author *g*  Now ONTO THE STORY! *g*

	"Watch it, Odango!" Seiya exclaimed, smiling, then immediately
clapped his hand over his mouth.
	"Sorry, Seiya-kun." Usagi replied, monotone. "Just don't call
me odango. Please." She choked out, then ran up to her room, hardly
making it to her bed before she broke down crying. Seiya dashed up
after her.
	"Usagi-chan, I'm sorry!" He said when he reached the doorway.
Usagi stared blindly out her window.
	"Why did this happen?" Usagi whispered, "Why did this have to
happen now?" She turned to Seiya, "Why?" She said again, and then
turned away. "I just need to be alone for a while." She said, and sat
there for a long time after Seiya had closed the door behind him. "Why,
mother? Why?" Usagi said again, and laid down on her bed and fell
asleep.

---DREAM---

	"Usagi-chan, Usako." Usagi stared around and tried to find the
voice that was calling her. "Mamo-chan? Is that you?" She asked, "It
may and it may not be." The voice said, "Wait! Mamo-chan's dead. Who
are you?"
	Images flashed again of what had happened no more than an hour
earlier. Illsus sending that energy ball towards them, Usagi running to
knock Seiya out of the way, leaving Mamoru to take the full blast that
killed him.
	"Who are you?" Usagi demanded again. "What do you want?" Usagi
finally noticed she wasn't in her room anymore. "Where am I? What do
you want?" There was a strange sound, somewhat like laughter, "You will
not know. Ever again, Usagi-sama. Nobody will be left for you to love,
ever." A loud and deep laugh filled the air, "Crystal Tokyo is mine!
Now and forever!" The laughter started up again, and Usagi found she
couldn't even move.

	"No!" Usagi yelled, and sat straight up. "What?" She gasped,
and looked around. She fell back down on her bed, "It was just a
dream." She whispered, "Just a dream..." Just then, there was a sharp
knock on Usagi's door. "Come in." She said, and sat back up. It was
Seiya.
	"Are you all right? I heard you screaming and I wanted to make
sure that Illsus wasn't coming after you..." Usagi sighed and her
shoulders sagged. "He may and he may not be, Seiya-kun." She explained
her dream. "That would be enough to make anybody scared... especially
in our current situation with Illsus-baka and the Wiseman."
	Seiya opened his arms and Usagi fell into his hug. "We have to
do this, Seiya-kun. Even though I may not love him anymore, I'm going
to do this for Mamoru-chan." Seiya nodded in understanding. "That's
good." He said, and helped Usagi stand up. "I think Setsuna-chan's
fixing us some dinner. You were asleep when the rest had dinner and I
was out."
	"I'm not that hungry." Usagi said, "But I would still like
something to eat. I need my strength." Seiya smiled, "Couldn't have
said it better myself." He said, laughing. They walked down the stairs
and into the kitchen where Setsuna was stirring something in a pot on
the stove. "Are you ready for dinner?" She asked, turning the burner
off.
	"Yeah, I guess." Usagi said. Setsuna glanced at Seiya and Usagi
as they sat down. She dished some of the soup into two dishes, and set
it down on the table. "I've got to go make sure that Makoto-sama and
Taiki-kun are recording anything they find about Illsus-baka." She
said, and hurried out of the room.
	Seiya and Usagi sat at the table eating their soup and watching
the rain falling outside the window. "I'm afraid of what's going to
happen, Usagi-chan." Seiya finally said. "Even Galaxia thinks
Illsus-baka is more powerful than she was! And you know how hard she
was to beat." He finished, and sighed. He pushed his dish away, "I'm
not hungry any more." He said, and stared out the window at the trees
dripping with moisture.
	"I never was hungry." Usagi said, and stood up. "I think I'll
go talk to Makoto-chan and Taiki-kun." She said, and turned around.
	"Usa-chan..." Seiya started, then stopped. "What?" Usagi asked,
and turned back to him. "I... never mind." Seiya said quickly and
turned back to the window again. Usagi left the kitchen and walked up
the stairs to the balcony.
	"Hey, guys." Usagi said, walking into the room. Makoto and
Taiki stopped talking abruptly and hesitated before replying. "Hey,
Usagi-chan." Taiki finally said, then looked away. "Any changes?" Usagi
asked, stepping onto the balcony. She was immediately blasted back into
the room.
	"Usagi! Are you ok?" Makoto asked, hurrying to her side. "Yeah,
I'm fine." Usagi grumbled. "Why didn't you tell me that would happen?"
She demanded. Makoto stepped back, "We didn't know... honestly! I think
Illsus-baka is on to us, Usagi-chan."
	Suddenly, Makoto grabbed her shoulder and a crystal spear
appeared in it. "Illsus-baka!" Usagi muttered, "I knew this would
happen!"
	Makoto began to fade in and out. "Don't loose the hope, Usagi.
Remember how you defeated Galaxia. Keep the hope and keep the light of
hope burning so Illsus-baka won't have any target." Makoto was growing
fainter and fainter, "Don't forget me." She said, and disappeared
completely.
	"Mako-chan!" Ami exclaimed, and rushed in. "Makoto-chan's
energy patterns began to fade a few minutes ago." Ami said, and held up
her computer. It showed only three life forms in the room. "I'll
destroy him for that!"
	Seion entered the room, "I'm afraid I'm next, dear ones." She
said, softly.
	Seiya stuck his head in the door. "You guys, something's
happening at the building. It's on the news and you can see it through
the trees in the kitchen!" The five dashed down the stairs. Setsuna,
Yaten, Galaxia, Heavy Metal, and Iron Mouse were all in front of the
TV.
	"Seion-chan, Taiki-kun, you guys stay in here and keep us
updated on what the news is reporting. Seiya-kun, Minako-chan and I
will go watch through the window." Usagi ordered, and hurried into the
other room.
	"WOAH!" Usagi yelled almost immediately. Seiya and Makoto
glanced at each other, then dashed in. "Oh boy, we're in deep." Makoto
said, and some kind of a force field seemed to surround the house.
"Princess Kakyuu!" Seiya whispered, and Kakyuu came in. "Yup. Illsus
was trying to flood this place with dark energy."
	Hotaru came in then. "What's happening?" She demanded,
"Kakyuu-chan, what's Illsus-baka doing?" Kakyuu smiled at Hotaru, "In
one last act of my loyalty to the scouts, this house is permanently
protected from the evils of Illsus-baka." She said, then disappeared.
	"Princess!" Seiya exclaimed, "He's preparing... just like...
just like Metallia did! Seion-chan!" Seiya ran into the living room and
Usagi, Makoto, and Hotaru followed him. "Seion-chan, when you, as
Metallia, started eliminating the scouts before Usagi-chan got to your
stronghold, why did you do that?"
	Seion shrugged, "Just less of a threat, I guess." Seiya smiled
slightly.
	"So maybe Illsus-baka sees us as such a threat that he's scared
we ARE going to defeat him!" He said. Usagi shook her head, "You
remember what Setsuna-chan said. Not until I find out whatever it is
I'm supposed to find out. She said.
	Suddenly, the house shook violently. "Illsus-baka is trying to
destroy us already." Galaxia said, trembling. The house shook again,
"Take cover! Usagi-chan, contact the others and GET THEM HERE NOW!"
Heavy Metal yelled, and pulled the cushion from the couch on top of
her.

Ooh, what's gonna happen next?  What's gonna happen to Seion (which, by
the way, means serene) if she turns back into Metallia? Lota questions
that still need to be answered, huh? Like WHAT THE HECK IS SETSUNA-CHAN
TALKING ABOUT? *g*
