This is my first fanfic. My name's Bunny, not Helen. Helen is not me. All comments critism, flames, praises, and love letters send to bunnyannla@geocities.com. Visit my web page, I might actually put this up there along with one I'm working on, it's at http://www.angelfire.com/mn/BunnyAnnla/index.html BTW it also has info on a manga (Japanese-style comic) I draw. Sailor Bunny By Bunny Annla "Race ya home!" Makoto shouted, too quickly for any one to hear, as she raced off. A cloud of dust and a confused Usagi were left behind. 'What did she say?' Usagi thought, as she walked home. She slowly walked down the streets admiring the autumn leaves. The leaves reminded her of the fall when she chased off some kids who were beating up a black cat. Oh the good old days, she thought as she slowly walked home. She was almost home when she heard a noise; a sound of muffled crying, it was coming from a telephone booth. Usagi chuckled to her self for a half a second; she was remembering when she was crying in a phone booth. She walked over to it and knocked. " You okay in there?" she asked as she looked in. Inside the phone booth was a skinny girl, in her hand was a kerchief that was soaked, tears streamed down the girls face. "Oh, I'm sorry did you want to use the phone, how selfish of me, I'm very sorry." The girl said as she quickly got up, embarrassed to be an inconvenience for hogging the phone booth. The girl had medium brown hair; her green eyes stood out from her bloodshot eyes. She was about average height. She turned to grab her books and leave. "Is some thing wrong?" Usagi asked. "I don't want to trouble you with me problems, sorry about hogging the phone booth." The girl said very apologetically. "No I didn't want to use the phone," Usagi said. " So you can stop apologizing." "Oh," the girl said feeling stupid. "Then why did you go up to the phone booth? Did you hear me crying? Oh I'm so sorry to have worried you, I'm not hurt or anything." "I just wanted to know why you were crying." Usagi said to the over apologetic girl. "So why are you crying?" "Do you really want to know?" asked the girl. "Yup, otherwise I wouldn't walked off of the side walk." Usagi said as she wondered why the girl was so secretive. "Well I'm just depressed," the girl started out. "I just get this way sometimes, more and more often lately." "My name's Usagi," said Usagi, who wanted to know the other girl's name. "I'm Helen," said Helen who had stopped crying. "So why ya depressed?" asked Usagi. "Oh just about everything." Helen said shyly. "Boys, parents, friends, school?" asked Usagi, wondering why Helen was so depressed. "All of the above." Said Helen as she burst out into tears again. "Do you want to talk about it?" Usagi asked. "You could come over to my house it's only a block away." "Sure," Helen said. "It sure beats going home, going anywhere does." After hearing that two things hit Usagi. One Helen did have major problems. Two that Makoto was supposed to come over then. She realized that Makoto had shouted 'Race ya home.' 'Oh @#*!' thought Usagi, 'Helen can come over too I guess.' Seeing the worried look on Usagi's face worried Helen she was afraid of burdening anyone's life in any way. So she said. "If it's going to be any inconvenience whatsoever, it's okay I'll understand," "No, not at all," said Usagi with a friendly smile. This girl doesn't want to risk making anyone the tiniest bit unhappy. They arrived at Usagi's house then. Makoto was waiting for Usagi, waiting too long. "What happed I thought that a Nega-something got you!" shouted an angry Makoto. "I have company." Growled Usagi. "She doesn't know.. "That you are Sailor Moon and Sailor Jupiter," said Helen, to their surprise. "I have a sixth sense I'm not really that good at using it though." After Usagi was able to get her jaw up she said. "What the, how did you, how could you, what did you?" " I have a sixth sense, I was born with it." Explained Helen was now in a good mood. "So what's your name?" Asked Makoto. "I'm Helen, sorry if I scared you though, what's your name?" asked Helen. "Let me get this straight, you know that I'm Sailor Jupiter, but you don't know me name?" asked a bewildered Makoto. "My names Makoto. Just out of curiosity why the hell did Usagi bring you here." "I'm sorry if my being here bothers you, I understand, I'm leaving now, okay?" Said a scared Helen. She wasn't used to people saying "hell" except if they were mad. "No I'm not mad, I was only wondering why you where here since Usagi didn't tell me that she was bring