Hi People! This is chapter 21 of 'It Has Begun' by Destiny Star*
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year.
All the same stuff! Thank You so much to Julie Osborn, who agreed to
send all the old chapters into ASMR for me. Thank You Thank You Thank You
You will make many people happy and my life just that bit easier.

Chapter 21

                                It Has Begun
                                 Time Trip


    "Do you remember the time I pushed you into the Palace fountain!?"
Serena said between a laugh. "Hai, that water was sooo cold!" Darien
shivered to make his point, causing Serena to burst out laughing once
more. On the ground Luna shifted her position next to Serena's leg
and continued to doze. On the other side of Darien Jade sat in the 
grass with his head resting on his paws, his green jade collar matching
the grass perfectly. 

  Last night Darien had dreamed his memories just as Reona had said.
Jade sat at the end of the bed and watched his charge toss and turn
the whole night. Now in the light of the afternoon day Darien and Serena
sat in the park talking about their past. Serena leaned into Darien's 
arms. "I'm so glad you remember your past, my Love." she whispered. 
Darien rested his head against hers and sighed. "I too, Serena" The two 
stayed like that for several minutes before Serena's brow frowned and 
her eyes blinked open. "Are you four just going to stand there all day 
or are you planning to say something eventually?" she asked to 
seemingly no one. 

  In surprise Darien sat up and looked behind them, much to Serena's
annoyance. The Earth Guard stood behind the two with sheepish smiles on
their faces. "Ummm, we thought we just stand behind you and be quiet
til one of you sensed us." laughed Justin. Zach made a face of disgust
and Serena started to laugh again. Shaking his head Nathan whacked
Zach in the shoulder to make him stop. "Ouwwwwww!" "Oh, I didn't hit
you that hard!" said Nathan. "It was hard enough!!!" yelled Zach.
Unable to hold it in any longer Darien began to laugh, trying to hid it
by resting his head on the back rail of the bench. 

  Suddenly Serena's head popped up and she tipped it to the side as if
listening to something far away. "What is it Serena?" asked Mike with
a glare at the others. Serena smiled. "Wait for it." They gave her a 
puzzled look just as a strong voice rang out across the park.
"Serennnnnnaaaaaaa!!!!" yelled Lita as she and Amy rounded a bend of
the park path and came into view. On the ground Luna groaned and 
covered her ears with her paws muttering something about the need for
tape. Amy shook her head to get the ringing out of her ears. 
"Hey Li" said Nathan as Lita stepped into his arms for a greeting hug.
Amy did the same and Zach pressed a kiss into her short hair.
"Have lots of homework?" he asked as he took her bag. He looked inside
and then grinned at Amy causing her to blush. The bag was empty!


  "I sat there in class today and watched her do ALL of her homework in
a 15 minute period. Isn't that a record or something?" said Lita. 
Amy covered her eyes with her hand and shook her head. Serena smiled.
"I take it you didn't want to have to do it later so you did all in
class." she said. Amy smiled at her gratefully. "Yes, I didn't want to
have to leave early tonight to do my homework." Serena nodded.
"Raye and Mina are coming now." Serena said suddenly. The two girls
walked into site just as Serena said it. "How does she do that?!"
exclaimed Lita. "Practice and more practice." answered Serena. 


   "Hey Friends!" said Mina with her 'V' for victory sign. She hugged
Mike and then latched on to his arm, Artemis was forced to jump down.
"We would have been here sooner if 'Ice Cream' girl over here hadn't
dragged me into the Crown Center for vanilla!" said Raye from next to
Justin. Mina stuck her tongue out at her. "It gets worse and worse
every day with that girl!" muttered Artemis as he sat down next to 
Luna. "I heard that you white puff ball!" yelled Mina. Shaking his 
head Artemis nudges Luna with a paw. Luna rolls away from him and
mutters something that he can't understand. "What she say?" he asks.
"Leave me alone you white puff ball." Serena translates Luna's half awake
and half asleep language. "White puff ball!!!!!!" cries Artemis.
"Monkey hear, Monkey say." laughs Raye. "Who you calling Monkey??"
yells a very awake Luna. Everyone erupts into laughter.

