Miru Black Beyond I loved that day. If I didn't get a fainter, I got a screech, a yell, a pale face, etc. It was so fun to go through the rooms and surprise everyone. Neo-Queen Serenity was beyond estatic that I was okay. Like I was her own daughter or something. She hugged me until my face turned blue and it took Endymion, Mako, and Otome to convince her that I wasn't a dream and to let go, because I needed some oxygen to breathe. Chibi-usa hadn't changed. I watched her for a hour. Not even an eye movent. Just somewhere in the deepest of sleeps, caused by *my* enemy, not her's. it wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for that. After I left the Princess's room, I bumped into Sailor Pluto. "Sets! Long time no see." This time, I was able to greet her for the old friend she was. The sister in arms that she was. My Only Family. "It's about time you got your memories back." She said wryly. "I didn't know I'd have to wait for Kiori to show up again for you to remember." I stuck my tongue out at her. "Excuse me, your highness, for not realizing sooner that I'm more powerful than you and am able to kick your royal Plutoian highny." "Miru-chan... there's something I had to tell you." Her face was serious and sad. "I meant to before Kiori attacked the first time-- but I never got the chance." "What is it, Sets?" I asked softly. "Well-- it's silly, really." "If I remember correctly, nothing you ever say is 'just silly, really'." "Well, remember that thing we saw in the time streams right before he attacked?" "Yeah. I wondered about it, even when I shattered the Time Dome. Oh yeah. Sorry 'bout that." "It's okay. Well, I found out what it was." "What?" "The Explosion of Titan." "Setsuna-- we knew it was going to explode anyway. Bad Galaxy. I set the comet on course to hit it's sun-- remember?" "Well-- it didn't go the way we planned." "What do you mean?" "When your comet hit it created a sort of warp called Negaverse. I tried to stop it but only you've got that power." "Shit." "Yup." "What do we do?" "*You* get rid of Kiori. Then we'll take care of the warp." "You sure?" "Hey, it's been there a few hundred thousand years. Why not a bit longer?" "Okay, Sets. You da boss, girlfriend." "Remember that next time I tell you to do something." *********************** I did this? I created the nega-verse? Ooo boy, was Serenity going to be pissed when she heard *that* dandy bit of information. Or not. I had been able to observe this woman, upon whom the world was placed. She lived up to her name, unless those she cared about were in danger. And then, let's just say I didn't want to be the object of her displeasure. Because I was sure that once she got ahold of Kiori, if I didn't get to him first, he was not going to have a nice day. Believe me, I would make sure of it. He was going to have the worst day of his life, so help me. And according to me, he's had a few bad days. The last one I remember was the irony as I blew up the time dome, sending the time stream off-course... *** Flashback *** Kiori stood above me, in mid air as he crowed about what he was going to do. I could feel the sheer power of his aura and Pluto and I both knew we were in trouble. He was in the Time Dome, where life and death is created, where the destinys and fates of everything if foretold and where everything originates. If he destroyed us, the world would never have existed. "Century, we're in trouble." Pluto whispered. "No kidding." I snapped, trying to think. "Once I kill you, Pluto, and torture Century for a while, I will have the ultimate powers." He crowed. "We can't fight him. We'll loose for sure!" A million thoughts raced through my mind. Nothing short of destroying the world would kill him. Or... maybe... "Pluto, I know this isn't the smartest thing to do, but it's the only way." "What-- oh, Century, no..." "Yes. I'm going to blow it up myself. If it's destroyed by one of us we'll be able to put it back together easier." "But Cen-- you could be killed!" "I know. It's a chance I must take." I took out my glaive. "Oh, look. Little Miss Century is going to try and kill me. I'm shaaaaking!" "I would be if I were you!" I screamed. "Dark After...." "Wha?" Kiori gasped as the darkness was suddenly sucked out of the room, the planet, the whole universe, nearly, and began to compact itself into a neat sphere that hovered dangerously over my glaive, waiting it's command as it grew. "Pluto, get out of here." I said smoothly. "You know what will happen when it breaks. I might be able to stand it, but you won't. GET OUT OF HERE." The energy was lashing out against my restraints, ordering, demanding it be released. "Goodbye, Century." She whispered, and vanished into one of her portals. Kiori was screaming at her, screaming at me, wanting to know what the f*ck I was doing. "I'm going to kill you." I replied. The gatehring was complete. I gave my order. "Implosion." There