Ok, here?s ch. 4 of Sailor Scouts R.  I?m going to try my best to do at
least one ch. a month, and since I have a four day weekend this 
weekend, I got plenty of time to do this ch.  For those who have been 
sending in your comments, thank you.  Thank you to, Mako, for pointing 
out something I was missing completely.

Sailor Scouts R - Chapter 4: VR Madness

	The night of the day Ken was released, the Sailor Scouts 
gathered at a secluded area of Tokyo Park, near the lake, where they 
wouldn?t be seen or disturbed.  This meeting was not a regular strategy
meeting, or a friends-get-together-meeting.  This was the Scout?s 
private funeral service for their leader, Sailor Moon.

	Amy, and Ray, have been using their resources, Amy?s computer, 
and Ray?s fire readings, to try to find Serena, but they had no luck.  
They couldn?t even find the Silver Imperium Crystal, which suggested it
was either destroyed, or forever trapped in Sailor Moon?s sub-space 
pocket, for no one but her can get into it.  With this all taken into 
account, the Scouts finally decided to declare Sailor Moon as killed in
action.

	The Scouts gathered into a circle, with the cats outside the 
circle watching in sadness, and they all morn the loss of their best 
friend.  Mina spoke up first, ?We are here tonight to morn the loss of 
a fellow Scout, friend, and our princess. She was there when ever one 
of us needed her.  When someone wouldn?t come near me, cause I seemed 
to be a loner, she came to me, and brought a ray of sunshine to my 
life.?

	?People shunned me, cause I was a ?brainiac? that never took 
the time to socialize.  Serena helped bring me out of my shell,? Amy 
said.

	?People thought my psychic abilities, and my temper, were scary
and tended to stay away from me.  But Serena wouldn?t.  She saw the 
light in me no one else did,? Ray said.

	?People thought I was a bully.  That I was a monster.  Despite 
the rumors she heard, Serena came into my life with so much kindness 
that nobody else came close to,? Lita said.

	Mina concluded, ?The Sailor Scouts, protectors of the Moon 
Princess Serena, have spoken.  Serena, we wish you well.  SAILOR SCOUTS
TRANSFORM.?

	?MERCURY POWER.?
	?MARS POWER.?
	?JUPITER POWER.?
	?VENUS POWER.?

	After the Scouts finished transforming, Luna spoke up, ?Sailors,
present arms.?  The Scouts shot their attacks straight into the air.

	?MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST?
	?MARS FIRE IGNITE.?
	?JUPITER THUNDER CRASH.?
	?VENUS CRESCENT BEAM SMASH.?

	To anyone outside the park watching the energy beams go into 
the air, it was a sight to see.  But if they knew the real reason for 
the light show, they wouldn?t think this.  When the attacks got a good 
distance up, they seemed to stop and form a crescent moon made up of 
water, fire, lightning, and light, before the energy faded away.  The 
Scouts silently powered down and each walked in sad silence to their 
respective homes.  Luna went back to the Tsukino house and Artemis went
home with Mina.

	BEEP!  BEEP!  BEEP!  BEEP!  BEEP!  BEEP!  Mina woke up to her 
alarm clock and shut off the annoying thing with her fist.  She heard 
a metallic sound and turned to see a flattened alarm clock, with 
springs and gears popping out all over it, ?Great, that?s the fifth 
clock this week.  Mom is going to blow a gasket again.?  Mina wondered 
why she even set the alarm on a Saturday, until she remembered the new 
VR place that was opening downtown today.  She immediately got up, and 
got dressed.  The girls had decided to get together at the VR place and
just hang out at talk all about Serena, in an effort to try to get over
what they believed to be impossible.

	Meanwhile, at Allen and Ann?s apartment, our two aliens were 
inspecting the Doom Tree when Ann said, ?Look at the tree Allen.  It?s 
dying and it?s all those Sailor brats? fault.  It?s not even absorbing 
the energy we?re giving it.?

	?I don?t know what to do besides giving it more human energy,? 
Allen said as they began to go over new strategies to give the tree the
energy it needs.  Just then, Allen saw a flier on the table, ?Check 
this out.  A Virtual Reality theater just opened up downtown.  Could be
a good place to get some energy.?  Ann agreed and they began to hatch 
their newest plot.