 "Don't rotate your shoulder so much when you shift forward." said
Serena. Amy swung again and her staff connected hard with Serena's own.
"Good!, Amy! Do it again." said Serena. The staffs connected harder this
time and Serena is forced to step back. "Much better Ams!" 


  Once again I shift uncomfortably on the bench. It been about two hours
since Serena and the others entered the gym to start training and every
minute that passes seems to make me more and more nervous.
And I can't figure out why! Onyx picks up her head and looks at me
in annoyance. "What is the matter with you, Reona? You never had a 
problem with sitting still before. Why the ants in the pants now?"
I shake my head. "I have no idea, Onyx. I'm just unable to sit." I said.
"Maybe you're sensing something but don't know what it is so your
fidgeting." Said Luna as she watched Serena jumped cleanly over Amy's
staff when she tried to get a shot at Serena's feet. I shrugged and
rested my chin in my palm but Luna's suggestion echoed in my mind.
'sensing something......don't know what.......so your fidgeting'
<That would make perfect sense, wouldn't it.> I thought. 


  I wasn't paying any attention so I didn't notice Eric sit next to me
til he rested his hand on my shoulder. I started and bit my lip.
"Ouwwww!" I whispered so I didn't distract Serena. "I'm sorry I didn't
mean to scare you, Love." said Eric with concern. Tentatively he touched
my lip and whipped away the blood. "Its alright, Eric. I wasn't paying
attention to anything. Its not your fault." I said as I leaned into his
arms. Eric smiled and hugged me to his side. <Now, I'll stop fidgeting.>
I thought. But to my dismay I found myself moving around no matter 
how much I tried to sit still. "Are you alright, Reona?" asked Eric.
"She's been moving around for the last few hours." answered Onyx as
she got up and rested her paw on my knee. "I don't know what it is."
I said with a sigh. Eric put his head on top of mine. "Its okay, Love"
I sighed again. "Gee, you think I was sensing something big, like
lots of Raths or Yomas." I said in a joke. As soon as the words left
my mouth a sharp tingle pasted through my body and I jerked up right.


   "Oh My God!" I cried just as the high pitched alarm of Bit rang
though the manor. At the alarm Amy started and tipped over, the staff
fling from her hand. Serena calmly stepped out of the ring and let her
staff fall to the floor. "Come" she commanded to the Inner Scouts.
Amy picked herself up off the floor and the others stood to follow
her out the door. I was already racing down the hall as Serena lead
the Inner Scouts out the door. The whole Star Manor converged on the
Computer Room. 


   I raced in. "Bit!" I screamed. The alarm shut off and was replaced
by the computer's voice. "We've got big trouble in the park."
"Let me guess, the same place they attacked the night of the concert."
said Serena as she came in followed by the Inner Scout. "Bingo"
Walking farther into the room Serena points to the round table in the 
middle of the room. "Sit" she says to the Inner Scouts. The four do as 
told and the Earth Guard comes and stands next to each of them. 
"Its alright." Mike says into Mina's worried eyes. "What's going on?" 
asks Amy. "An attack." answers Zach.


  "Give me my eyes and ears, Serena!" I yell. Serena sits in a chair 
and rolls it across the floor to the computer. Her hands fly over the
panel. I walk up behind her and rest my hands on the back of her chair,
leaning over her head. Darien walks up on the other side and look at
the screen, Jade next to him. The blank screen lights up showing the
park and a large black portal. "Is that the only portal they can use?"
asks a sarcastic Raye. "Looks that way, doesn't?" says Lita. 

