Auston Hello everyone, this is a fanfic that I came up with all by myself, Originally this story was not an SM fanfic but then....... One day I had the most totally cool plan! And that was to change it so that it was a SM fanfic. And here you have a very Dramatic fanfic that I think might be a little heavy. It's a Marmou and Usagi fanfic, it will probably stretch out to 3 or 4 chapters at the least. I hope you like it and send me comments, I have a new homepage at http;//www.neptune.on.ca/~dmacin/ Please go there and sign the Guest book, its a fanfiction homepage. Quick hello to Jade, Kathryn, Joel, Anita, Trixi and Sea. Ok, that's about it now onto this story. Oh, yes a few more things about this story. Its sort of a "What If" fanfic in that sense. Usagi lives in New York and works at a DC comic company, Marmoru.... well, he just sort of hangs around Usagi and torments her. This story is called, THE TRUTH, THE DANGER, AND THE MONEY. Long title I know, but I think it sort of suits this story and this story is Rated PG. My name is Auston and this IS my story. ______________________________________________________________________ I was glad to be going home. I'd had a very busy day at my work this afternoon. The boss was very angry with me today, for something that I didn't do, and he accused me of doing it. He said that *I* made a mess of his files and that *I* had to clean them up. Well, you know me, that's what I did, cleaned them up. I work at a really tall, fancy building in New York, on the Eastern side, close to where I live. It makes DC comic books and I draw the pictures on the computer. We used to draw them by hand but the company and the people like the new style now, so we couldn't possibly draw with our own hands. Too bad. I'd become a pretty good artist over the years..... I pushed the doors open to the big apartment building where I live, waved to a few people that I knew, and stepped into the elevator. It was a very old elevator, just like the building, that had mirrors on the walls around it and had what used to be a very bright red carpet. Now it was only dark red, almost the color of blood. I shivered as that though flitted through my mind and stopped my imagination from going any further and running away with me. It did that often. I pressed the number 10 and the elevator started to move. It made my stomach go up and down. This building has over 100 floors and a lot of people come here to live. I love living in this place. I get to meet all sorts of interesting people. Which was how I met Mamoru. Mamoru is.... well, lets just say I don't like him very much. He always comes into my apartment, uninvited, and starts eating all of my lovely food that I got from one of my friends. And then he sets himself down and turns on the cable; not bothering at all... to even take off his shoes! He gets me SO MAD sometimes! The elevator stopped with a ping, snapping me out of my thoughts, and I felt that same up and down feeling in my stomach when I first started out on this adventure. I looked up to see if it was the floor that I wanted, and saw that it wasn't. It was only floor 7. Just three more floors to go and THEN I can take a relaxing bath. Ahhh.... a bath. That sounds nice doesn't it? "Hello, Meatball head!" The annoying little person I mentioned earlier called. I looked at him, right in the face, my cheeks red with anger. That was another thing I forgot to mention about his annoying little habits. He likes to make fun of my hair due. I comment to you only. It's unusual. With two buns and long blond pony- tails traling behind, like streamers. But, I like it. It's been in my family for generations, and I've worn it almost since birth. "Mamoru, I would really like it if you could stop calling me that!!" I said, trying to stay cool and not to blow up in his face totally. Mamoru just smiled at me and walked into the elevator. "Mamoru, this elevator goes up. Didn't you want to go down to the lobby?" I asked, trying to get rid of him. Mamoru looked hurt. He did look kind of cute when he did that. But - wait, what am I thinking? "Usagi, I was going down but I decided instead that I would go into this elevator and bug you!" Marmou said to Usagi, grinning openly. Usagi just looked at him with a scowl that could have killed a tiger from fright. "Well, I can see that you are very pleased to see me! Usagi, what did I do any......" Mamoru stopped teasing Usagi when they both jolted forward as the elevator made a sudden lurching action. This flung Usagi towards the door. Mamoru on the other hand fell onto of Usagi and they both tumbled onto the floor. Mamoru grunted an apology to the squashed Usagi and got up very quickly. Usagi just laid down on the floor, not bothering to get up, and rubbing her nose, trying to take away the pain. Marmou looked down at Usagi expectantly, hand out stretched, ready to help pull her up. "Mamoru I think you broke my nose!!!!! HOW COULD YOU?!?!?!" I screamed at him, holding my injured nose. Marmou just looked at me in shock. He had never really heard me yell at him, even at all the little stunts he pulled around me. I had never yelled at him. Mamoru really looked like a scared kitten... it was rather funny! I just couldn't help it, even with my throbbing nose, I still had a sense of humour. I started to laugh. Then Mamoru, after a few seconds, joined in on my laughter. _____________________________________________________________________ It was a couple of minutes later after what'd happened. My nose still hurt really bad and we were starting to wonder why we weren't moving or going any place at all, neither up or down. I looked at Mamoru, who was sitting down, tired after laughing so hard. He looked at me. I think that we knew we both had the same question rolling in and out of our heads. What was going on? TO BE CONTINUED....
