United Love: Part 6 A tale told by Guardian Angel One Rated- G pure_angel_i@yahoo.com www.geocities.com/Area51/Dreamworld/3042/ Hey guys!!! I just want to thank everyone for e-mailing me: Princess Serenity- my e-pal, who has always wished me luck through the many weeks of ending my messages with "I'm gonna finish part six now". The sweet Ho-Yung Kim, whose message brightened my day. SailorM518, who actually got me really working on this with her comments. And the understanding Mercury589. I'm sorry I couldn't get this done and sent in sooner, but I had MAJOR finals (if you challenge this, I WILL let you know exactly what I went through!). And to me, school has an edge over fan fiction. As I did mention before, this is NOT going to be one of those fics that remains unfinished. I will finish it just give me time and courtesy. READ THIS-- you are warned. This chapter was chopped in half (see below). So it may not be incredibly interesting, but if you want to understand the story line, THIS part explains all! Read, read, read! This was also one of the hardest chapters, since this is coming off the top of my head in the middle of night. Sorry if it sucks. E-mail me with any questions, comments, or flames (but try and remember what Thumper said- "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."- I won't be hurt if you decide not to read). Disclaimer. Ya know. Guess what? I got over a hundred and fifty hits on my web page!!! (Ten of them are mine, but hey.... the glass is half full.) And ya know what? I haven't learned how to smoothly stop rambling yet. So I'm gonna stop here. United Love: Chapter Six- "Dreams and Nightmares" ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 0}--+----- Tokyo, June 2, 1998 AD, Universe 1 Neptune felt her knees go weak. She held onto Uranus, clutching her shoulder as tears began to fall from her aqua eyes, trying to block out the denying cry of Tuxedo Mask and the others. This wasn't suppose to happen- Pluto hadn't foreseen anything, her mirror had remained silent, Mercury's computer hadn't traced a threat, Mar's fire had not enlightened Raye. Yet somehow... She realized she had dropped her mirror talisman, she had been clutching on the way to the scene. Gasping, she abruptly pulled away from her partner and reached down with blind fingers. Crouching down, she didn't look up as she felt the other Outers surround her. The power between them began to rise. They had failed. They would never see the girl who had lit up their lives ever again. She was gone. Without a good-bye, without a sound, without a cry for help, some one had taken her. The spirit of Neptune filled her and connected with the spirits of Uranus, Pluto, and Saturn. Their talismen and the Glaive began to charge. They knew what each was thinking without words. They were bonded together. They all knew that who ever did this would not live for very long. Each of their weapons eagerly seemed to fill with energy, as if demanding the same revenge that had overtaken the Outer Scouts. A new presence found its way into the bond. This one was more angered, more dangerous and cold. With a start, Neptune realized it was Tuxedo Mask. She had never felt him like this before. She wasn't even aware he had the power to bond like this! She resisted a shudder as the steel power joined, and eventually surpassed the group's power. Four new powers emerged into the bond. Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Mercury also began to fill the bond, their powers nearly matching the Outers. Neptune felt guilt and anger radiate from their spirits. They were concentrating so hard. That was when Neptune realized she had no clue what they were doing. She felt none of them did. This calling of power just seemed so... right. Like they could bring her back... search for her somehow. The group didn't notice the cries of the rest of the group were crying out, nor did they realize the ground had begun to shake. It wasn't until the violent tremors broke the link did they cry out and fall. The energy was lost, and the anger turned to fear as the entire world seemed to cry out... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 0}--+----- Edge of the Universe, same time, Universe 1 Damion realized what he had done all too late. He had come too early. Serenity really wasn't ready. It hadn't been a ploy the Archangels used after all. She really hadn't been aware of his existence. Why hadn't he bothered to check her before bringing all this negative force upon the Universe, this land of eternal? As he collapsed on some unknown planet, he realized that he had failed before the Game had begun. And it was all because he hadn't been patient. Damion wondered what would happen now that he had broken the fragile balance. The visions he had seen in the portal... they must have come true. Now Serena was dead in two realities... the Balance would be destroyed by the evil... not that that was bad, but you could never take chances... Those were his last thoughts as he fell into unconsciousness ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 0}--+----- The Balance Two figures stood on opposite sides. They were two of the only six who could ever come to the Balance. Daemon gave a rude snort of disgust. "I can't believe my vassal is