anyone else over." Makoto said astonished at how scared Helen was about angering people. "I was crying and Usagi wanted to know why and invited me over here, but if I'm being any trouble at all feel free to tell me and I'll leave." Helen said quickly, then looked back to see their reactions, if they wanted her to leave, or were mad. To her surprise they weren't mad or upset or anything that she might have caused. "Why were you crying?" asked Makoto. "I was depressed." Helen stated simply. "About everything." "Why?" Asked Usagi. "You would be depressed if you were me too." Pouted Helen. Oh great, thought Usagi, she's acting like Chibi usa, well at least she's not over apologetic. "Sorry I guess I'm acting immature," Helen said meekly. "Can you read minds?" asked Usagi, since Helen was apologizing about her actions just as Usagi was finding fault with them. "Yes I can but I never read their thought or opinions only knowledge," said Helen. "Why do you ask?" "Nevermind," Said Usagi, who was feeling stupid, "Want any thing to drink?" "I'll have a coke," said Makoto. "Um, if it's not any trouble I'd like some ice tea, if it's convenient, that is." Helen said, meekly. "No trouble at all kiddo." Usagi said. "Helen, why are you depressed?" asked Makoto, as Usagi left the room. "I have a lot of problems," Helen said shyly. "You can always tell them to me, I won't mind, it'll probably make me happy, knowing that someone is willing to confide in me." "Do you really want to know?" "Yup." "Okay I've never had a boyfriend, my parents aren't ever happy with me, I'm not doing as well in school as I'd like, and so on." "Helen, I didn't have a boyfriend when I was your age either, hell I wasn't interested in boys." "Makoto I'm fifteen." "Oh, well um, some day your guy will come along." "Yea, right, no offence but I don't think so." "Oh come on why not?" "I'm ugly and fat." Makoto found that to funny to contain, she rolled on the floor with laughter. And she said, "You? Fat?" "Well I'm glad to have brought some pleasure to your life." Said a sobbing Helen. "Here are the drinks..." Usagi said when she saw Makoto rolling on the floor with laughter and Helen crying. "Oh boy, Makoto why the hell are you laughing when Helen's crying!!!" "Oh I'm sorry it's probably my fault, I'll leave now." Helen said timidly. " No it isn't. I was the one laughing, and I was only laughing because you said that you are fat, since you are thin." Makoto explain. "Why do you think that you're fat?" asked Usagi. " Because I've never had a boyfriend and never will." Said a depressed Helen. " Nonsense" " Okay then I've never had a boyfriend because I'm ugly." "What?" "I'm ugly; I've got a big nose and a flat chest." "Your nose is beautiful" "No offence but I don't believe you." "Helen you aren't ugly." Said Makoto. "Look at the time I have to get home or my parents will kill me." Helen said as she looked at her wrist, right where her watch was normally, but she forgot it this morning. "Helen what's your phone number?" Asked Usagi. "708-0325" Answered Helen, as Usagi punched the numbers into a phone. Ring. Ring. Pick up, thought Usagi, stupid phone. "Hello," Said a grumpy man. "What do you want?" "Hello are you Helen's father?" Usagi asked, she could see why Helen didn't want to go home. "Yea, is she in some sort of trouble?" He asked grumpily, " 'cause if she is I'm not her father." "No I'm one of her friends, and I want to know if it was okay if she slept over?" "Sure, why not? I don't care." The grumpy man said. "Helen do you want to spend the night here since I'm having a sleepover and you might like nto meet some of my other friends?" Usagi asked. "Sure it beats going home." Helen said. Usagi proceeded to call the rest of the gang, Minato, Rei, and Ami. The girls watched an anime called "Vampire Hunter D." During half of it Helen was curled up in a ball with terror. The girls talked a lot, about school. Helen finally started talking about her problems and by the end of it she felt much better. She didn't have any real friends that she felt she could talk to about any of her problems, since she confided in them be for but they told other people, even though she asked them not to. The sleepover really helped her feel better. Afterwards they discovered that they went to the same school and had a lot of classes together. Helen never felt better, only one problem was still on her mind. But basically life was good. Sailor Bunny Ch2 By Bunny Annla "Did you forget your lunch Helen-chan?" Ami asked, noticing that Helen didn't have her normal