	At the Virtual Reality theater, Darien was standing in what can
only be described as a very long line.  He didn?t know why he actually 
came here.  For some reason, he felt he needed to be here, as if he?d 
meet someone he was suppose to know.  For the past month, he?d been 
mellowing in his school work more then usual, and even Darien couldn?t 
explain why he was doing that.  It was as if some part of him was 
really sad and was using school to keep the sadness at bay.  Sadness 
for what, he couldn?t remember for the life of him.  Just then he heard
a argument nearby.  A very familiar one at that, (OH boy!!!  Will Bill 
ever stop hitting on girls that don?t want him?).  Bill, was one of 
Darien?s classmates at school, and he tended to be an air head when 
women said no to his advances.  Darien found Bill, trying to hit on 
Ann, (He?s doing this over a junior high student?  How low can he go 
this week?).  He kindly walked up to Bill and said, ?Hey pall what?s 
your problem??

	?So what?s it to you,? Bill asked.  The two just stared at each
other, and Bill did the predictable.  He just walked away.  

	Darien looked at Bill as he walked off, (Well, another day with
good old Bill,), just then something grabbed onto him, (Maybe I should 
let him have Ann.)  He thought annoyingly, as Ann grabbed Darien around
the waist.

	?Oh, Darien you saved my life.  How can I repay you?  I know.  
I can Take you to the Virtual Reality Theater.  It will be so Kool,? 
Ann said.  Darien could only moan and think (HELP ME!!!).

	While Ann was with Darien, Allen was talking to a VR Employee, 
?I?m sorry sir, but You?ll have to get in line.?  Allen shot a beam 
from his eyes into the employee?s eyes and he seamed to go into a 
trance.

	Allen went to check on Ann and found her all over Darien, (What
is Ann doing?).   Allen walked up to Ann, ?Ann, what are you doing??

	Ann was startled, ?Oh hehe, Hi, Allen.  This is Darien, and 
he?s taking me to the Virtual Reality theater.  Isn?t that kool??

	Darien protested, ?I didn?t say that.?

	?Good, cause I believed you invited me along, right Darien,? 
said the very person who seemed to come to his rescue a lot, with her 
white cat draped on her shoulder.

	Darien turned and said, ?Hay, Mina.  How?s it going??  Darien 
immediately took Mina?s hand, ?Shall we go in. (Anything to get out of 
Ann?s sight.)?  The two walked off, and into the theater, after a long 
wait.

	As soon as Mina and Darien were out of sight, Allen said, ?Ann,
don?t forget why we are here.?

	?Oh, Allen.  This is your perfect cover up.?

	?Ann, I know what your up to,? Allen said, as Ann left to get 
in line, ?Oh well. while Ann?s with Darien.  I?ll spend my time with 
Mina.?

	After they all went into the theater, leaving Artemis outside, 
the rest of the Scouts and Luna arrived, And artemis said, ?Good 
afternoon ladies.?

	Lita looked around, curious, ?Artemis where?s Mina.?

	?She had to play hero for Darien again.?

	?Ann is still at Darien?  When will she learn.,? Lita asked, as
they all got into line.

	Inside the VR theater, Mina, Darien, and Ann were in a shoot 
em up game, in a car meant for two people.  Ann faked a panic, ?Oh, 
Darien. I?m so scared.?

	Mina spoke up, ?What?s the big deal?  It?s just a game, Ann.?  
Just then, Mina got a glimpse of the bouncing car in front and noticed 
Serena?s dad, and brother Sammy.  Seeing them, brought a fresh set of 
tears to Mina?s face as she remembered Serena.

	She was so wrapped in sorrow, she was ?accidentally? pushed out
of the car, by Ann and landed in Allen?s car, ?What?s this Allen.??

	?I uh....... just caught her,? Allen stuttered.

	Mina just laughed it off, ?Ya, just thought I?d drop in for a 
visit. (I hope Darien can handle her on his own.)?

	Outside the VR theater, the rest of the Scouts were still in 
line, and Lita asked, ?How much longer is it going to take??

