Padded footsteps echoed through the fog. Three cats walked slowly 
through the gray darkness. At first glance they appeared to be normal 
ordinary house pets, but in fact they were not ordinary cats. If you 
looked at them closely you could tell that there was something 
different about them. Something special. 

These cats had an air of intelligence. All three had a different symbol 
on its forehead. All three also had fur as soft as velvet, and eyes that 
were almost human. 

One of the cats had orangish-yellow fur, with deep blue eyes, and 
the golden symbol of the sun on its forehead. Another of the cats had 
cream white fur, and shinning hazel eyes, with the silver symbol of the 
stars on its forehead. The last one had black and white fur with green 
eyes, and the blue symbol of the earth on its forehead. These cats 
walked through the fog with a mission. For the mysterious guardian of 
time had summoned them to her home at the gates of time. The cats had 
been there once before which is why they hadn't gotten lost yet. The 
time gate was a lot like a maze. 

Slowly, the fog began to clear away up ahead of them to reveal the 
guardian's small house. It was a well kept house with a picket fence 
running around it. It was very strange to see a house in such a 
desolate place. Standing next to the door was the keeper of time 
herself: Sailor Pluto. 

When Pluto saw the three cats she smiled warmly. 

"Welcome my feline friends. I've been expecting you," Pluto 
greeted. "I'm glad you could come." 

"We are please to be able to be in your presence, Lady Pluto, but we 
are anxious to find out why you have summoned us," the cat with the 
symbol of earth on her forehead replied. 

"Have some patience. I'll get to that in a moment," Pluto told 
them, and opened the door to her home. "Follow me." 

The three cats were then led into a small sitting room, and when 
everyone was comfortably seated Pluto spoke. 

"You all know that I wouldn't have summoned you here unless it 
was important, and since you all seem very anxious to find out why I 
called you here I'll get right down to business, and skip the small 
talk. I have some bad news," Pluto paused. 

"For heaven's sake Pluto quite with the dramatics and spit it out!" 
the cat with the symbol of the sun burst out. The suspense was 
obviously killing him. 

"Alright! Alright! Keep your fur on, and listen. An enemy of 
the likes I've never seen before has arrived on earth. It threatens 
the time line which is why I'm involving myself in this battle," Pluto 
told them all with seriousness showing in her eyes. 

"I can't think of what this has anything to do with us," the cat 
with the star symbol said. 

"You'll figure it out in a moment just wait. Because the enemy 
is so strong, even the inner and outer scouts combined can't win this 
battle without some....assistance. I'm afraid I have to awaken Sailor 
Terra, Soldier Earth, Sailor Star, and Soldier Sun. As their guardians 
you are required to offer advice to your charges. Are you prepared to 
begin the mission?" Pluto said. 

"Yes. Of course. Where are they, and when do we begin?" the 
cat with the earth symbol asked. 

"They are in America. Our mission starts now," Pluto replied.
