Author's Note:
      Hola! I was bored so I decided to write a short story, something that
doesn't take many chapters... This one is about Serena(Lita, Mina, Amy, and
Raye r in it 2) and Darien before they fell madly in love and stuff... Okay?
Alrighty, lets get this over with.

                                     Falling In love In Less Than 24 Hours

             The sun backed behind the clouds, hiding it's view from Tokyo.
The air was blowing rather strong and it was telling everybody that a storm
was coming. You could smell it in the air, a storm that wasn't going to be
very pretty.
             For a fourteen year old girl, this meant hell. Pure hell. For
this person was absolutely terrified of lightning, and she knew that this
storm was going to be jam packed with it. Funny though, one of her best
friend's was a lightning girl, but that doesn't mean she loved lightning.
Actually, when Lita, her lightning loving friend, did her attack, she was
paralyzed. Her eyes would widen, tidal waves of fear rushed over her body,
not
allowing her to attack or run.
             Poor Serena, nobody knew how scared she was of lightning.
Everybody just thought of it as one of mother nature's finer points. For
Serena, though, it was a deadly item made up of pure electricity.
Electricity
that would mostly knock people down to the ground dead.
             The cold air blew against her frozen face. Serena's two golden
pigtails flopped side to side as she rain down the street. "Of all days to
have to go shopping. Why couldn't Sammy's birthday be next Sunday?" She
cried
to herself, picking up her pace. Serena could hear a little voice inside her
mind, the voice of her cat Luna. "You know Serena, if you would have been
responsible and gotten your birthday shopping done last week, you wouldn't
have to go out in this storm." She heard Luna saying to her. Another one of
her stupid lectures of maturity.
             CRASH! The storm had started, all to soon for the now fear
stricken girl. "No! Don't start yet! Wait till I get back home!" Serena
thought to herself, running as fast as her legs could carry her. Closing her
eyes, she darted down the street--
running straight into someone. She slipped, due to the rain on the sidewalk,
and fell straight on her bottom. Grabbing her now scattered presents, she
yelled to the individual, "MOVE IT OR LOSE IT!!!" "EXCUSE me Meatball head!"
A
male voice mocked back at her. "It's Darien. Of all times." Serena thought
to
herself. "Look Darien, I'm going to get out of this storm as soon as I can.
So
if you let me by jer--" "Nuh uh. What's the magic word dear Meatball Head?"
Serena jumped as another lightning crashed down. She could feel the energy
from the bolts of electricity calling her name out, and she knew if she
didn't
get cover soon she was going to be toasted. "Please oh mighty Darien, but if
you don't move I'm going to have to beat the SHI--" "No swearing Serena.
It's
not proper for a young lady." The man shook his finger at Serena, as if she
was nothing more than a five year old girl being disciplined. "DARIEN! MOVE
IT!" He just jumped in front of every move Serena made, not allowing her to
pass. Darien cocked his head back and laughed. CRASH! Serena jumped up,
throwing her things everywhere, and landed straight in Darien's arms. A
bright
red came across her face as she slowly got out of his arms. Darien smiled.
He
watched the girl gather her stuff and realized something that shocked him.
He
actually liked having the ditz in his arms. "Uhhh.. Um.. Your scared of
thunder aren't ya?" Darien asked Serena, helping her gather her items. "More
than you'll ever know Darien. So please, let me by..." Serena looked up at
Darien, tears glistened her eyes. "Please Darien." Darien's heart became
soft,
something he never felt before. "I'm sorry Serena. I really am. I didn't
know
you were so scared. Hey, my car is parked down the street, I'll drive you
home." Darien offered. Serena raised her brow, not sure if he was serious or
not. She would take the chance.
                Arriving at the Tsukino house, Darien slowly stopped his
car.
"Hey Serena, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you upset. I really didn't."
Darien said softly, not sure what he was doing. His brain has lost all
control
on his body. "Darien...." Serena said slowly, something was making her heart
beat faster. She looked up at Darien and smiled. Than something happened,
something she could kill herself for, she kissed him on his cheek. "What was
that for?" Darien asked with shock. "I don't know. It just happened." Serena
said, with a big sweatdrop on her head. "I liked it." Darien said, rubbing
his
cheek. *WHAT DID I JUST SAY?!?* Darien scolded himself. Serena blushed, but
smiled also. "From a jerk to a prince all in one hour." Serena said with a
giggle. "Well good-bye Darien." Serena opened the door and waved as she
walked
into her house. "What is wrong with me?! That didn't happen!! Nu uh!! God, I
don't like that ditz.. She fails school, falls, whines, and she is a baby.
Yet
she is beautiful, like a princess. She cheers people up when they're down.
Oh
god, am I falling in love in less than an hour?!" Darien thought to himself.
He shook his head, knowing that this was all to weird.
             Serena looked outside, than at her watch. It's been raining for
