Title: Friends For Life Author: Grace Parts: 3/? Email: GraceSpradlin@hotmail.com Responsibilities... *2 weeks later* "I don't see why *I* have to were this damn thing!" Serena tried to put the dress on. To her, the dress seemed to not want to go on. But since she had never worn a dress in her entire life, she didn't know how to put it on. "Let me help you, Sere." The maid, Marcy, tried desperatly to help her get the dress on. She finally managed to slip it on, before finding out it was on backwards. "Damn it!" "Sere! Please tone down the language. Some of us don't like to hear it." Marcy didn't want anybody hearing her sware. It was 'unlady like'. Serena grabbed the dress and pulled it all the way off. "That's it. I am *not* going to wear it. It is definatly not my size." Serena picked it up and threw it across the room. She slipped on her denim shorts and a three-quarter length sleeve, navy blue shirt. All the while, Marcy tried to get her to change her mind. Tonight they were having a ball, in honor of the daughters of the Royal Families of the other planets. After all that training, they finally became Sailor Senshi. Gia didn't know why Serenity had them trained. The soul reason to train them in the first place was to protect the Princess of the Moon. But at this point, there was no Princess. So why train the girls in the first place? Nobody knew, but then again, nobody cared. Serena threw open the door to her room and walked out. The whole palace practically shook when she did so. She stepped out of the palace and headed for the ballroom, which was located at the other side of the palace. It was easier to go this way, then to walk through the it. The ball wouldn't be held until later that night, but the Queen and some others were setting up. On the way past the training grounds, she could see the Sailor Senshi training with the generals and Darien. Some were fighting one another. The Senshi looked up when they saw her walk past. They had never seen a woman wear such clothing. Even when fighting, they wore skirts. When she saw Darien she waved. "Hey Dare!" He looked up. "Oh, hey Sere!" The Senshi looked at each other. They had never heard anyone address a person of such high royalty like that, unless they were the immediate family. Serena walked past them and into the palace. She headed down the hall, straight to the ballroom. When she reached there, she stepped in and headed for the Queen. "Gia?" Serena tried to get her attention. "Yes Serena?" "Do I have to wear that *thing* to the ball. It looks..................*scary*." Serena looked at Gia with hope that she didn't have to wear it. The Queen sighed. "If you don't want to. But don't wear any jean pants." Gia was hoping that this would be the day that Serena would actually *wear* a dress. "Ok, can I wear this?" Serena did a full circle, modeling her clothes. Gia looked her up and down. It looked ok, to her. "Sure. Now I have to finish setting up." Gia went back to telling the other maids and butlers what to do. "Ok, bye!" Serena waved then headed back out. Serena laughed as she saw Kunzite pinned down by Sailor Venus. Kunzite looked at Serena with pure hatred. 'If looks could kill...' She didn't even want to finish that thought. "Hey Sere! I heard that you actually have to wear a *dress*." Nephrite couldn't hold it in, and burst out laughing. She looked at him then shrugged it off. The Senshi exchanged looks again. All thinking the same thing. 'Why not?' Serena headed back to her room, not even bothering to help them get the facts straight. She was not going to wear a dress, and that was final. When she reached her room, the dress was hung up and Marcy was straightening out the comforter. "You can keep the dress Marcy." She looked at Serena quizically. "Gia said I didn't have to wear it." Marcy nodded then left the room with the dress. Serena plopped on the bed and looked at the ceiling. 'I need a nap before the ball anyways.' She closed her eyes and fell asleep. TO BE CONTINUED... I know! *dodges rotten tomatoes* This was too, short! But the next one will be longer, I promise. Tell me what you think about this part. Email me or just reply.