was a second of silence, like one had fallen deaf. And then all hell erupted. The dome shattered, like glass. It's shards flew like razors, slicing through Kiori until I was sure nothing remained of him except for a bloody mess of pulp. And then, it hit me. There was no time for pain. Just darkness-- And then a blinding white light. *** End Flashback*** It must have been hell to clean up and restruct. I wish I could of helped her. After all, it was *my* mess. I'm sure she'll take me back in time to do it. Or maybe she won't. Who can tell? She's so damn inpredictable. It always got on my nerves. "Miru! Miru, snap out of it!" Haruka was waving a hand in front of my face. I realized I'd been daydreaming. Or day- nightmaring. Whatever. "What's wrong, Ruka?" "A youma attack." "And? Can't the others get it?" "Uh-uh, Miru. It has hostages. And it's demanding you." ~*~*~*~*~*~ I was stunned. Never, EVER, had I thought Kiori would pull a stunt like that. He had always been one to get to the battle quickly, never to draw it out. His favorite motto must have been "Show no mercy and take no hostages. And don't wait for the whites of their eyes." I didn't hesitate to transform to Century, and follow Sailor Uranus. She led me through a near labyrinth of Crystal Tokyo streets, to a district I'd never ever dared to think about venturing into. "Who's on this?" I whispered, as we slipped as silently as we could through the infamous 'Black Zone' of the pure city. "The ones who can take it. Neptune. Saturn. You. Me. Mars and Jupiter. We would have got Venus but she's busy." "This is bad, you know." I said, and her face seemed to show that she had seen worse, but I was dead right. "Yeah." She answered softly. "We've never had a youma in this section before. We don't know how the locals will take it." She added, a bit dryly. "Surely they'll stay out of the way." "Not if one of their own is in danger." "You're right." Gangs were actually very close knit groups. "If they get in the way..." I couldn't finish that statement. "There it is." I saw it. A typical youma-- if you didn't notice the handsome man in dark clothing floating in the air above, watching as the senshi tried to reason with him. His youma had a woman in her twenties in it's clutches, and instead of the pale-faced terror that should have been there, her face was dark with anger. Anger? She was rather pretty, with long feiry hair and emerald eyes. She wore a long red dress. "I'm here, Kiori. Let her go!" I called. "Oh, Century. You're late. Let me guess-- you were daydreaming." He taunted. "You know me too well, Kiori." I frowned. Kiori gave the youma a slight signal, and the woman was dropped roughly to the ground. "You trash!" she growled, and an unearthly glow settled in the air around her. "This cannot be good." Kiori mutttered faintly. "Galaxia Eternal Make up!" This surprised the two inner senshi. I saw them jerk in surprise. "Princess Kakyuu?!" Mars gasped. "Another senshi. Where the hell did they dig this one up?" Kiori yelled. The youma backed up. "Hey, lady!" As Princess Kakyuu transformed, I turned around to see who was calling whom. "Are you Queen Miru of the Drifts?" A nice looking young man asked me, and I noticed how he looked so familar, with blonde hair and green eyes-- "I was once called that, yes." To my complete surprise, he knelt before me. "Century, who the hell is that?" Uranus asked me. "Good question." "I am..." he stood up, and all too late I realized what he was. "Your destiny." Swifter than any, he lashed out at me. I moved to dodge, and he flew out, striking Kiori. Huh? All of a sudden, a calm came over me, and my face tingled, and goosbumps appeared on my arms. A scent that no longer made me sick came on the breeze. A scent that was now more a part of me, as Century. The scent of death. The man vanished. I knew then I would never see him again. A divine intervention by the Ary. Kiori fell to the ground. Galaxia crushed the youma. Dark violet blood began to make a poul around his limp body. I walked over, and looked into his eyes. "You'll deal with... Mistress... now..." He gasped, his hands over the fatal wound in his chest. "She'll defeat you where I could not." "Don't count on it." I told him coolly. "I'll see you in hell, Kiori. Good-bye." The last of his life drained from him. The too-sweet scent faded from the breeze as Death moved for another victim. Avenged. ~*~*~*~*~ Away in a Dark Universe sperate from our own, a fgure appeared, laughing. "She thinks she killed me..." "Master?" A voice came, and the form of a young man was seen. "You did well. Now we will sit back and watch my minions take over." ~*~*~*~*~ End Part Six. Ooo... dontcha just hate it when those evil characters never seem to die? This will be the end for a while. Look for Miru: The Rebirth. Coming soon to an ASMR near you! ::sweatdrops:: Been watching too much DBZ again. Sorry.