more than two hours. Her mind ran over the things that happened earlier that
day. "Darien... What are you doing to me?" Serena let out a sigh. "Come on
storm, lighten up for just a while." Beep, beep. Serena looked down at her
communicator. "Serena, there is an attack at Crown Point Center. See ya
there,
okay?" Amy said to Serena. "No problem Ames! I was getting bored anyway!"
Serena jumped up and cried out "Moon Prism Power!"
             "It's about time Sailor Moon!! Next time, why don't you send a
postcard on your little trip over here!" Mars cried out as Serena bounced
down
from a rooftop. "Oh shut up pryo! You know you missed me?" Sailor Moon
giggled, but she stop after she saw the youma. It was tall, about the size
of
the Crown Point Center itself. It was furry, and had razor sharp teeth and
claws shimmering with blood. "Oh god..." Sailor Moon said. CRASH! "Ahh!! A
butt ugly youma and a lightning storm! What a perfect match!" Cried Sailor
Moon. "Jupiter Thunder Crash!" Jupiter cried as lightning came together into
a
small disc. "ZAP!" Jupiter stepped back and than heaved the electric disc at
the youma. "Grr yakdo... Kioma inko!" Yelled the youma at the senshi. "Come
on
youma! Give me a break! I got a D- in English, you think I can understand
that?!" Yelled Sailor Moon at the beast. "Venus Love Chain!!" Screamed
Sailor
Venus as a chain of hearts surrounded her body. "Encircle!!" She pointed at
the youma and the chain surrounded the monster's body, trapping him. "Finish
him Sailor Moon!" Cried out Mercury. "Right!" Sailor Moon shouted back to
her
friend. "Moon Tiara Magic!!!" "KYOU ETOH!!!!" Screamed the youma as it
vaporized into nothing more than dust. "Very well Sailor Moon." Said a man
in
a black tux. "Tuxedo Mask!" Said Sailor Moon, two hearts appearing in her
eyes. Tuxedo Mask bounded down towards her, handing her a single rose. "Um..
Tuxedo Mask, can we talk?" Asked Sailor Moon, flashing her friends a
leave-us-
alone-so-we-can-talk glance.
               "Tuxedo Mask, we've been fighting with each other for who
knows
how long, and I still don't know who you are." Began Sailor Moon as they
walked down the path in the park. "And you point being?" Tuxedo Mask asked
the
pigtailed girl. "I don't know what to say.. I'm speechless at how to tell
you
this..." Sailor Moon started. "One.. Two.. Three.." She whispered to
herself.
"I love you Tuxedo Mask. I love you with all my heart, but I don't want to
love a hidden man. I want to love someone I don't have to call by his hero
name. What I am saying is that I'm going to show you who I am, and I was
wondering," Sailor Moon dug her boot into the wet earth. "If you would show
me
who you are." Tuxedo Mask took all this in. He smiled down at Sailor Moon,
his
heart thumping rapidly inside his chest. He loved the girl, yes, but what if
she found out Tuxedo Mask wasn't all she thought he was. "I guess so.." He
mumbled to her. "Great!!" Sailor Moon said. She slowly transformed into her
human figure, Serena Tsukino.
             "S E R E N A ! ? ! ? ! ? ! ? ! ? !" Tuxedo Mask gawked. "The
one
and only." Giggled Serena. "Now it's your turn. Who are you with that mask
off?" Tuxedo Mask took a trembling hand up to his face and took off his
mask.
"D A R I E N ! ? ! ? ! ? ! ? ! ? ! ? !" Yelled Serena. "NO!!!! YOU CAN'T BE
TUXEDO MASK!!!!!!!" Darien frowned. "Who were you expecting Meatball Head?
Elvis?"
           Serena didn't know what to say. She loved Tuxedo Mask, but she
didn't know about Darien. Darien was the jerk who always teased her, taunted
her, making her life a living hell. Yet sometimes he was so very sweet to
her,
going out of the way to make her feel good. "Am I in love with him or not?
You
can't fall in love with someone in less than twenty four hours. It takes
time,
doesn't it?" Serena asked herself. "So..." Darien muttered. "So...." Serena
muttered back. "I have something to tell you." They both said to each other
in
unison. "You go first. You know, lady's first." Darien said. "Dumb rule...
all
right, here I go. Darien, you've messed with me for the longest time, but I
don't care. I still care for you even though you can be a total jerk with a
minus zero personality, I still will and always will care for you. Something
in my gut tells me that we are made for each other, I'm not sure if it's
true,
or not, but I'm going to trust my instincts. I love Tuxedo Mask, and now
that
I think about it, I think I love you too, Darien. Okay, that's all I have to
say." Serena finished, barely above a whisper. "Your turn." Darien swallowed
and began. "I love you." And that was it. Serena stifled a laugh. "Is that
it?" Serena asked him. Darien shook his head. "Than what else?" She
questioned
him. "This." He said, and than took her into a long kiss. A kiss that burn a
fire in their souls, a kiss that awakened all their hidden emotions, a kiss
that began a thousand years ago and would keep on lasting a thousand years
from now. Both came up for air, but smiling happily. "I love you Serena
Usagi
Tsukino." Darien told his future wife to come. "I love you Darien Mamoru
Chiba." Serena told her lover, friend, husband in the distant years, and
soulmate.

Heh.. that sucked.. I know. Tell me what ya think! I know I used attacks
from
Sailor MoonS, but oh well. I just like some attacks, and not. Okay? This was
suppose to take place before Serena could use the Moon Scepter and stuff.