lavender lunch bag. "I um forgot it at home." Helen said. "Do you want some of mine?" Ami asked. "No because then I won't learn my lesson and will keep on forgetting my lunch." Helen said. "You and Usagi are opposites, she forgets hers and she's begging me for mine." Ami said with a chuckle. Helen liked spending time with Ami and Usagi the most. She always did her homework with Ami since they were in a lot if the same classes. Usagi and Helen often went over to Rei's after school to "barrow" mangas. She was never happier. "Race ya to Rei's!" Shouted Helen with a huge smile on her face. She ran off. Usagi was faster then Helen and would have one except she tripped on a tree root and hurt her leg. Helen after a few steps noticed her friend's absence and stopped running. "Stupid tree!" Usagi said. "Worse than the doom tree." "Are you okay?" asked Helen. "I can't move my leg." Usagi cried. While Usagi was crying Helen called an ambulance, and Usagi's folks. "Don't worry I called an ambulance." Helen said. "Whoa, you really broke your leg!" The ambulance arrived soon. Helen got to ride in the ambulance. There was a paramedic in the back along with a volunteer. Usagi cried all the way there. Helen tried to talk to her but she was too busy scaring the paramedic, who thought that something must be terribly wrong for Usagi, since she was crying so much. Helen decided to talk to the volunteer, a boy around her age. "My friend cries a lot when the tiniest thing goes wrong, that is why she's crying so much. "Helen said to the boy. "My name's Helen." The boy answered back," my name is Justin." "Been here long?" "All day, ugh!" "Is it fun being a volunteer Paramedic." "Not too fun, but I'm only doing this because I want to be a doctor." "Hey I want to be a doctor too, a pediatrician." "Really, I want to be a occupational therapist." "What 's a occupational therapist?" "A doctor that help people recover, I think." "Cool, are you going to be doing this all summer?" "No I'm going to quite, it kills all my time." "What grade are you in?" "My first year of high school." "Me too!" "Do you want to do some thing this weekend?" "Sure, like what?" "We could all go to a movie." "We all?" "You with your friend and me with mine, it'll be fun." "Sure," She said, without the same enthusiasm, she wished that it was a date not a friend get together. Sigh. I'll never get a date, she thought. It was a long cold ride to the hospital from then on. "Wanna sign my cast?" Usagi asked. So far her cast was half full with doodles she drew. "Sure," said Helen half heatedly. A tall man with black hair walked in the room. He greeted Usagi by saying, "Hey Odango atama" Usagi's face picked up even more as she recognized her visitor "Mamuro!!" "Who is this?" Mamuro asked. "My names Helen and your Tuxedo Karmen, right?" said a happy Helen, she loved using her sixth sense, and surprising people. A red rose darted through the air aimed right at Helen, who is a panic, was trying to dodge it. She succeeded. Luna, who had sneaked in the hospital saw this and noticed a lavender symbol of the dead moon Panana, which was once a moon of earth. She did her little summersault thingy and got small lavender compact, it was about as big as silver dollar. Then Luna approached them, just as Usagi was explaining about Helen to Mamuro. "She is a friend, not a bad guy," Usagi said in her usual spazy manner. "She has a sixth sense, she came all this way to visit me, and you throw a rose at her." "She's kind of in an emotional mood, I guess it's the anistihic's effect," Said Helen. "Oh, yea last time she had to get knocked out, she was hyperemotional, she seems to be getting better." Mamuro said "Hi Justin," said Helen as Justin walked into the room. "What cha doing here?" "Well, I got a break and I decided to come and see how you, I mean Usagi was doing, since she was the last emergency on my shift," explained Justin, blushing when he accidentally said "you", instead of his planned Usagi. He really came in to talk to Helen. "Who's your friend?" He said after noticing Mamuro, he wondered if he was her boyfriend, oh oh. "He's not my friend, but he is Usagi's boyfriend," said Helen. Her stomach went numb, she could sense that he was nervous when he saw Mamuro, and she wasn't even trying to sense anything. Now came a rush of possible explanations, maybe he was afraid that he was my boyfriend, nah, but it's the only logical one. Why would a guy like me? I'm just a flat runty, but fat. Just then Minako came in. "Man I hate detention!" said an exhausted