acting so spontaneous. Now we will have to intervene." God shook his head, his pure aura seeming to falter with slight laughter. "You knew this would happen just like I did. These two must see what their rash actions will lead to if they become radical. The last few millennia, they have grown away from the object of the Game- to preserve the Balance. They need to be taught a lesson. Especially your child." "Quit rambling before I get angry. I know all this. But I had warned the little brat, and look what he does! His impatience costs the Balance and us fragile energy. They could have wiped out our kingdoms!" Daemon answered back, his purely evil aura surrounding flickering with anger. "Besides, your protégée isn't exactly the brightest star in the sky..." "She doesn't know yet!" God allowed his voice to become irritated. They both stared off into space, seeing through their powers what was going on. "Do you think they will realize the consequences for not maintaining the Balance?" Daemon asked as his minds eye saw Damion black out. God watched his child carefully. She was so delicate looking. As delicate as the pure love, light, and hope that she was made of. He smiled, noting the care her Guardians and Archangels were giving her, trying to help in all mortal ways possible. "No, I don't think they truly understand. But I imagine they will after this." "They'll want answers, damn it," Daemon snorted. He watched his child in sleep, trying to piece together what was going on. As much as he hated to admit it, he truly cared for his child. But he supposed it was to be expected; the child was a part of him. A piece of him was created to make the Child of Darkness, as a part of God was to make the Child of Light. That was what gave them their powers, not to mention eternal youth and life. Both frowned over the other two realities. "You know," God said, shaking his head, "I really wish this didn't have to happen. I know it's the only way, but I still think that it's a shame the all have to go through this. The devastation and pain-" "Makes people fight and grow stronger. It's always a point we have disagreed on," Daemon interrupted. "I still don't understand how my child can be so... compassionate. If I didn't know better, I'd think you had done something to him." At Daemon's glare, God chuckled once more. He couldn't seem to stop smiling, even though the worlds around him were colliding. "It's love. You're still bitter that you never fell in love?" "Aren't you?" "Look around, look at the love our children have. They are a part of us, just as we are a part of them. Their love is our love." "And our battle is their battle. Your point is clear, but too... bright for my liking." The two remained there a few more moments, before leaving. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 0}--+----- PhobosDeimos Castle, same time, Universe 2 "What the devil is going on around her!" demanded King Keegan of Mars demanded. His daughter was at Earth with her fiancé, his wife was no where to be found, and he had just gotten a message of all the casualties from a recent attack on Jupiter. And now the mars was shaking? Keegan growled in frustration, and quickly went to the comm system to talk to Earth. King Ravi of the Sun/Earth kingdoms answered. "Not now Keegan, there seems to be a massive earthquake-" "-And a massive marsquake! What the devil is going on? Some sort of weapon?" Keegan interrupted his ally, not caring in his rage. "I don't- oh my go-" The comm link went dead. Cursing, Keegan clutched the wall as the tremors grew stronger. His gaze shifted to the window, where the rose gardens would be. But they weren't. Instead, it was open space. A massive piece of land was coming towards the palace. Keegan recognized the grand palace on the edge closest to Mars, coming straight at the PhobosDeimos Castle. "The Io Castle!!!??? What the-" He was once again cut off as he was thrown to the floor as Jupiter connected with Mars, promptly losing consciousness. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 0}--+----- Rose Castle, same time, Universe 2 King Ravi had lost his train of thought as he spared a glance around the room to look for anyone inside. His gaze rested on the window. More precisely, what was outside the window. He dimly heard the comm link with King Keegan break before he realized his jaw was gaping and he was staring. He heard the approach of stumbling footsteps as the tremors increased. "WHAT IS GOING ON AROUND HERE?" bellowed his son, Endymion. By his side was an equally angry General Kunzite. "That," was the king's only reply as he continued to stare out the window. The three men stood in shock as they watched the Moon Palace and the rest of them Moon come straight at the Earth palace, which seemed to have been torn apart to allow their enemies arrival. With a final tremor, everyone was thrown to the floor, and blacked out. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 0}--+----- Crystal Tokyo, same time, Universe 3 Prince Samuel grabbed his father's hand as the tremors began. Though he was almost a grown man, he had always been the most loyal to his family, which sometimes made him act childish. His father had always said it was his mother's side. Samuel had always felt a kind of hole in his soul. Queen Mars had said it was because he had never completed the "bond" with his mother. Which only made him more protective of the others- he didn't want to lose anyone else. He could feel his father tighten the grip on their hands as the tremors increased. With his other arm, he reached out to grab his sister Irene, who was also clutching Kenji. "What is going on around here!?" demanded King Endymion. Samuel had never heard his father so angry and frustrated before. The tremors increased. Some cries were heard from the comm link with the other planets before the link broke completely. "LOOK! Out the window!" cried Neo-Sailor Neptune. Everyone turned to see the rest of Crystal Tokyo, then open space by the city border. And coming right at the space was what appeared to be the Venus, with the Magellan Castle leading it. "OH MY GOSH!" cried Neo-Sailor Venus cried. "I wanted to be home, but not like that!" Suddenly the tremors increased, and Samuel felt his father hold them all in as tight as he can. He heard the others call on their powers for shields, as well as his father. Samuel felt his sister slump in his arms. And heard cries of pain as they all fell and lost consciousness. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 0}--+----- Serena's Memories Serena was floating in a dream. There were different colors swirling around her, various symbols filling the space she was floating in. She didn't know what was going on, only knew that these would be the last few moments of bliss she would have for a long time. Closing her eyes, she smiled. Her eyes shot up with realization. There was a flash of white light, a fiery hot sensation that resembled being transformations, and suddenly Serena found herself in... Heaven? There were pastel clouds all around, and a large gold, ivory, silver, pearl, and bronze throne. Various animals lay around the throne and a smaller one stood by it. In the large throne, she could see a pillar of... something. The elements each of the Sailors controlled were swirling around it, making it impossible to see the center. one the smaller one, placed on its right, was a smaller version of the pillar. Serena realized who they were. She then brought her attention to a sparkle of pure light energy. With a start, she realized who was standing before the thrones- herself! "Where am I?" her other self asked. Serena noticed the pure white silk that clung to her body, held up by silk spaghetti straps, with two long slits up that showed her legs to the mid- thigh. Around her waist hung a silk cord, and tiny charms were hanging from that. Around her neck hung a small white chain which weld a small version of the Pure Crystal, which was between to angel wings made of ivory. She sighed over the absolutely gorgeous dress and the dazzling accessories. "You are my child. Made of myself, light, love, life, and hope. I created you." The imperial voice spoke from the pillar on the large throne. "Why?" "My child, I created you because I am weary." A holographic image appeared between the thrones and the girl. She gasped at the sight- the same as the pillar before her, only... darker, and more threatening. "This is my adversary. He is the exact opposite of myself. I have fought him for so long, and we both tire of our battles. Yet we must fight to protect the Balance." "The Balance?" "The Balance is the delicate world that depends on us as we depend on it. Without us, the Balance would not exist. Without the Balance, we would not exist. The Balance weighs out the amount of Light and Darkness there is, and it is our job to make sure the amount of Darkness is never superior to the amount of Light. If one were ever greater than the other was, Chaos would envelop all life, and destroy everything, causing such misery and suffering that even the Darkness fears it. "I, as well as my adversary tire of keeping the Balance. We have been fighting for beyond anyone's memory, and have forgotten even the beginning, when we weren't held to such responsibilities. This is why we created you and your Counterpart." The image of a man appeared where the "adversary" had been. A young man, taller than her, with ebony hair, midnight blue eyes, a rippling muscles on an extremely well built frame. He was dressed in a white tuxedo, which enhanced his tan skin and figure. Around his waist was a silk belt, holding similar charms, and a similar chain around his neck, with a darker, yet pure white crystal charm. But his looks and attire didn't phase Serena or her other self. It was his eyes that held their complete attention- they were endless midnight, completely blue- with no pupils! The fact gave the man a dangerous look, even though he smiled easily. "This is your Counterpart, Damion." The voice continued on, "He is the one you will fight in the Eternal Battle for the Balance, being made of a part of my adversary, life, hope, and Darkness. While you will make sure the Darkness and he are not greater, so will he make sure the Light and you are not greater." The other Serena nodded her head in understanding, while Serena watched, entranced by the memory. "When will this begin?" The being on the throne chuckled. "You may be eager now, but you won't be so enchanted by this task later. Fair warning, child, you