	Ray said, ?Chill out Lita.  This is the hottest ticket in 
town.?

	Amy said, ?Well, I?m getting hot just sitting in this sun.?  
The others just moaned and continued to wait.

	Lita asked, ?I wonder what Serena would think of this place.?

	The girls looked sad all of a sudden, and Ray said, ?Knowing 
her, she?d probably be inside by now.  Hay, Amy, you never really tell 
us how you met Serena.  How?d did you meet her??

	Amy began her tail, ?Well, it started one day at school......?

	Back inside, Mina, Darien, Allen, and Ann, were suiting up for 
VR shooting gallery, which is several room of holographic monsters.  
The VR suites were a pack that went on your back, arm  and leg guards, 
and a VR gun.  Mina, again noticed Sammy, and was beginning to think 
that thinking of Serena couldn?t get any worse until Sammy said, ?I am 
handsome young hero, fighting for justice, Super Sammy.  I will punish 
you in the name of the Moon.?  Mina pushed the thoughts into here head,
and concentrated on having fun, and working overtime to same Darien 
from Ann.  But wanted to enjoy Allen?s company also.

	Just then a virtual monster appeared and Ann zapped it with her
gun.  She leaned on Darien and shout triumphantly, ?Am I hot, or am I 
hot.?  Mina, Darien, and Allen just sweat dropped, and thought, (Will 
she ever give up.).  Ann noticed Allen?s look and said, ?Now, now 
Allen.  All work and no play, makes Allen a dull boy.?  Just then, 
another VR monster appeared, and Darien took aim, but Allen beat him to
it, (A little competition never hurt.).  The two stared at each other 
each thinking, (Lets do it.).  As if on cue, multiple VR monster 
appeared, and Darien and Allen started racking up points.

	Ann, and Mina were impressed, ?These guys are majorly hot.?  
Another monster appeared, and Mina took aim, as if doing a crescent 
beam attack, and shot the monster.  Another monster appeared and Ann 
used this to act scared, and ran to Darien as he zapped it, ?Thank you 
Darien.  I could stay in your arms forever.?

	?(Why me?) Sorry, but I don?t go for pushy girls.  That?s just 
not my style,? Darien said.  Mina was about to comment, and saw a VR 
monster that looked like one of Beryle?s Youma, and before thinking ran
off in fright.  Darien went after her, ?Hay, Mina, wait up.?

	As soon as they were out of sight, Ann zapped the VR monster 
with her finger, ?That?s the way she wants to play.  Well so can I,? 
Ann then noticed Allen?s look and faked weakness, ?Oh Allen I didn?t 
realize how weak I am.?

	?So your finally ready to get down to business Ann??

	?Sure am, Allen,? was Ann?s reply.

	Back outside, the Scouts were now near the beginning of the 
line.  Ray noticed a sign at the door, ?Two hour wait!!!!  Better be 
worth it.?

	Just then Lita tapped Ray on the shoulder to get her back into 
the story Amy was telling, ?Then she busted into my computer class 
asking.....?

	Allen took out his stack of cards, ?Choose a card Ann.  Let 
deal these humans a new hand.?  Ann choose a card and it flew into the 
air.  A picture of an insect creature appeared.

	Allen took out his flute, ?I command you, Cardien Nacrid to 
come forward.?

	The Cardien grew to human size and came out of her card, ?You 
called?!?! HAHAHAHAHA.?

	Ken, and Sammy were walking around, trying to go the right way 
when Sammy noticed something, ?Hay, we?ve been here before.  We?re 
going around in circles.?  Just then they heard some screaming and 
decided to investigate.  When they got their, they saw what they 
thought was another VR monster with tubes attached to some of the 
people, ?WOW!!  This is the best game yet.?

	Mr. Tsukino wasn?t totally convinced it was just another VR 
monster, ?I-I couldn?t agree with you more.?

	The Cardien turned and saw them, ?Ah, new prey.?  They started 
to scream.

	Further into the game, Mina and Darien were shooting up 
monsters like no one?s business, ?Mina, where did you learn to shoot 
like that??

