you Mina Aino, one
of Tokyo's cover models?" When Mina said, "Yes" Serena introducing her
new self continue, "I am sure you have heard of my fashion line Serenity.
I am in need of a fresh yet familiar face to start my in Tokyo line of
models.
Can you agree to take an interview with me? I am offering a job for you that
I am sure that will work out fine." Mina surprised at this offer quickly
agreed
and Serena smiled giving Mina her card telling her to meet her at 1:00
tomorrow at the place she had indicated. Which was the building Aunt
Willow had left her. During the months of preparing and moving Serena
had started to commission and remodel the building. It had just been
finished in decorating however the building will not be available to the
public for another few months. She needed to start hiring people. It was
a six floored large building and Serena intended to have 6th &5thfloor as
her own offices. 4th was a place to be her art gallery. The 3rd where there
will be her fashion line businesses, and most the importantly on the 2nd,
1st and basement level to a place where there will be a health spa, gym
and nursery. It was to be a modern complexity building, one that will show
the world that Selene besides being a fashion designer, she was also a
businesswomen and secretly as a fighter for peace. Afterwards Serena left
with the senshi and Darien staring after her.

Walking down the streets where she had grown up brought back floods of
memories for Serena. Nothing had really changed much except for a few
new stores. The Crown Arcade was there still with its sliding doors. Andrew
 didn't work there now but the Sailor V game was still there. Serena taught
her daughter how to play the basics and as Serrie got the concept of the
game she was playing it with the same enthusiasm Serena herself had once
shown. Leaving Serrie with her 3 guardians Serena walked towards the racing
car game where she had met Corrine and Nerrisa. It was then at that moment
she saw them. Corrine and Nerrisa; Uranus and Neptune, Partners Always.
The scene looked the same with Corrine sitting in the seat racing the game
and Nerrisa standing nearby. They looked older but nothing much had change
about their features just as the same as with Lita, and Mina. Allison looked
nearly like she was when she was Mistress 9. Of all the outer senshi Uranus
had been the most protective toward her. But she was also the 1st to ignore
her when she had needed their trust. Hardening her heart Serena walked
toward them.

Corrine and Nerrisa had been having a quiet day deciding to go to the Crown
Arcade where they would hang around for a while like they had used to when
they were Mugen Gakuen students. Days like this to them were hard to come
by now with their own jobs and obligations. Now with everything over for a
while Corrine and Nerrisa wanted to relax for a while. Corrine had been
playing the
racing machine for a while beating the machine as usual with Nerrisa nearby
when they heard a voice said, "May I challenge you in playing this game?"
Surprised for nobody had challenge her now for a long time Corrine looked up
and saw a women younger then her with silver hair and green eyes that were l
ooking calmly at her. Smirking Corrine replied, "Of course you can." Smiling
bemusedly she sat down next to Corrine and inserted in a yen. Nerrisa had
looked at them with an indifferent face. The game started with both players
relaxed. Corrine was confident in her ability to win and decidedly as she
did
with Mina and Serena 10 years ago let her had a headstart.

Inwardly Serena had a smile as she went off on a start. She had known
Corrine's trick for letting her let down her guard of relaxation years ago.
So
when Corrine gave her the lead. Serena was determined to stay ahead of her
Soldier of the Skies. As the tactic of Serena got caught on with Corrine did
the racing turned serious. In the end when the race was over to Corrine and
Nerrisa's shock. The strange women won the race. No one had ever won
Corrine in this game and when she turned toward the strange women to issue
a re-challenge did she hear a voice and found the seat next to her empty.
Looking over to the other side did Corrine find the women who had beated her
with several other people. Walking over with Nerrisa, Corrine approached the
women who had beated her in the game. Introducing herself she said to the
women, "This is the 1st time this had happen to me and I would want a
re-match. It has been a while I had found a person worthy enough to be an
opponent of mine. It would be my great honor." The women replied "It would
have been fine any day but now I have businesses to attend to. My family and
I have to go. I am sorry but another day would be fine. If you ever want to
race
again you can see me at this card." Handing her business card to Corrine,
Serena left with Serrie.