will have many hard lives ahead of you. And like all games, there are rules. First off, you must understand these conditions. You will be given the powers of the Light, since you are pure. Only those pure can handle true and raw power." a stream of pure energy flew from the throne, and circled around the girl before entering the crystal around her neck. "This is your crystal, where your energy will be stored. It shall always be with you, as it is made of life, light, and hope also. As long as you are alive, so shall it be. Damion has a similar crystal to yours, only his is made of Darkness instead of Light. Of course, with power also comes restrictions." The other Serena was fingering the small crystal. She turned her head up to the pillar being, innocent blue eyes staring up at the dancing elements. "Such as?" "You and he are immortal. You are also linked, since you are both pure and made of life and hope. Those two are two of the most greatest powers in Heaven and Hell, and they shall bind you together in these two ways: if any harm should befall one, the other shall also be harmed in that manner, and if one should die, the other should follow at the exact moment. This way, the Balance shall be maintained." "I don't understand. Why would the Balance be maintained through these conditions?" "Listen, my child, and remember. You hold the greatest powers, besides the adversary, and myself both equal to each other. If one of you is not alive, how shall the other side make up for the loss of power to balance? And who shall maintain the other side?" The other Serena pondered this for a second, then gave a nod of understanding, but frowned. "If whatever happens to him happens to me-" "Oh my Child, I would not subject you to such torture without a means of escape, a light to guide you through your journey. The only way he can be harmed without it affecting you is if you hurt him by your own hand." "But how will I die, if I don't-" "As I said before, you are bonded by life and hope. Hope is eternal and healing, but life is fragile, unstable, and can cause harm. And when life ends... your bond will shine through then." Serena nodded in understanding again. A smile twitched at her mouth, showing her pearly white teeth. "What is he like?" "Like you. You are both innocent and pure, and because you are Counterparts, you ARE equals, in every way." "He is very handsome." "And you are very beautiful. Life, hope, light, darkness, they are all beautiful." "So are you." The pillar seemed to brighten, as if smiling at her innocent and sincere comment. "Child, you have only been alive for mere minutes. I have been alive for all eternity. Yet you already know beauty, and dare to act as if we are equal in the experience of beauty?" The angel bowed her head in embarrassment. "I didn't think I was equal to-" "Of course you didn't. Now, child, I must show you your friends." "Friends? What is that?" "Friends are people who stand by you, help you, and are there for you. They sacrifice themselves for you if need be. I wish to make people, so you may become friends." "I should like to become a friends." "A friend is one of the most important powers in eternity." "Do you have any friends?" The pillar was silent, pondering the question. The angel smiled before going on. "I should like to be your friend." "I shall always be yours. My kingdom, Heaven, is always your home. You are truly the Chosen One of Light, my Child. You will guard my kingdom well, and you shall do what I could not." The pillar began to fade as it stated this. Serena stared wide-eyed as it seemed to fade to thin air. "No! Where are you going?" she cried. Serena looked at the saddened girl, and felt sadness sweep over her and allow loneliness to invade. "He needs to conserve his strength. Allow him rest, Little One," sounded the voice of the smaller pillar still sitting on the smaller throne. The angel looked to it, a crystal tear running down her creamy cheek. "I am His Son, and I am your Brother in Him. I will bring you your friends. Don't cry, Little One." The other Serena wiped the tear away. "I won't. Is he in pain?" "Not anymore. You have allowed Him the peace He desired, by doing what He created you to do. Now calm, and allow me to ease your burden. For without friends, it would be to great a risk." Serena watched as the pillar came closer. A mist gathered before the girl, enveloping around the image of Damion, rolling behind the approaching pillar. Serena gasped as the small- pillar being passed through her, giving her a tickling sensation. She felt the sensation in her mind, running with her blood, using her energy, filling her soul before ripping it apart. She cried out as half her soul left her, only to be immediately calmed by a feeling of... security... from a... presence. The girl and Serena both squinted into the mist, trying to pinpoint the source of the protective presence, which contained the other half of her soul. A shadow appeared, dressed in deep blacks, reds, and blues, with a swirling crystal of black. His, she could tell it was male by his form, revealed his features as he neared her. Ebony hair, muscular body, midnight blue eyes... with pupils. It was the exact man who had been an image to her, moments ago, but now stood before