  The hill is once again covered in Yoma and Rath, Toris being in the
lead. I let out a long sigh. "Here we go again." I mutter. "What is that?"
asks Onyx next to me. "Where?" asks Serena with a glance down at her.
Onyx rests her front paws on the computer. "There, to the right and in
the air." Serena adjusts the screen so it focuses in on the spot. 
Floating in the air are three figures. "Oh No." I whisper. Serena's
face darkens. "Who are they?" asks Amy. "Emerald, Sapphire, and Prince
Diamond, very bad problems." I said. "Do you want sound?" asks Serena.
"NO, no, that's okay." I say in a hurry. "Why?" asks Mina. I cringe, 
look helplessly at Serena, and give a small nod. Serena turns the sound
on and Emerald's high pitched laugh echos across the room. 
"We are in big trouble!" I yell. "Henshin Yo!" This time everyone
knows the command.


 
   Each of us stand and cry out our own phrase. The colors of the planets
rap around each of their own, covering them and making their Sailor Fuku. 
Silver, Gold, and White ribbons curl around us and flash. Colors mix in
the air to paint the room and twist together til each of us stands
as a Sailor Guardian, Sailor Scout, or Knight. "Lets go!" I yell.

  Going to the far side of the room I push a button and part of the wall
raises up. We rush through the park 'til we are once again standing
on the rise looking down on into a field filled with monsters.
"As before, stay in two's. Everyone stay in two's." I stressed the last
part to the Inner Scout, letting them know they were going to.
The Earth Guard moved to stand behind the Inner Scouts. With a sharp
nod to Sailor Moon and Sailor Light we raise our staffs. "Together."
Sailor Moon calls. "Now!" The colors of each planet rush down the hill
as everyone makes an attack at once. The large blast of mixed powers
plows into the line, making our presence known and FELT. 


   A large hole in the line appears, going almost back to the cliff.
"Why if it isn't the Sailor Brats!!!" echos Emerald's horrible voice.
More Yomas and Raths pour from the portal. "Bit, can you close that
portal?!" I say into my earring. "No can do. This one is made of magic."
I suppress the urge to scream. "We've got a new problem guys, Bit can't
close the portal. We'll have to do it. Mercury, get as much information
as you can and tell us how to shut it down." Mercury gives me a nod and
taps her other earring, causing a blue visor to appear.


 "Here they come." says Sailor Uranus, standing next to Falcon.
I look down the rise to see the line of monsters marching toward us.
A fast powerful wind begins to pick up. A loud buzzing sound fills the
air and you can just feel the tension around the area. This is big,
bigger then the attack the night of the concert. We are in trouble!
Once again Emerald's laughter echos. "Scatter!" yells Sailor Venus.
We jump in different directions as a ball of dark power collides with
the hill. I land on my side and skid painfully across the grass. 
Wasting no time, I jump up, turning on my heel I spin in the direction
of the approaching Raths and swing out my free hand. Several Star Scabbards
fly from my hand and hit the ground before the line. "Shock!" I yell.
A web of electricity is formed in front of them. 


   "Neptune!!" I call. On the other side of the hill Sailor Neptune 
pushes herself up. "Deep Submerge!" A wave of water rushes out and mixes
with the electricity. Cries of pain come from the monsters as they
fall back. The double attack buys us a moment of time.

  The Raths and Yomas soon form a line again and start to come back
up the hill. "Gezz, can't they do anything except stay in a line?!"
I mutter. "Keep them back!" I yell to the others with a wave of my hand.
Attack cries from the Sailor Scouts follow my call. With each blast of
power we send at them the line is pushed back a little more. But still
they keep coming. Sailor Saturn and Sailor Pluto stand side by side and
launch their attacks together. The two purple shades of power collide
into the line with great force. A large gap appears. "Yes!" yells 
Sailor Saturn as she hugs Lynx. Sailor Pluto gives a small smile to Kodiak.
The line of Raths and Yomas pull together to close the hole and 
continue forward. "You've got to be kidding!" cries Sailor Jupiter as
she give another attack. Nephrite adds his own power to his loves.
Green power hits hard against them but the gap is once again closed.


 I rush over to where Sailor Moon stands. On my other side Sailor Light
runs over to us. "What are we going to do?!" asks Sailor Light. I shack
my head. "We could do a Crisis Attack but there are even more than
before and we could never get them all in the first try." I say.
Onyx raises her voice to be heard above the noise. "You three could
combine a Comic Crystal Attack! It will take out a good amount but
wont hurt any of you!" I nod and look to the others. "Agreed?!"
Two firm nods are my answer. 