Minako. "Well you wouldn't get so many if you came to school on time," said Ami. "I'd get to school on time if I had gymnastics first, but know I have Math," grumbled Mina-chan. "Hi Helen-chan, how did you do on your test?" Ami asked. "Well, I aced it," said Helen in a mock sad voice. "Really, I missed one whole point in it," said Ami, wide-eyed. "Well, I guessed on a lot of them, Ami-chan," said Helen, after noticing that Justin left. "Helen, I have something for you," said a voice from under Usagi's hospital bed. "Who are you?" asked a bewildered Helen. "I'm Luna, a talking cat," Luna said. "I have something for you." "Cool," said Helen, a bit startled. "Would you mind coming out of under the bed, I've never seen a talking cat before." Luna stepped out and set the locket at Helen's feet. "Hey, that looks sort of like my locket, only a different color and smaller," said Usagi "She is from the far moon of the Universe," explained Luna, "She was the first to die when Queen Beryl started conquering the Universe, she tried to infiltrate The Dark Kingdom but Metallia found her out and killed her when she was off her guard." "Oh," said Helen putting the locket on her school uniform. "So I wasn't a senshi?" "You were," Said Luna, "You just realize how big of a threat the Dark Kingdom was, and tried to head it off, You left the moon a week before the Moon Kingdom was destroyed." "So I'm a Sailor Senshi," said Helen. " Welcome to the group," said Minako and Usagi. "Thanks guys," said Helen. "Well I hope your leg feels better, I have to go and check on something." "Leaving so soon?" Usagi asked. "No," said Helen, "I'm going to be back, I'm just going to be gone for a minute or two." Helen left the room. She knew that for some reason she wanted to be here. Great, she thought, now even my sixth sense is not telling me anything. "Man you are so stupid," she heard a regretful voice say from around the corner. "Why don't you just go up and say to her 'I love you,' I'm so stupid, Helen probably thinks I am too. Man why am I so dumb, I might have might have had a chance with her, 'til I blew it." Helen continued to listen, the voice sounded familiar and the voice knew her, but whose was it. After a second it hit her like a ton of bricks. It was Justin. He liked her. "Hey ya Justin," said Helen. Justin's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. "Um hi, Helen," nervously said Justin, not sure how much of his talking she over heard. "What are you doing out here?" "Oh I decided to take a walk," said Helen, "I needed a break from sitting down." "So how's your friend doing?" Justin asked, realizing that Helen probably didn't hear him talking. "Fine," said Helen. "How about you, still feeling stupid over nothing?" "Wha!" said an embarrassed Justin, "Did you over here me taking to myself?" "Yes," said Helen. "Don't worry I don't think you're stupid, I think your smart." "Thanks," said Justin, surprised at her reaction. "Are we still on for the movie?" asked Helen. "Yup," said Justin, "That is if you still want to." "Sure," said Helen, noticing his discomfort about the movie date, and how he wished it was just the two of them. "Are you still planing to bring your friends?" "Are you?" asked Justin. "Probably not," said Helen, "I'd have to invite Usagi, who talks contently through any and every movie." "I probably wouldn't either then," said Justin. "It probably be uncomfortable for you to be the only girl in a group of guys." "Yea," said Helen. "Well I have to go," said Justin looking at his watch. "I'm going to be in trouble, sorry I have to go." "Bye," Helen said. She walked back to Usagi's room, in a trance. "Hey Helen," Makoto said. "Yahoo!" shouted Helen, as quietly as she could. She jumped and danced around with joy. "You know she might just even be worse than me," said Usagi. "I'm so happy!" said Helen. "This is the girl you met crying in a phone booth a few days ago?" Makoto asked Usagi. "Must be, she has that locket," replied Usagi. "What did you put in your coffee this morning?" Makoto asked. "Nothing," said Helen smiling as much as is possible. "Guess who's going on her first date this Friday night?" "You?" asked Ami, figuring out what her friend was saying. " Yes siree!" said an excited Helen, still jumping around. "Congratulations Helen-chan," said Makoto. "Little old me has a date Makoto-chan!" said Helen. "Who's the guy?" Usagi asked, still trying to figure her friend out. "Justin," answered Helen, beginning to calm down. "Who's he?" Usagi asked. "Remember the guy who was in the