her... "Damion?" the angel asked, staring at the man she felt throughout her entire being. Yet his eyes... bared his soul... "Who are you?" "This is your Soulmate. Your only love, to be the one who shall protect you. He will be your Protector and love for all eternity," the smaller pillar answered. The man now stood before the girl. He took hold of her hand and gently brought it up to his lips. The girl's eyes sparkled at him. "I shall always protect you, my angel." She sighed at his comment. He then stood beside her, at her right. "Also a Fate, to help advise you with your path," continued the pillar. A sensation went through her again. The mist thickened once again before revealing a tall woman, with a beautiful figure, long chocolate brown hair, and chocolate brown eyes. She gracefully walked up, dressed in a pink sailor suit, with a bright carnation pink crystal around her neck. "My lady, I shall always be here for you." She took her place beside the girl. "And now your Guardians." The pillar once again shot up sensations through her. The mist thickened before revealing three figures, also male, and similar to her Soulmate. The first had dark blonde hair and green eyes, with a grin and a splash of freckles giving him an innocent look. The second had brownish-blonde hair and blue eyes, the same color as she had. She could feel his eyes taking in everything. The third had brown hair and brown eyes, and seemed very relaxed, as if he had done this a million times. When they reached her, they gave bows. "Our lady, to you we offer ourselves," was said before they also took their places beside her. Another sensation. This time, she saw four figures walking out from the mist. Each of them was female, and Serena had to smile at the genuinely friendly auras they had. The first had gold hair to her waist before it turned a shocking scarlet. Serena could see her pearl earrings in the shape of a heart wink from her thick hair. Her sky blue eyes revealing curiosity as she looked at her lady. She wore a similar sailor outfit, only it was a white body suit and gloves, with everything else black, except for the gold tiara. All her stripes were alternating orange and magenta. At the front of the pleated black skirt was a single large pleat, with orange and magenta stripes coming in a "V". Her compact was at the center of her black bow, and was an amazing pearly color, giving an iridescent glow. And in the middle sat what looked like a giant pearl glowing with light energy. Three small black "o"s surrounded the pearl in a triangle formation. Next came a girl whose hair was a completely bright red, almost the color of blood. Her ice blue eyes only enhanced her intelligent stare as she swept her gaze around the room. Her body suit and gloves were also white, with everything else a shining silver, including her silver six-pointed star earrings. All her stripes were alternating a light blue or sea green. She also had a large plait at the front of her silver skirt, which had light blue and sea green stripes coming down in a "V". Her compact was a bright silver, and in the middle was a shining crystal, giving off silver sparkles. Three silver stars framed her crystal in the same formation. The third girl was taller than the others, and confidently strode through this mist. Her midnight blue eyes blatantly stared at the angel, her bronze hair swaying as her head tilted in thought, as if trying to decide what to think of the angel before her. Her midnight blue eyes sparkled with mischief and challenges with her midnight blue earrings, in the shape of a blue and green stud. Her accessories were a bronze color, with midnight blue and earthy green stripes. Her plaid was similar with the respective stripes. Serena noticed slight gold highlights wink as she gave a curt nod, giving her approval of whatever she had been thinking. Serena noticed her bronze compact did not have the gold highlights in her hair, nor did the tan crystal with a bright bronze glow reflect its mistress' golden highlights. Serena made a small note of the four stone studs surrounding her crystal, in a cross form, different from the other two's triangle form, before turning her attention on the last figure. Here head was like a bright fire, with gold shining through the hair. Her teal eyes danced with secrets, and she coolly studied the girl. The angel felt a twinge of odd emotion as the teal eyes with golden glints seemed to bore into the soul of the angel. The girl looked the closest to the angel's age, as the others females had seemed older. Her golden sailor suit only added to the effect of gold the girl seemed to naturally contain, and her gold studs only shined with her hair and eyes. Her stripes were a blood red and dark purple, also forming a "v" in the center plait. Her compact was a bright golden yellow, with a canary yellow crystal and golden glow, also surrounded by the same minerals as the thirds, in the same cross fashion. "We are yours eternally, my lady," stated the first. "We vow to always ease your pain," the second added. "We shall never fail you," the third told her. "We will always be here," the fourth said. They took their spots around her. A new sensation brought sixteen shadows. "Your Sailors and the Generals," was called out by the smaller