Hauntings Lady of the Black Rose Ladynorose@hotmail.com ~*~*~*~*~*~ Part 4 Heyyas! Hmm. *looks around warily* No flying fruit. This is odd. I was sure I saw an angry mob somwhere-- Oh well! I just have to say this: If you haven't read Don's stories, I demand that you do so. He is a great author. Sailor Moon isn't mine! *SPLAT* *Rose wipes the tomato remains from her face* I KNEW IT AS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! ~*~*~*~*~*~ "Pyro, help.... us-- please..." Sailor Moon gasped. "I am trying! VORTEX SPARKLING FLAME!" The monster just laughed and tried to grab her again. "EUPHONY CHIMES!" Sailor Melody yelled. The monster dropped the senshi and threw it's hands to it's head, squeezing it. Aqua swore she saw smoke trailing from it's ears. "TSUNAMI RAGE ENGULF!" "FIRE SOUL!" "SUPREME THUNDER!" "CRESENT BEAM!" They hit it from all directions. Sailor Moon began to power up her tiara. "MOON TIARA ACTION!" She yelled. The monster gave one last cry of pain and terror as it melted into dust. Sailor Moon expertly caught the tiara and returned it to her forehead. "You were really brave, Sailor Melody." Pyro told the newest senshi. "I just got so angry-- I didn't really know what I was doing-- and that wand thingie appeared-- I just said those words-- Wow." "Welcome to the Nuthouse. I'm Sailor Mercury." ~*~*~*~*~*~ "So, two mor. Thunda and Ice." Usagi mumbled sleepily. She, Minako, and Rei were staying with Iris, because Iris lived by herself. She had done with by impersonating her mother, who had abadoned her. Makoto was staying with Daphne, and Ami with Rebecca, who was Sailor Melody. "Yuppers. Now, where did I put that remote- - REI!!" Minako shouted. "It's by the Fridge!" "Thanx!" Minako grabbed the remote and began fliping channels. "Sci-fi--no. History-- no. FOX--no. Toons-- yup." Usagi said. Minako stopped, and they watched Daffy get shot by Elmer Fudd a few thousand times. Iris came in, hair dripping. "Any hot water left?" Minako asked. "Not in the shower, but if you'd like, Me and Rei could do something." Iris replied dryly and plopped down beside them. "So, got a boyfriend?" Minako asked, her eyes not wandering from the TV. "As if." "I do. he's the perfect guy--" "In all means except for the little fact he doesn't remember you." Rei cut off Usagi's sentense. "YOU ARE SO MEeeEEEeeeEEEEEeeEEEEEeeAAAAaaaaaAAAAaaNNNNNN!" Usagi wailed. "ODANGO ATAMA!" "PYRO!" "In the name of Daphne, I resent that." Iris mumbled. "Ack. Have any ear plugs?" Minako asked. "Nope. They do this often?" Iris asked. "Yup." "My neighbors are gonna be pissed." "Yup." "Turn the TV up." ~*~*~*~*~*~ "Have you been a Sailor Senshi long?" Makoto asked. "Not really. Just for about a week. Iris and I found out who we were when a monster attacked our school." Daphne answered. They were in her room, looking through magizines. "Was Iris a friend?" "No, she was a new kid. Different from all the other kids. They made fun of her. Still do. I get it too, but not as much." Daphne answered. "This isn't exactly the most accepting place. Anyone different gets snubbed." "Back home, you could have green skin and pink hair and no one would take a second look." "In Tokyo? But I though everone looked the same! Short, with black hair." "Not Tokyo. The Old Palace." Makoto said whistfully. "The others don't remember anything but the Last Battle with Beryl, but I can remember everything. It was so nice up there. We were given only the best of everything, could do anything we liked, whether our teacher liked it or not. I really, really hate Beryl." "What was it like?" Daphne asked. "My mother was the Queen of Jupiter. Her name was Hera. Or Juno, as the Romans called her. You know the Greek myths?" "Yup." "They are true. They're all about the Silver Millenium, though. And they were not Gods. Just very special people. And Queen Serenity, she had white blonde hair in Odangos--" FLASH! Daphne saw a tall, regal woman in a dress of white, holding the Moon Crystal-- "And her daughter was Usagi, Princess Serenity--" FLASH! Daphne saw a young girl in a white dress, holding a sword to her stomach, ctting through the silky fabric, as a man with chiseled features lay dead at her feet-- "We were her main protectors--" FLASH! Daphne saw four girls, looking like the inner senshi, standing in a line, facing certain death before a Shadow Warrior, a nasty woman, taller than the palce, behind that-- "The palace was wonderful, with gardens unlike any ever grown--" FLASH! Daphne saw soldiers, in Earthly uniform, tramping through magnificent rose gardens and into the main hall, where dream couples were dancing-- "And the palaces on the other planets were almost as beautiful--" FLASH! Images of castles crumbling, toxic fumes rushing in as people screamed and ran for their lives-- "PLEASE! Please, stop! No more--" Daphne cried. "Wha-- What is it?" Makoto asked. "I saw-- I saw--" Daphne began crying. Morew images filled her head-- more and more-- she could see them all- but one stuck out at her. She saw herself and four other women, two of them Melody and Aqua-- battling against dark creatures-- watching, remembering as they were slowly tired and slain-- saw how the outer senshi died a similar death-- remembered it all-- "Saw what?!" Makoto asked. "You're worrying me!" "Saw you die-- Saw Aqua die-- saw Neptune die-- saw myself die-- saw everyone dying-- Saturn before she could turn her glaive--" "Saturn? You remember Saturn?! Not even Luna remembers the outer senshi!" "I saw how they won." The tears ceased to fall. A look of utter hatred glowed in her eyes. "Mako, do you remember just WHO Beryl was?" ~*~*~*~*~*~ "So, you are Sailor Mercury. This is just so unbelievible. This is scientficly impossible!" "You like Science?" Ami asked. "Do I? What an understatemnt!" Rebecca yelled. She ran to he bookcase and began pulling out thick book on Quantum Physics and other topics of which I have no clue about. And so she and Ami got started in a debate on Eistien's Theroy of Realitivity. And we'll leave them, cuz if I tried to make a sensible converstaion of that I'd be making a total fool out of myself. ~*~*~*~*~*~ Okay! No real cliffhanger-- just some dead ends. I swear that the next part will be out next Sunday! ~*~*~*~*~*~