ambulance, who I was talking to?" asked Helen. "Is that Justin?" asked Usagi, vaguely remembering seeing her talking to him. "Yup," said Helen. "Helen-chan,"said Usagi," I'm happy for you!" "Thanks Usagi-san," Helen said now fully calm. To be continued... Sailor Bunny part 3 By Bunny Annla "How much longer until Friday!" said Helen, angry at slowly the week was going. "Same as before, only minus a few seconds," said Usagi for what seemed the millionth time. "Helen you know time passes faster when you're doing something other than staring at your watch." "You're right," said Helen. "Do you want to go to the arcade?" "Sure," said Usagi glade that her friend actually said a sentence that didn't include Friday or Justin. :) "Have you played the new Sailor V game, I heard that it's supposed to be good?" asked Helen. "Yea," said Usagi. "I've played it before, it was my favorite game." "Why isn't your favorite anymore?" Helen asked. "It's too weird knowing Sailor V and playing her game," Usagi said quietly. "Yea, ever since I met you guys I've quiet playing my Sailor Moon Game," Helen said. "Are you okay? You seem a little more out of it than normal, no offense." "None taken," said Usagi yawning. "Let's go," said Helen, hoping that a nice walk would wake her friend up. Usagi stumbled along, too tired to walk right. "You sure you're okay?" Helen asked. "Yup," said Usagi. "Never again will I stay up watching a Sailor V anime marathon." Helen was relieved that Usagi just hadn't gotten enough sleep. Helen was getting paranoid. She sensed that danger was near, yet every thing was peachy. She looked at her locket, just to make sure it was there, just in case. Justin, Helen thought dreamily, only a few hours away was the day on which she would go on her date with him. She wished that today was Friday, but part of her said, sister you're wacko, Helen continued to walk to the arcade, with stares in her eyes and a grin on her face. "Helen, earth to Helen," Usagi said, trying to get her pal's attention before she walked into a tree. "Hello Mr. Tree," Helen said goofily after stepping out of the way just in the nick of time. The arcade was just a few feet away. So they walked into it. "Hey Usagi," said Helen. "There's a Pretty Solider Sailormoon video game." "How come I'm not getting ten percent?" Usagi asked under her breath. "Who do you want to play?" Helen asked. "How about I play myself," Usagi said. "I'll play, um Rei-chan," said Helen. "She nice. Except if you try to steal her mangas." "Too bad you aren't in this game," Usagi said. "Yea," said Helen. "Then I could find out what powers I have." "Well here goes," said Usagi inserting a quarter. Usagi a seasoned video game vet got much further than Helen, a mediocre player. Helen died on the first level. She wasn't very good at any video games, except Myst and Tetris. She was good at Myst only because there wasn't any fighting. She tended to be better at solving puzzles than at fighting. She figured that it was the reason why she went undercover to gather information about the dark kingdom. Day by day her memory about her past on the Moon Kingdom returned more. Usagi was very good at the video game, and got all the way to the last levels. "This game is dumb," announced Usagi. "It's got all the moves wrong. They forgot my move where I body slam the bad guy. They left out all of Rei-chan's exorcism spells." "Well," said Helen, noticing that Usagi was now awake and competent. "It was the work of an over zealous fan, you can't expect it to be accurate." (Bunny, that is my excuse for this fanfic :)) "I wish they'd try harder," said Usagi pouting. "Hey Odango Atama," said a voice. Usagi's eyes lit up, as she realized who the voice belongs to. She turned around and gave Mamoru a big hug, nearly knocking him over. "I'm glad to see you to. Hi Helen." "Hey," said Helen. "How ya doing?" "I'm doing well," Mamoru said. "How about you? I heard you have a date this Friday." "I'm great," replied Helen. "Yes I do have a date this Friday, and I'm counting the hours, minutes, and seconds." (Bunny, I did that once only it was until I got to see a guy I used to have the biggest crush on, that used to annoy my friends. I don't like the guy anymore.:)) "Usagi wasn't exaggerating," said Mamoru quietly, so that Helen couldn't hear. Usagi told him that Helen was going bonkers over the date, and he thought that she was exaggerating. "Well look at the time, I have to do my homework," Helen said looking at her watch. Then she left and when home to do her homework and to daydream.