pillar. Eight girls of various colors: a light magenta, a sea-green, a midnight blue, a dark purple, an earthy green, a blood red, bright orange, and an icy blue. Each had compacts with their respective colors and smaller crystals glowing the shades they wore. Each was followed by a male, all in gray uniforms. The lining of each of the uniforms was the same color the girl before him was wearing. They wore their crystals around their necks, though they looked like various minerals and stones instead of crystals. In unison, they bowed slightly, saying, "You are our Princess, and we shall always offer anything." They took their places silently. "The last," the pillar proclaimed, "is the Defenders. These will be your comforts." Three men stood before her now. Each had longer hair than the other men; one reddish-brown, one black, and one a silvery-white. They wore black jumpsuits with blue, red, and green, respectively. They wore around their necks, a chain with their color star shaped crystals of their respective colors. Each bowed before her, saying together, "May we always be here for you in your time of need." They were altogether for the first time ever. The angel looked over everything and smiled. "My children," called the voice of the larger pillar. Serena had failed to notice its arrival, and nearly gasped in surprise. All attention was on the pillar, sitting upon the large throne. "You will be together for all eternity. You all understand your place. Protect each other well, and never lose faith in each other. "You will all be tested in various ways. In these tests, not only will your abilities be evaluated, but your friendships and love shall also be tested. You will have to endure hardships. Should you fail, which I give my complete faith that none of you will, you will lose your powers, only to be tested again until you prove your worth. I offer you this advice: believe. Whatever you believe in, that is what controls all. Belief is the key to everything. And united, your belief will be stronger than even you, my Chosen One. "I will always be with you. The crystals you have are your power sources, my gift to you. But it is up to you all to develop your powers. "My Chosen One, I call you forward." The angel stepped forward. "You are to be called Serenity, because your light shall always shine and bring peace to the battles you face." With this, the pillar gave Serenity a spark of light, which entered her eyes and shone through her soul. "This light will forever mark you as my child. Use it to heal those who are in need. This shall also identify you to the others, uniting them in each life through you. Your powers of the eternal Moon, a guide in the night sky." Serenity nodded, a gentle smile playing on her lips. She turned to her Soulmate, next to her. "Your Soulmate, Endymion. His powers are mixed, of the prosperous Earth and glowing Sun. Serenity, shine your light on him so he may begin his quest for power." Serenity stared at him, as he watched her. She looked into his eyes, and found the other half of her soul. Without taking her eyes away from his, she walked up and touched her index finger to the center of his forehead. His aura swirled, and in his hand was a deep red rose. "The powers of the Rose. One of the most powerful weapons each of us shall receive. But to you, you shall have them first and foremost." Breaking away, she hesitantly turned to the Fate. "Your Fate, Destinia. Her powers lie in that of Destiny, and she shall be bound to ensure everyone completes theirs," said the pillar. Serenity held out her hand, and in it appeared a double-edged sword. The handle was pink, and a held various symbols and intricate designs surrounded jewels. She handed it to Destinia, with the words, "A double-edge sword for destiny and fate, conspiring together to create and destroy." The first of the Guardians approached, the one with dark blonde hair and green eyes. "Your first Guardian, Angel*. He draws his powers from the heart of people." Serenity's hand began to glow, as she placed her finger above his heart. "The ability to ease heart ache, and to heal. You will know what the heart desires and will be able to guide it to its goal." "Your second Guardian, Marcus. He draws his powers from the eternal mind." The second was the brownish-blonde with similar blue eyes. Serenity's glowing hand was placed upon the top of the now kneeling man's head. "The ability to understand what one thinks, and to exchange knowledge. You shall be able to ease and comfort the mind, and will clear the mind in times of chaos." "Your third Guardian, Witt. He draws his powers from the soul and Destiny." The last one, with brown hair and eyes. She placed her hand on his right shoulder. "The ability to show what one is destined to do, ending strife in one's soul and unburdening their spirit for freedom. You shall heal broken spirits, and rebuild destinies in others." Serenity now stood before the four women. The first, with gold and scarlet hair, walked forward. "Your first Archangel, Gabrielle. She holds the powers of Galaxia. She bears the marks of Venus and Pluto." Serenity gave looked the older girl in the eyes. Together, their crystals glowed, their respective auras and colors mixing together in playful flashes and