Amy had been walking down the street and reading a book when she knocked
into a figure. Looking up Amy realized with a shock of whom she knocked
into.
The figure then said, "Hello Amy." Amy then said with a small smile replied,
"Hello Tim."

The sun was setting when Serena and the others went home. Serrie had
fallen asleep on Albert's shoulder in Serena's car and the rest of the
Guards
 were home by the time they reach the mansion. While they stood gapping
at the Guardians appearances Serena went to tuck Serrie in. When she came
out of the bedroom the guardians were all gathered around waiting for her
like
they did every evening for a meeting. Serena then said, "If you want to ask
about my eyes then I will tell you the reason of me changing my eye color.
It
is to fool the people around us. My face features didn't change much during
the years and I am afraid of people recognizing me so I change my eyes to
match Serrie. She already looks a lot like me when I was a child so it
wouldn't arouse suspicions on my part as her mother and not as Serena
Tuskino.
Now that case is settled I want you all to know on what my plans are to
observing the senshi my Moon Blade has a life force of its own so it would
react when something is not right. This also means that it could sense when
a strange monster or energy is near. Now all I have to do is figure out how
to
contact you all when the enemy appears. We would have a way to
communicate to each other." "Don't worry." Spoke up Alden "All of you can
communication through your weapons. Now all you need to do is this?."
The meeting went onto later in the night.

The next day started, Serena ran an ad in the newspaper for a photographer
and other jobs that available that were needed in the building. Talon having
the day off decided to help out in interviewing people while Serena busied
herself overseeing things in the building and interviewing models. Serrie
was
in the care of the 3 guardians at home and the rest of the Guards were at
work.

Seraphina had been walking around with nothing to do besides thinking when
 she happened across an article in the newspaper hiring for photographers.
It
was to be working as a fashion photographer in a new building at a district
call Juuban. Smiling she went and applied for the job knowing that would
maybe help her in investigating for the princess

So far Talon had been successful in hiring people for jobs around the
building
but was unsuccessful with finding a photographer for Serena until he saw an
application for the role of photographer. Looking at the application Talon
saw
the name of the applicator as a Sarah Whittle.

When Seraphina arrived at the place where she was to be interviewed a
secretary showed her to someone called Talon Sanders. He was an
exceptionally handsome man but somehow Seraphina had the nagging
feeling that she had known this man before. Answering all the questions
with some tinge of honesty Seraphina smiled with glee inside as she was
hired to be a photographer. Her boss was to be a woman called Selene.
Afterwards when she left and went to the apartment she calls home now
Seraphina thought, "Should a time arose of importance I will take it upon
myself to wreak havoc on the people here It would be good for luring and
somehow getting rid of the senshi. Gannon would love it if they die. They
were always taking care of that princess even during the Silver Millennium.
I doubt if they could even remember me when they have already reincarnated.
Of course when the mass destruction of the Silver Millennium occurred I was
already in a safe place sleeping. Why should I be taken into the time stream
and made to forget by that Pluto is beyond me. It was a good decision to
take
the advice of that Metallia women before she got sealed away."

After Sarah Whittle had left Talon though to himself. "That new photographer
is
quite pretty, wonder if she is single. Princess didn't say anything about
wanting
to date a person. Yet somehow it feels like I have known her before. Must be
the purple hair I had always had liked the color." Smiling Talon picked up
the
phone
to tell Serena the good news.

Author's Note
-I am not sure what the rate of currency is now in Japan compared to ours or
how much an expensive dress is there so I made the dress Lita had brought
50,000 yen. I think it is consider a large amount. Correct me if I am wrong.
-Also I have never heard Saturn called Darien. Considering their ages she a
student and him an older man. I decided to write down, as respectfully a
younger person would call an older someone.
-As of Serena's building let's say it is the size of New York City Macys's
dept.
store.
-I think that is how they spell the Infinite Academy in Japanese.
-Serena's right now 25 and she had met Corrine and Nerrisa when she was
14-15 years old.
-Gannon and Seraphina had been in deep hibernation escaping the destruction
of the Silver Millenium.
