        "It's good to be back" Serena stated happily as she
inhaled in the fresh Japan air. "American air is much to
smoggy." Serena smiled as she briskly walked around the
city she grew up in. 'It has been a long time since I was
last here...' thought Serena.

       After Serena and the other scouts had defeated
Queen Beryl, her parents, Ilene and Ken, thought it would
be best and the safest for their daughter and son if they
move to America and away from all those Monster attacks
that had hit Japan. Serena cried and protested but it was
all to no avail. She sadly moved to New York City when she
was 14.

       Serena was now 17, almost 18, and practically a full
grown woman. Serena had matured remarkably in her time she
spent in New York. Serena had enrolled in several dance
classes and attended an art school. There, she realized the
passion she had for drawing. Serena worked very hard to keep
her grades up so she could continue attending art school.
       She truly was an excellent student, being 4th in her
class at Memorial High School, she had shocked her family.
But now she was back in Japan, leaving all her American
friends behind, returning to her old ones. Serena was going
to spend her senior year in High School in Japan. She
couldn't wait to see the look on Ms.Haruna's face when she
saw Serena.

       Serena sat in her old room, which was no longer
decorated in pink bunnies, her white walls now adorned
drawings and paintings Serena had created over the years.
She knew the scouts would be shocked at her change.'How are
they doing anyway? How is Darien doing?' Serena thought 'I
wonder if any more Nega-trash came back?' She shuddered
at the thought 'I sure hope not'

       She stood up and glanced at her watch "Well, I have
time to explore the town before diner." And with that Serena
was out the door.

       Serena's first stop was the Arcade. As she walked
slowly down the street so many memories came flooding back
at her, the way she would always run because she was late to
something, fall or bump into Darien. She chuckled as she
continued her walking. She finally reached the Arcade, she
paused and took a deep breath while pulling open the door.
Serena's face lit up as she viewed the Arcade. It all looked
the same as it did 3 years ago. Serena walked right up to
Andrew and tapped him lightly on his shoulder. He turned
around and stared in shook at what he saw. Andrew finally
sputtered out "Serena...Is that you?"
"Yep Andrew, it sure is!"
"Wow Serena, You have changed so much!"

       Andrew glanced at Serena up and down, she had on pink
cashmere sweater with 3/4 sleeves, a pair of gray Capri
pants and black sandals with a one inch heel. Andrew also
noticed something else, Her meatballs were gone. Serena now
had shoulder length wavy dark blonde hair. "Your hair Serena."

       Andrew just stood in awe, she looked great, it was
just so different."Do you like it?" Serena asked timidly.
"It kinda just turned darker and wavy..." her voice trailed
off.
"Yes!"Andrew said quickly, he flashed a grin at Serena.
"Thanks Andrew!" Serena happily replied as she gave him a
big hug. She stepped back and asked "Umm Andrew...have you
seen Darien? Is he still around?"
"Yeah" Andrew said as he noticed the relief look in her eyes
"He comes around the arcade everyonce in a while."
"Oh" said Serena as she smiled.
"I've really got to get going, it was nice talking to you
again"
"Good-bye Serena" Andrew yelled as Serena was walking out
the door.