   As we turn Mercury rushes up to us, Zoisite on her heels.
"I figured out a way to shut down the portal!" she cries.
We almost have to yell to be heard above the noise. I push back my hair
and give her a nod to continue. "The portal is very unstable, if you
can throw something in their to break it down it will disappear."
Mercury turns her computer around to show us the readings. The levels
on the portal are racing everywhere. I smile. "I will a Comic Crystal
Power do the trick?!" I say. I turn away from a gapping Sailor Mercury,
not really expecting an answer in the first place. 
 
   I look down to the three cats. "You go get the others to get back!"
I order. They race off to tell the other Sailor Scouts to move.
I reach up and slid off the Star Crystal from my bow. Waving my hand
over it the lid disappears to reveal a silver tented crystal.
My star insignia begins to glow. Looking back I see Sailor Moon and
Sailor Light have done the same. We stand in a stacked line. Myself in
the front, Sailor Moon standing so you can see her over my shoulder, and
Sailor Light the same behind her. Onyx, Luna, and Eclipse finally get
all the Sailor Scouts and Knights back. I start to raise my hand when
Tuxedo Mask's voice ring out above it all. "What are you doing?!"
I give a start and look back. Tuxedo Mask is glaring at Sailor Moon.
"A Comic Attack will kill you!!" he yells. I silently curse myself for
not thinking of this before. Frantically I look down the hill at the
approaching nightmares and then back at Sailor Moon, begging for her
to get Tuxedo Mask back and to hurry about it. She gives me a small 
nod. "You don't understand and I have no time to explain it. Sun Knight!"
she says to Tuxedo Mask then yells for her Brother. Knowing full well
what his sister wants, Sun Knight grabs Tuxedo Mask and pulls him back
with surprising strength. 

   I hold for a second more while Sun Knight makes sure Tuxedo Mask
is safe before raising the Star Crystal above my head. The approaching
line is now dangerously close and I don't know how long it will be 'til
they attack full speed. 
"Cosmic....'Star!'....'Moon!'....'Light!'....Crystal Power!! Unite!!"
Three beams of silver, gold, and white power rush from our crystals
and mix. I can feel the heat given off through my gloves as I direct
the power at the line of Raths and Yomas. The wave of power plows
through them and down the hill. <Remember, shut down the portal.>
I say in my mind, hoping that Sailor Moon and Sailor Light can somehow
hear me. 


  It seemed to be so. As our powers reached the level plain they
turned and headed for the dark portal. Emerald cried out as the power
streamed into the hole. The portal began to waver and then it exploded
in a bright flash. I turned my head away and shut my eyes as the flash
came. A strong blast of wind followed unexpectedly. It raced up the hill
and slammed into us. We were knocked off balance and landed hard on our
backs. I heard some of the others cry out. I sat up and shook my head.
I was dizzy but fine. Hands griped my shoulders as I was gently helped
to my feet by Xzafer Knight. Passing my hand over the Star Crystal I
replaced the lid and set it back on my bow. 

  Behind me Sailor Moon and Sailor Light were being helped too. I looked
down the hill to see what was left. The attack had taken out about five
lines of Raths and Yomas that had been coming toward us. Not much 
against the horde but we had also destroyed the portal so there was
no way for more to come. I smiled slightly over my shoulder. Xzafer Knight
gave me a nod and hugged me against his chest. 


  "Very impressive, Sailor Scouts" came Prince Diamond's calm voice.
I whipped my head around to look into the sky. "But not impressive
enough." hissed Emerald. "I don't think she's happy." said Luna from
next to Sailor Moon. I narrowed my eyes as Emerald floated down to the
ground. "That's not good, is it?" asked Sailor Venus. "No, it isn't."
answered Star Knight as he placed his hand on Sailor Light and stepped
closer to her. "Lets see how you fair against me!" yelled Emerald.
"Get them, NOW!" 