	?UH, hehe, practice,? Mina said with a little bit of 
nervousness behind it.  Just then a VR monster appeared behind Mina and
Darien took it out, ?WOW!!  Your good at this, Darien.?

	Darien, was in a hurry, ?Time to go Mina.?  He grabbed Mina?s 
hand, ?We still have one more room to go into.?

	?Wow, slow down Darien.  You should have done this with 
Serena,? Mina said without thinking.

	Darien asked, ?Who??

	Mina looked down in sadness at what she said, ?Never mind, 
just someone I use to know.?

	?Use to know,? Darien asked.

	?She died a couple of months ago,? Mina said, ready to cry.

	Just then Someone shouted, ?MINA!!!?  Mina turned to see Sammy 
running up to her, ?It?s my dad.  One of the monsters is real, and it?s
got my dad.  You can?t zap it with the lasers.?

	Darien walked up to Sammy, ?Show me where he is.?  Sammy 
agreed.

	?Hay, I?m coming to,? Mina said.

	?Uh, you better stay here Mina.  It?s kind of a guy thing,? 
Sammy said.

	As soon as Sammy, and Darien were out of sight, ?Mina said, 
?It sounds more like a Scouts thing.?  She took out her transformation 
pen.

	?VENUS POWER.?

	Back outside, the employee sent in the next two and Ray said, 
?All right, just three more people to go.?

	Lita asked, ?What?s the hurry Ray??

	?I think I?m sensing nega vibes coming from inside,? Ray 
answered.  After several more minutes they all got inside and found a 
place inside the VR game to transform.

	?MARS POWER.?
	?JUPITER POWER.?
	?MERCURY POWER.?

	Back at the battle sight, Mr. Tsukino was firing his Laser at 
the Cardien, ?Ahhhhh, this isn?t working.?

	Allen said, ?Relax pops, we just want your energy, not your 
life.?  

	Mr. Tsukino kept firing till the Cardien grabbed his gun.  he 
got up and started to try to run, but his pack was attached to the gun,
so he was going nowhere, till the cord snapped and he fell as Sammy 
shouted, ?DAD!?

	Darien took off his pack and threw it.  It hit the cardien in 
the back of the head, ?Back off hose head.?  the Cardien shot her hair 
at Darien.  he grabbed Sammy and went down dodging the vine like hair.

	Mr. Tsukino yelled, ?SAMMY RUN!!!?  the Cardien went after 
Darien and Sammy, but was stopped by a fire extinguisher as it hit the 
cardien in the back, ?Sammy, do as I say.  It?s time someone called in 
the exterminator.?  Mr. Tsukino picked up another fire extinguisher and
fired it at the Cardien, ?All right you over grown insect come to 
daddy.?  But the Cardien walked out of the fog the extinguisher made 
and grabbed Mr. Tsukino.

	?DAD, NO!!?   Sammy said as it grabbed him and Darien next.  
The fog cleared and the cardien began to drain their energy.  Once it 
drained  good portion of their energy, the cardien threw them into a 
wall.  Darien was the only one who managed to get up.

	Ann floated down, in her alien for and told the Cardien, ?Don?t
be too ruff, I like this one.?

	The Cardien said ok and Darien was ready to fight, ?Lets do 
it.?

	?You don?t want to mess with her,? Ann warned, as the Cardien 
attacked again with its tentacles.

	Darien dodged easily, ?Sure I do.?

	As he landed, someone behind him said, ?Think I?ll crash this 
party.?  Darien, Ann, and the Cardien turned to see who said that.

	Ann was enraged, ?You again!?!?  Can?t you Sailor brats bother 
someone else, Sailor Venus.

	?It?s time to take out the garbage around here.  We seem to be 
developing a problem with bugs.  I stand for Love and Justice, and your
about to bug off, I?m Sailor Venus, and I?ll punish you on behalf of 
Venus,? Sailor Venus said.

	?Well you?ve met your match Sailor Brat.  Nacrid?s tentacles 
will finish you off,? Ann said as the Cardien began to attack.  Mina 
went into action.

	?VENUS CRESCENT BEAM SMASH.?