streaks. Gabrielle flashed, and revealed a heart chain of pearls winked around her waist as well as a flashing pearl staff, in the shape of a giant key. Serenity had also flashed, and had the same weapons, only they were made of ivory. With a nod, Serenity's weapons disappeared, and Gabrielle stepped aside for the next person. The girl with hair of scarlet and eyes of ice was next. "Your second Archangel, Katarina. She holds the powers of Star, and bears the marks of Mercury and Neptune." Serenity's repeated with Katarina what had happened with Gabrielle, only instead of a chain and key appearing, a harp of silver, as well as a sparkly silver mirror appeared in Katarina's hands. Serenity's was likewise made of ivory. Another nod, and the mirror and harp disappeared, and the next girl moved forward. "Your third Archangel, Beryllian. She holds the powers of Earth, and bears the marks of Jupiter and Uranus." The girl of bronze stood before Serenity. was the girl's observation. Repeating her actions brought bronze tiara with a small lightening rod on the top, as well as a bronze saber to the Archangel, and ivory versions to Serenity. A small nod was made and the last of the Archangels appeared. The youngest with the hair of fire. "Your fourth Archangel, Mahira. She holds the powers of the Sun, and bears the marks of Mars and Saturn." Mahira received a golden bow and arrows of a liquid gold fire, as well as a golden glaive. Serenity's ivory weapons were stored and she now turned to the Sailors and Generals. "The first Outer Sailor, Sibillia, of Pluto. The first General of the eternal Moon, William." Gabrielle and Marcus suddenly appeared on either side of her. Taking hold of their hands, their crystals each flashed with the General and Sailor before them. Sibillia was given a garnet time key, and William received a magenta large wolf upon the shirt of his uniform. "Your Time Key shall control your post, the Gates of Time. Your wolf shall be your attack- by calling on it, you shall find your most powerful form." "The second Outer Sailor, Marina, of Neptune. The second General of the eternal Moon, Dylan." Katarina traded places with Gabrielle. Marina received the mirror, while Dylan received the sign of the shark. Beryllian stepped up for Katarina's place before the next couple was announced. "The third Outer Sailor, Honor, of Uranus. The third General of the eternal Moon, Adler." Honor received the saber, and to Adler was given the sign of the hawk. "The fourth Outer Sailor, Hope, of Saturn. The fourth General of the eternal Moon, Caleb." Mahira took Beryllian's place. The Glaive was bestowed upon Hope, and Caleb sported the sign of the lion. "The first of the Inner Sailors, Levina, of Jupiter. The first of the Earth Generals, Nephrite." Now Marcus and Mahira both left. In Mahira's place, Beryllian once again stood, and in Marcus' place, now stood Endymion. Serenity increased her concentration, suppressing her curiosity of the new feelings she felt when her other half stood near her. Together, they held hands, allowing their crystals to flash and offer the specialized tiara as well as the power of nephrite. "The second of the Inner Sailors, Raine, and the second of the Sun Generals, Jadeite." Serenity was dying to turn around and ask why the second of the Sun stood before her and not the first. Of course, she wanted to say this staring into Endymion's eyes also. She thought she heard a faint chuckle come from her Soulmate, which brought her back to reality. She pushed herself back to the matter at hand with the reappearance of Mahira, and managed to give Raine a copy of the fire arrows and bow, and to Jadeite the power of the stone, jadeite. "The third of the Inner Sailors, Margaret, of Venus. The third of the Earth Generals, Kunzite." Gabrielle came forward. Margaret was given the chain, and to Kunzite, the powers of Kunzite. "The fourth of the Inners Sailors, Amelia, of Mercury. The fourth of the Sun Generals, Zoicite." Katarina finished up, giving Amelia the harp and from Endymion to Zoicite, the powers of Zoicite. "And finally, the Defenders." Endymion lingered, then stepped away, replaced by Gabrielle. The six of them held out their right hands, palms down and stacked, with Serenity's on the top. They each began to glow, and the power of Light entered the three Defenders. The first to pull back had black hair and blue eyes. "The first Defender, Seth, of Starfighter." The next to come out of the circle had reddish-brown hair and eyes. "The second Defender, Timothy, of Starmaker." The last was one with silvery white hair and cat-like green eyes. "The third Defender, Yavin, of Starhealer." Serenity felt tired. She had finally pulled her hand away to stop the energy transfer, but the numerous transfers had taken their toll on her. The pillar seemed to sense this. "Now my children, you shall relax. You shall begin your new lives tomorrow. And I'm sorry to say, you shall not remember what has taken place or any of the knowledge you have already gained. But you will always have your links, and the powers handed down through each other that you have endured today. Good night, my children." Serena watched from her place as everything seemed to swirl in mists. The next few scenes were what she recognized as memories of each lifetime she had lived. Of how she met the others, sometimes not all of them. Of finally meeting Damion, and then dying, only to be pulled away at the last second to be reborn again. Serena closed her eyes, a smile on her face. It was all clear now. