Author's Note: Just so I don't get sued, all characters and stuff belong to all the people who copywrited it.^_^ Though, the story line is mine, and only mine. So please don't snatch it from me. =( Anyways, this is part one of "Unrealized Love". I'd probably rate it, PG, though, the parts following it, (part2 or 3) will probably either be rated-R or hentai, even. Well, hope you all enjoy it. ^_^ Unrealized Love PART ONE by Galaxia Star Usagi watched the moon, through her window, as it shone brightly in the night sky. She thought about everything that had happened recently. For instance, who was Chibi-Chibi really? And what about the Starlights? Were they their friends, or foes? And why hadn’t Mamo-chan written her yet? So many questions, yet not a single answer. She closed her eyes and let out a soft sigh. Suddenly, she heard a soft tap. She opened her eyes and looked around. Nothing. She looked out of the window. Nothing, again. she mused as she padded slowly to her bed. Then, she heard it again. A sharp tap. It had come from the window. She spun around and rushed to the window. She gripped the handle, and swung it open. She bent over the sill and looked over. Standing beneath her, was a familiar shadowed figure. "What are you doing here? It’s the middle of the night, Seiya!" she hissed. "I know. I had to see you. Don’t ask me why, I just did. So, if it’s so late, why are you up?" replied Seiya. She sighed, slightly annoyed. "I was thinking, that’s all." "You, thinking? That’s a first" she heard a low chuckle. "Can I come up ? It’s freezing out here!" "Are you crazy? If my parents saw you in my room, they’d kill us both!" "Then you come down. We can take a walk. Down by the shore." He suggested. "I thought you said you were cold!" she countered. "It is. We can go to my place, instead. Yaten and Taiki are out, so we’d have the place to ourselves. I’ll even make some hot chocolate milk. How does that grab you?" he asked. Usagi thought for a moment, then made a decision. She closed the window, turned around and slipped out of her nighty, and into a pair of jeans and a white sweater with pink bunnies on it. She opened her door stealthily, hoping not to awaken Luna or her parents, and walked silently down the steps. Downstairs, she unlocked the door and slipped out of the house. Outside, she looked around for Seiya. "Boo!" he touched her shoulders, and she jumped up, frightened. "Don’t do that again!" she hissed as she slapped his hand playfully. He let out a laugh, and took her hand and kissed it. She pulled back, embarrassed. "Come on, let’s go." He said. They headed down the walk way, towards his apartment building. As the walked silently down the path, Usagi took a moment to observe the ring that Mamoru had given her. Before, it used to shine brightly, like her love for him, but now, it was dull and lifeless. She turned her head slightly, and watched Seiya. His features were gentle now, not hard, sarcastic or uncaring like usual. A warm feeling filled Usagi, sort of like when she was around Mamoru. Seiya glanced at her and noticed that she was starring at him. "Watcha looking at, Odanga?" he asked, playfully. "Don’t call me that!" she snapped, and she turned away. "Aw, come on, Usagi. I didn’t mean anything by it! I was just teasing!" he said. She looked at him again, and he smiled at her. She let out a sigh and she threw up her hands in a surrendering fashion. "Fine! I give up!" she giggled. "Good." Laughed Seiya. He held out his hand, and Usagi took it, and they walked hand in hand. Soon, it became even colder, and Usagi shivered as a cool wind blew. Seiya pulled off his jacket and offered it to her. She looked at him, slightly shocked. "But aren’t you cold? You were before you came and got me!" she said, surprised. "Yeah, but you risked getting in trouble to come outside with me. It’s the least I can do." He helped her put the jacket on, and she thanked him. They continued walking, and Usagi leaned against Seiya, trying to keep him warm, and maybe, just maybe, trying to be closer to him. Soon, they reached his apartment building, and they walked inside. They stepped into the small elevator, and Seiya pushed the button to his floor. There was an uncomfortable silence, till the doors swung open. Seiya gestured for Usagi to go first, then he followed. He took out his keys and opened the door. Inside, it was dark. Usagi felt around for a light switch, and when she felt a small knob under her fingertips, she flicked it upwards. To her surprise, the fireplace lit up, and some slow, romantic music began to play. She turned to Seiya, who was smiling slyly. "That never happened before!" he said in a mock tone. Usagi looked at him suspiciously as he walked into the kitchen. He came back with a tray which had to mugs on it, and a bag of marshmallows, "Hmmm, I wonder who could have put this out?" he wondered, smiling. He motioned to Usagi to sit down on the couch, and she complied. She looked around the room in some wonder. It was a beautiful apartment, nicely decorated too. Seiya sat down beside her, and offered her one of the mugs. "Thanks" she said as she took a sip. She turned to Seiya, who, in turn, was starring at her. He extended his hand and slowly ran his finger down the side of her face. She shivered slightly. "Are you cold?" he asked suddenly. She shook her head. "Oh, okay." He turned away and took a sip from his own mug. "Usagi..." he looked up at her, his eyes sparkling. "I...I don’t think you realize this....but..." he trailed off. "What, Seiya?" she asked curiously. "Well...I love you." He said simply. Usagi placed her cup down slowly. "This has been a night full of surprises..." she commented to herself. She looked into Seiya’s eyes, and realized, for the first time, how beautiful they, and he was. "I...I never realized before now...but I think I love you, too Seiya." She whispered. Suddenly, Seiya leaned forward and kissed her softly on the lips. She leaned back, slightly startled, then she returned his kiss.