   To my slight surprise the Raths and Yomas began to came at us not
in a line. "Sounds like a challenge to me!" said Sailor Mars as she 
punched a hand into the other palm. I gave a dark smile and turned to
face the others. "Challenge Accepted" I said. "All right!" cried Sailor
Uranus. "Lets beat some nega-creeps!" exclaimed Sailor Jupiter. 
On the inside I had a sinking feeling. I looked at Sailor Moon, who
looked like she was sick. Our eyes meet. This was bad.

  
   "Mars Celestial Fire...Surround!" yelled Sailor Mars. Sailor Uranus
made a follow up. "World Shacking!" A rip in the ground filled with
fire rushed down the rise. Many Raths and Yomas fell into the chasm
before it closed again. Before we knew it we were surrounded and slowly
pushed down the hill to the plain, toward where Emerald stood.


   A Star Scabbard hit the Rath and I swung my staff at it. The monster
dodged the strike by jumping back. Another Yoma took its own swing at
my middle and I had to jump fast to avoid it. I landed off balance and
fell forward. Twisting, I rolled with it and came up standing. I had
to jump again a second later to get away from another hit. They were all 
over the place. What made it worse was that Emerald was somewhere in 
here too. We just didn't know where.

  Moving quickly Sailor Moon jumped over a swing. In the air she
twisted and pointed her staff up. "Moon Power Lights!" she cried.
Several gold spheres come from her staff, destroying two Raths and
pushing others back. Landing, Sailor Moon ran to the right. As she
pasted a monster her hand shot out. A Moon Scabbard embedded into the
Yoma's skin. "Shock!" she yelled. Gold power laced out across its body.
Sailor Moon continued through a shower of dust that was once the Yoma.

  Hot pain ripped through my side as a Rath's sword blade cut into
my skin. I twisted away and kicked up my leg, hitting the Rath in the
head. It staggered back, right into Xzafer Knight's sword. The Rath
exploded into dust. "Daijoubu?" asked Xzafer Knight as he blocked
another attack. "Hai" I hissed. I rolled forward and a Yoma's weapon
hit the ground. Turning I pointed my hand at it. "Star Blast!"
A single sphere of silver power hit the Yoma and it exploded. 


  A laugh filled the air. I turned in enough time to see a black ball
of power fling toward me. Quickly I jumped aside and the ball flew
past me, killing three monsters that were in the way. I gapped as
Emerald walked out of the smoke and noise. She was not wearing what 
she normally did but what looked to be a type of armor.
"You like?" Emerald posed with the question. "It was a gift from the
Wise Man and its going to help me destroy you all." I narrowed my eyes.
"The only thing its going to help you do is die. Your a fool to trust
the Wise Man." I hissed. Emerald's face seemed to crumble like a child
who had just been told they were being bad. "What do you know." she said.
She raised her hand toward me with a smirk. Onyx raced up behind her
and jump at her arm. Emerald gave a cry as her energy ball flew in a
different direction, taking out more Raths and Yomas. Onyx landed next to
me. Looking up I saw that Onyx's claws only left shallow grooves on the
surface of the armor. Standing again I point my hand at Emerald.
She faced me again and gapped at me. "Star Blast!" I cried. The single
blast hit Emerald full on and thru her back. She landed and stayed
down. Although hurt, she was still alive.


   I was about to turn and find Sailor Moon when another laugh echoed
in the air. I froze. This laugh was well known too. This laugh made
your blood turn to ice. This laugh rang in your ears and ran down your
spine. Slowly I looked up into the sky. "Wise Man." I whispered.
"Greetings Sailor Scouts, oh and Sailor Guardians." said the floating
black mass. I felt someone next to me and glanced over to see Sailor
Moon and Sailor Light were standing with me. Xzafer Knight placed his
hand on my shoulder. Tuxedo Mask and Star Knight did the same to the
others. All activity stopped, all noise and all wind just stopped.
Raths and Yomas moved away from who they were fighting, leaving the
Sailor Scouts and Knight where they were. A waiting silence fell across
everything. 


