Draconi Heartfire Lost Love - Part 4 Rei sat on the step of the temple, watching the trees sway and unconsiously, Neflite. Serena sighed beside her. "Man, I wish something would happen. I wish Heartfire would tell us where she went. I am so bored!" She complained and strangely, Rei didn’t get mad. Her depression had still affected her from the story of Heartfire. What heeartbreak, she thought. Suddenly, Serena looked at her watch and yelled. "Ahh! I was supposed to be home an hour ago. Mom’s going to kill me!" She took off down the stairs and onto the sidewalk in a rush of hair and feet. She continued running when she saw someone grabbing their arm, trying desparately to stop the bleeding. His golden hair brushed about his face and Serena immediatly felt that he was cute. Then she noticed the black and silver outfit and remembered the image of Solan. He was bashed about and dirty, limping slightly. She moved forward carefully, helping him brace against the wall. He coughed. "What happened?" She asked. "Connie.....Stoneheart..fight." He gasped in pain. "Where?" She said, looking around. "Blossom Park...forced me to go." he murmured in his warm voice. He began tugging her toward the park desparately. "Come on. We don’t have time. She can’t hold him off forever." His voice was breathy and he began to get strength slowly, but winced. She had no choice and held his arm while he limped toward the park. She could call the scouts on the communicator. Slowly the blossom park appeared, empty because it would be re-grown and shut off while the plants had time to breath and grow. They snuck in through the gate and she immediatly saw Heartfire laying on the ground. She transformed and didn’t notice that the wounds of Solan disappeared and he grinned and that the form of Heartfire stood. She landed on the ground and felt something enscroll her hands. She looked down to see the pale hands of her friend in silver. "Heartfire!" She exclaimed. Hastily, Serena dug out her communicator, which she had only time to press the danger signal before it was knocked out of her hands. "Where is the Crystal, Serena?" Heartfire asked. Serena shook herself wildly. "I will never give it to you, Nega-creep!" She said. Heartfire frowned. "I am no Negamoon lackey. I am only doing something I need to do." She almost pleaded, but Serena didn’t listen. Solan stood behind her and wondered why he felt so familiar to the girl. "Let her go, Heartfire!" Someone said. She looked up to see a black suit and cape. "It’s Tuxedo Mask." Serena swooned. "Stars, I never knew your Derien was Tuxedo Mask. Great." Heartfire said to herself. Draconi released the gloved hands and stepped back as a rose stood in the place where they had been. Three more roses followed, straight toward Solan. "Solan!" She yelled for him to get away, but he wouldn’t move. She leaped on him and winced in pain as the roses sliced her arm and the minor shocks of his touch. They landed on the ground and Solan watched her in amazement. The tactitionist, savior and beautiful woman was so wonderful to him yet he didn’t know why. Draconi stepped up from the ground and watched Derien jump from the tree to the ground in front of Sailor Moon. She made a move toward them. "Don’t move Nega-scum." Someone said and when she turned, the scouts stood in a line. Jupiter was the one that had spoken. Lightning shot forth and Draconi leaped back. It would be a fight then. Rings surrounded her and she winced as one bit through her other arm. Solan was at her side and inspected the wound without touching it. Heartfire closed her eyes in pain and didn’t see the heart-chain fly at her. Without thinking, he pushed Draconi, wincing at the shocks and felt the buzz of the chain hit his arm. He growled slightly. Draconi looked at him in amazement and wonder. She watched Venus closely, angered by her actions but relieved at its effects. Fire rings and lightning flew at them both and she had no time to react and they took its impact. They landed on the ground. Solan moaned and pushed himself up and saw in front of him was the lying body of Draconi. She had leapt slightly to take part of his shot. "Connie......" He reached for her hand and winced at the shock inflicted. Something didn’t want them together. He fell to one knee in weakness and shook her. He willed that the pain surge only through him and not her. Heartfire lifted her head and stared into the loving eyes of Solan. He helped her up and hugged her slightl without actually embracing. She felt wonderful. The scouts gasped. He also knew that the Negamoon would hunt them both down unless they at least returned with the Crystal. A part of his anger was directed also by the damage done to Heartfire. He stepped in fron of her and walked toward Sailor Moon. "Give me that Crystal!" He growled. "Never." Was the answer. He made a fireball in his hand and threw at the loving pair. It blew up, but when he looked up, Tuxedo Mask held her tightly. "Give up!’ Mars yelled. "Yes, you can not win!" Mercury added. "I will fight to the death to get that Crystal." He answered quietly. Malicite, Jedite and Neflite appeared. Solan didn’t care. He would get the Crystal and fund a way to keep Connie. His Love? He shook it off. Something gently held his shoulder, giving him a buzz of pain while she felt a tingle. It was Heartfire. He stopped a moment and simply stared at her in a loving way. "Don’t tell me you’ve also turned triator, Solan." Said a voice from above. He looked up to see Stoneheart. He had a malicious smile on his face and held several lightning balls in his hands. "Heartfire, you will cause no more problems to me or anyone else." He continued but was interupted by a pink -haired girl running from the other end of the park. "Reenie!" Serena yelled, followed by Heartfire. "Die little Princess." He said and threw the lightning globe at her. Heartfire ran fast as quicksilver and stood in front of the ball. "Connie!" Solan yelled. The ball hit her and enscrolled the body, hitting her with lightning strikes. She screamed. "Heartfire!" Reenie cried. Draconi fell to the ground. Her breathing slowed. Solan was parilyzed. "So much the better. The death of a long time traitor. No one survives one of my globes." In his hand was another globe. He raised his hands. "I’ve always hated the way the Negamoon took care of you in such a special way, never minding your mistakes." Draconi opened her weak eyelids. "Always for the fact of causing Heartfire pain and suffering. I had to suffer your ideas and train you to Evil." Draconi stood and pushed Reenie back a bit. "Now I will and this ceaseless annoyence forever, followed by your Sailor friends." "Not yet you don’t." Draconi said weakly. A silver globe in her hands. She was breathing heavily and her outfit was singed and tattered at the edges. Anger burned in her eyes. The globe grew bigger. In a sudden jolt, she released the energy and it flew at Stoneheart. He disappeared. "I will get you Scouts someday." His comment was carried into the trees. Draconi fell. "Solan....." She whispered, feeling the last of her energy draining from her body. He was at her side, kneeling in a second. "Hold me..." She whispered. "But the shocks...." She winced and her eyes drooped. "Are nothing compared to living without you." He reached down and held her shoulders. She sighed. "I am so sorry I didn’t realize I loved you before." He said and knew he was on the verge of tears, but held them back. "It wasn’t your fault. You could do nothing more than to follow orders. You are not to blame." She soothed him with her words and her presence. "I promise, I’ll join you." Her eyes snapped opened and she glared at him. "Don’t you dare, Solan. By the Stars, if you do. I’ll make you regret it and you won’t come back unbruised, I can tell you that. I’ll bring you back as a pig." She smiled weakly. Reenie was at her side. "Reenie. Sweet Reenie. What can I say but to never change? You will grow up to be a fine ruler someday." She patted the smooth hair. "Solan, you must help the Scouts find the Star Princess’ Star Crystal. I’m sorry no for not telling them before as Serenity implyed, but I was ignorent." Sailor Moon and malicite edged closer. "Twelve jewels in all, in shards, make the points meet and the crystal is whole. They are incased in the ground, all around Tokyo. You must find them before the Negamoon does." She gasped as a wave of pain hit her. Solarius popped up by her side. "Ask Solarius and he will tell you all." He watched her. "What of the Princess?" He asked. No answer. She closed her eyes and grabbed his hand warmly. "I love you and I always will. Remember me." Her body grew limp and her breathing stopped. Solan looked at her a moment, then shook her. "Draconi? Connie! No, don’t you dare die now." A moment of silence came of him. Everything became blank. Solan stood and saw the body glimmer away. Reenie cried. He reverted back into a silken shirt and jeans. Turning back the other way, he began walking. Solarius reluctantly followed, his head hanging low and all his joy gone. His color faded to a dull yellow. "Where are you going?" Someone yelled from behind him. "Nowhere!" He answered, the death of his love taking heavily upon his humorous spirit. Sailor Moon ran next to him and Solan ignored her. "Are you staying?" He stopped and frowned. Then he ran a hand through his blonde hair. "Yes, I guess. I have to. I promised." He took a step forward, but stopped again at her restraining hand. He pulled away from it. Glaring at her, he stood and waited for a reason for holding him up. "Stay and talk." She said. "I’d rather not. I am the ‘alone’ kind of guy. Go and stay with your Prince. I’ve lossed my Princess." He said as softly as he could. He walked away. ___________________ I know, I know, I ended it weird, but I need to ask all you Fanfics Fanatics out there something. Give me comments!! Critique!