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 0}--+------ Heaven, June 11 Serena groaned. Her head felt like a truck had run over it several times. "LOOK! SHE'S AWAKE!" "Umm, Ryl, I don't think your screaming will motivate her to wake up." Serena groaned again in agreement. "Ren, are you all right? Please wake up. We're so worried," came a gentle voice. "Gabs..." Serena whispered. She opened her eyes to see a beaming Gwenyth Verses staring at her, a huge smile on her face. "Yep!" "All of us are here." Marcus told her, rubbing her left hand in an unconscious gesture meant to soothe. "You had us all worried when you wouldn't wake up, 'Sako." Angel was right next to Marcus. Serena lifted her head up, slowing propping herself up on the bed. "What happened?" Serena managed to ask. "Damion." Witt had said this. He was standing, leaning over Destinia. "WITT!" Serena sat up fully, enough to be able to embrace her friend. "I can't believe it!" The familiar brown eyes closed as he rested his head on her shoulder. "Hello beautiful. I couldn't let you live without a splendid dancing partner, now, could I?" Serena finally pulled back, smiling cheerfully. "We have a lot to catch up on." "But now is not the time." Destinia said, putting her hand on Serena shoulder. "Damion entered the portal to the Universe before we could tell you about the past and us. With so much out of control, there have been so major side effects." Serena's head was swimming. "Effects? Such as?" Everyone in the room looked uncomfortable. Ryl broke the silence. "I think you should see for yourself." Serena nodded and began to get out of bed. Steadied by Mahira and Gab, she followed Ryl to the window. Ryl threw back the light silk curtain to reveal a sight. They were in Heaven all right... but just beyond Heaven's boundaries was Crystal Tokyo, and next to that, Tokyo, and next to that, the Moon Kingdom... "How did this happen!?" "For some reason, the Darkness wasn't able to be controlled, and entered Realities 2 and 3. The Kingdoms of the Silver Millennium are of Reality 2, while the Future Kingdoms and Crystal Tokyo are from Reality 3," Angel said, walking up behind Serena. "Andrew, when did this happen?" Serena asked turning around partially to look at Angel, who was now holding hands with Destinia. "The tremors caused it. Kat says the planets couldn't control the Darkness, so they bonded together to become stronger." Serena stared out the window again, whispering "United... unbelievable..." "I was the first to awaken, and managed to shield us before anyone saw Heaven. The next day, everyone except you woke up. It's been a week since then." Destinia spoke up. She morphed her Sailor outfit back to her civilian form as Rita. "A WEEK? You guys are worse than LUNA!" cried Serena. "A week! What's been going on since then?" "Too much, Granddaughter," came a imperial voice from the doorway. The voice was old and rich, but held a gentleness that softened the effect. Serena turned to see an elder couple, with silver and white hair. He had tan skin, deep blue eyes, and was slightly muscular, with his tall frame. The woman had fair skin, and the greenest eyes Serena had ever seen. Her petite body was slightly taller than Serena's height. Serena's brow furrowed for a minute, trying to guess who they were, before the statement the man had said sunk in. Serena's memories went into hyper-drive. A man she had loved for the first few years of her life, the first man in her life for her to love and cherish. A kind woman beside her mother, laughing as Serena clutched a pink bunny, which smelled of the woman's scent- fresh peppermint. "GRANDFATHER?" "It is good to finally see you standing and well. For some Reason, Paradise, California is now a unofficially 'Heaven'." Her grandmother said, her voice calm, but full of emotion. Tears were in her eyes. Serena broke away from her friends and embraced the two. "Oh...my... GOSH!" Everyone was smiling and crying soon, as they all began talking. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ *This is my screw up. I had originally intended Andrew's Character to be called Angel, for a specific reason. When I was writing the first chapter, I threw in the "Guardians" out of desperation for a better name (I have since then learned that a late revision is better than confusing part done on time). When I refer to Guardian Angel, I do NOT mean me. I can't BELIEVE how STUPID I can be sometimes. Again, I'm sorry for this- do not think me arrogant, or egotistical, or self-righteous or whatever. Besides, Guardian Angel is a GUY (Andrew), while I (Guardian Angel ONE) am a female (at least, the last time I checked... yep, still a girl (Dang straight!)). I actually had to split Part six in half, because I was short on time and I really wanted to revamp the latter portion. The next part should be out in a couple weeks, with this nice slow start of the semester. Salut, mes amis! Stuff you MUST read! (I'm completely serious- there is GOOD stuff out there!)