	The attack only pushed Nacrid back a few feet, ?Oh boy.  I?m in
trouble.?

	Darien spoke up, ?Sailor Venus, you better think of something 
super fast.?  He?d heard of the Sailor Scouts, but never thought he?d 
meet one of them.

	?I?ll think of something,? Mina said just as the Cardien?s 
tentacles came at them and knocked them both off their feet.  The 
Cardien was about to go for the kill, when a white rose sped past its 
face.

	Everyone looked up to see the Moonlight Knight, ?Even the 
smallest flower can strike a deadly blow.  For in great beauty lies 
great strength.?

	Allen, in his alien disguise, stared at this guy, ?So who are 
you??

	?Like a hot dry wind blowing off the desert.  I am the 
Moonlight Knight,? he answered.

	?You tell them D......,? just then Mina saw Darien behind her, 
?What??

	?Who?s this nut ball?  The Sheik of Bagdad,? Darien asked.

	The Moonlight Knight walked up to Darien and said, ?I 
appreciate your assistants but humans alone can?t stand up to the power
of the Negaverse.  Stand aside and let me assist you.?  Just then the 
Cardien moved in to attack, ?I?m not looking for a fight,? he took out 
his sword, ?but since you started it, I?ll finish it.?  He jumped at 
the Cardien, and swung his sword, and landed on his feet.  The Cardien 
wondered what happened, till his tentacles fell off.

	The Cardien was not happy, ?Very impressive.?  The Cardien 
extended its tentacles and wrapped them around the Moonlight knight.

	?Somebody help him,? Venus Shouted.

	?MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST.?
	?MARS FIRE IGNITE.?

	The fog covered the Cardien, so she didn?t see the fire coming 
that severed her tentacles again.  The Scouts showed up and stood in 
front of Sailor Venus, with Jupiter in the front, ?Case you didn?t 
know, we?re the dream team.?

	?Be careful guys.  She?s tuff.  My crescent beam didn?t do much
good,? Sailor Venus warned.

	Mars said, ?Then lets double team it.?

	Venus said, ?Lets teach this nega-trash what the Sailor Scouts 
are all about.?

	?VENUS CRESCENT BEAM....?
	?JUPITER THUNDER....?

	?SMASH.?
	?CRASH.?

	The Cardien just managed to say, ?I?m one dead bug,? before it 
turned into a burnt out card and fell to the floor, from the 
electrified energy beam.

	Allen said, ?So you won this round Sailor Scouts.  Don?t worry 
we?ll be back.?  Allen and Ann then disappeared.

	?Sailor Scouts,? everyone turned to see the Moonlight Knight, 
?Your friendship is your greatest strength.  If you all stick together,
you?ll all be completely unstoppable.  Bye now.?  With that, he 
disappeared into thin air.  Emergency crew began to be heard as they 
came to the scene.  Darien turned to see them coming, and when he 
turned back to the Scouts, they were gone.

	Some time, back at the Tsukino house, Sammy?s mother was 
tending to his injuries, ?OUCH!! that hurts Mom.?

	?Hold still so I can take care of you,? Mrs. Tsukino said.

	Amy came bye earlier and was just then finishing up on Mr. 
Tsukino?s bandages, ?There you are Mr. Tsukino.  You should be good as 
new in a few days.?

	?Who ever thought we?d get hurt in a VR game,? Mr. Tsukino 
asked.

	?Thank you for coming over to help out Amy,? Mrs. Tsukino said.

	?It was my pleasure Mrs. Tsukino.  I bet Serena would have 
loved to see Sammy here squirming at your first aid on him,? Amy said 
in a little bit of laughter over how Sammy was looking.

	Ellen grew sad at this, ?Ya, your probably right, Amy.?

	?Listen I?d love to stay, but I got to get home and study.  Bye
Mrs. Tsukino,? Amy said as she left.

	When the front door closed Ellen began to wonder, (How did 
Serena come to have such good friends?).  Ellen shrugged it off at 
another, ?OUCH!!!!  MOM THAT HURRRRRTTTTSSS!!!!?

	?Sammy, your starting to sound like your sister,?  Ellen said 
as she went back to putting the bandages on.
