A bright star in my black universe, a beautiful red rose in a garden of 
dead,
wilted weeds. You, love, are the most wonderful, beautiful girl (Woman) in 
all
of existance, and you don't seem to know it. Your the diamond in the rough, 
and
I don't deserve you.

Your the mistress of my heart, the keeper of my soul, the center of my 
being.
How can you love me? How can you dig deep enough and find a good point in my
pitiful life?  I don't know how you do it, but you do. You find it, a 
minescule
amount of light in my darkness and make it bright enough to put the sun in

Nobody can make my heart stir or my breath quicken, nobody but you. You have 
cracked

thankful. Whatever it was, it must have been godlike in nature, for none 
could earn
such a thing from just being a normal mortal man.

I hurt you and betray you so often, but I don't even realize I do. My heart 
aches and
burns because of my words and actions of the past, but your smiling face 
melts the
guilt and pain away as easily as the heat of fire melts the solid coldness 
of ice.

I serve in your temple, and die in your breath. I'm nothing more than a 
slave to my
heart when it comes to you. I don't strive to be anything or do anything but 
make
you happy and love you. My love breaks this unimportant thing called time, 
and it
will never fade.