  "Wise Man, you must give me more time." yelled Emerald, pleading.
Wise Man again laughed. "You fool, Sailor Star was right when she called
you that! You are no match to any of these young girls and boys.
These children!" he said with venom. I shuttered when he used my name.
Suddenly Sapphire and Prince Diamond disappeared from the sky.
"So, I will do what you could not. Lets see what you do against this
Sailor Brats!" yelled Wise Man. He raised his crystal ball.
A soft rumble started, then it got louder and harder. The others began
to yell. I was flung forward as the ground rose sharply. Xzafer Knight
landed next to me and rapped his cape around me. The ground started to
roll and soil was thrown into the air. Sharp pikes of land pushed up.
Tears in the ground appeared all around. We jumped away as a rift in
the ground tore open. Emerald screamed as one of the rifts swallowed
her and she fell into darkness.


  With a cold laugh Wise Man disappeared from the sky. Sailor Moon
jumped aside as the earth beneath her tore open. Xzafer Knight pulled
me away from another. Sailor Mercury cried out as she fell into one
of the rifts. Zoisite dove and caught her hand, pulling her up and into
his arms. "Sailor Pluto!!!" I yelled. "Do it!!" The ground pitched under
Sailor Pluto as my voice rang out. Kodiak grabbed her and twisted so
he would land under her. As she fell Sailor Pluto thrust her staff 
into the air. "By all of Time and Space!" she yelled. A bright flash
came from the Time Staff. All of us were blinded. When the light
disappeared none of us were left. The ground stopped rolling and 
settled. The once battle ground looked like nothing had happened.
All of us were gone........


   I slowly opened my eyes. I could feel Xzafer Knight's arms still
around me and Onyx by my side. I looked around and all I could see was
a white fog that covered everything. I began to hear the calls of the
others. "Where are you?" yelled Wolf from my right. I looked for him 
but I couldn't see him. It took a minute to realize in what and
where we were. "The Time Gates!" I whispered. "What is this?!" yelled
a frustrated Sailor Mars from somewhere in the mists. "Sailor Pluto!!"
I yelled again. A ball of purple light appeared in the fog and grew
until it blinded us again. 


   Once again I slowly opened my eyes and was blinded by a gold light.
Raising my hand to shield my face I tried to look around us. The sun
moved and the bright blinding shine disappeared into the normal light
of day. I heard gasps behind me and turned to see all of the others.
We were standing on a high cliff looking at where seemed to be a city
made entirely out of quartz crystal. In the middle was a larger structure
of crystal pointing into the sky. I recognized it instantly.
  

To my half surprise Small Lady pushed her way between us and stood in
front. A light in her eyes gave way to tears as she looked across the
city. "It wasn't this bad when I left!" she cried. Sailor Moon picked
her up quickly and hugged her. Small Lady rested her head on Sailor Moon's
shoulder and wept. The quartz city was in ruin. The structures were
half broken and falling apart. "Where are we?" asked Nephrite from 
besides Sailor Jupiter. I turned and looked at them. Swinging out my
hand I gestured to the city below. "Welcome Friends. To the turn of
the Third Millennium, Crystal Tokyo."

The end of the story is upon us! Anyway, for anyone who cares.
A Crisis Attack is a large, slightly uncontrollable blast of pure power,
this is why it took so much out of the Sailor Guardians when they
did it. A Cosmic Crystal Attack is just the power of a crystal, Star
Crystal,
Moon Crystal, etc. The Sailor Guardians feel nothing. A Cosmic Attack is
the power within and will hurt a Sailor Guardian, like what Sailor Moon
did to get rid of Beryl. A Celestial Attack uses both the crystal power and
the power of the guardians. It is the strongest and most powerful attack
a guardian can do. K? Good!
Next Time: (Name not made up).......Lets meet the people who live in 
Crystal Tokyo and what changes have come from the original story
because of the shift in time. Where are the Sailor Scout's and Knight's
older selves? And why wont Reona let the two times meet? Lets find out!
