Title: Araiia's Return - Chapter 6 Author: Ausaziko Rating: PG E-mail: BijinBunny@aol.com Author's Notes: Am I on? Oh yeah. Any-hoo-hoo-dilly, this is Chapter Six, after all the suspense and cliffhanger-ation I put you through. Hehehehe... eeeeeee-vil. Araiia felt her self-confidence come back as ice cold ribbons surrounded her. Her snow-white bodice appeared, as well as a blue sequined skirt, bow, and boots. Finally, a silver tiara came up on her head with a ocean-blue sapphire in the center. She turned to the balcony and disappeared from the apartment, jumping from roof to roof to the scene of the crime. She stopped on the last roof as she took in what was going on below her. Five girls were taking on one hideous-looking creature at once. 'They're dressed exactly like me! Wait a minute... their skirts have no sequins, and the tiaras are gold... and they are losing BADLY.' There was a cool-looking guy in a tuxedo, cape, and top hat standing behind the girls. It looked like there was nothing he could do either. The girls were bruised and all trying to figure out what to do next. "Alright, puke-face, give it up!" the blue-haired beauty shouted. All attention turned to her. "Not another one of you Sailor Brats," the ugly beast growled. "Oh, a brat, am I?" She leapt down from the roof to right in front of the monster, her hair flying behind her like a banner from the sky. "We'll see about that. I stand for peace and tranquility... in the name of the calm ocean, you're beach sand, you piece of trash. I am Sailor Cerulea!" The five girls gasped at once. "Sailor WHAT?" Tuexdo Mask stood calmly, a million thoughts running through his mind. 'That voice... that hair...' The monster took a deep breath and shot out several red laser beams at Sailor Cerulea. Dodging them easily, she finally lept onto a balcony. "Aw, too slow," Cerulea said in mock pity. "Alright, enough playing around." Cerulea closed her flashing blue eyes and summoned her energy all into her right fist. A ball glowing in a fiery blue shade began to take form in her hand. "I call upon the violent waves raging at the edge of sea... High Tide Conquer!" Ripping waves exploded from her palm and attacked the monster, digging deep into its flesh. The creature disappeared in an instant. "It's not over, Sailor Soldiers!!" were the last words heard. Sailor Cerulea leapt down onto the street below her. "Oh yes," she said triumphantly, blowing on her finger as if it were a gun. "It is." Cerulea turned to face the warriors. "Sorry I didn't show up earlier... who are you guys anyways?" she asked curiously. "I would've asked you the same question," Mars growled, her temperature rising. "Who do you think you are, barging in on our battle like that? You should've just stayed out of it!" "I see your point, Sailor Mars," Sailor Cerulea replied calmly. "But don't you think that if I hadn't showed up, you'd all be dead or close to it?" "She's right," Sailor Venus spoke up. "She saved our butts. We should be thanking her instead of grilling her." Venus smiled warmly at the young blue-haired girl. "Thanks a lot." "No problem, Venus. You know... except for you, Tuxedo Mask, I've been looking for you all for quite some time." "And you are... who?" Sailor Jupiter interjected. "Sailor Cerulea." Sailor Moon rose to her feet. "You know, since this is Soldier business, I think we should handle this at the temple." She glanced at Sailor Mars. "Mars, is that okay with you?" "Yeah, but I don't think we have enough energy to travel down there in this form," Mars replied sneakily, all about trying to get the stranger to detransform. "We could move as an air, if you want," Cerulea suggested. She was on to Sailor Mars' game. Six dumb looks all around - directed at her. She sighed. "Like this." Cerulea closed her eyes and threw her head back, and instantly turned into a cloud of blue mist. Tuxedo Mask and the rest of the Sailor Soldiers stood in awe as Cerulea returned to her natural form. "I? uh?" "First of all," Mars interrupted Venus' babbling, "We need to eliminate all the secrecy between us. Which mea-" "Which means," Cerulea interrupted in turn, "I know who you all are. Sailor Moon?" Sailor Moon's head popped up at the mention of her name. "Hm?" "You're Serena, the girl I met this evening. You're the girlfriend of Darien, also known as Tuxedo Mask," Cerulea set, nodding toward their cape-clad companion. "Sailor Mars, you're a Shinto Priestess, or miko, at the Sendai Hill Temple. Rei, one of Serena's best friends." Sailor Mars was steamed as Cerulea continued. "Mina, Sailor Venus, and Lita, Sailor Jupiter, are also the best friends of Serena, and last but not least, you have my mother. Sailor Mercury." All this time, Mercury had been sitting on the ground, still in the exact same position in which she had been blasted. She couldn't believe what had just come to pass. 'Who is this girl, saying I'm her mother?' she thought, before memories of a beautiful healthy baby flooded her mind. Then her mind's eye saw several images at once. A young toddler jumping up and down, trying to reach a sink. A girl about 6, chasing another black-haired girl and laughing. Lastly, an image of herself, Sailor Mercury, dying, and that same little girl coming to her side, only older. "I remember? "Hold up, wait a minute, stop and rewind. YOU, Sailor Mercury, Ami Mizuno, are THIS brat's MOTHER?" Mars yelled angrily. "Sailor Mars, I understand you're mad, but that's because you're afraid of the unknown? in this case -" she winked - "me." "Can we all just power down PLEASE?" Sailor Mercury finally spoke up. In five flashes of bright light, the group of girls powered down into their better known identities: Serena, Mina, Lita, Ami, and Rei. Tuxedo Mask, with one swoosh of his cape, reappeared as Darien. Cerulea smiled and slowly changed into her normal self. "Hi, Darien," Araiia greeted him. "I was wondering why you left so quickly." Darien was still in shock. 'I should've known,' his mind practically yelled. 'As weird as she is, why didn't I think she could be a Sailor Soldier?' End Notes: So how was that? E-mail me, and tell me how I'm doing. I appreciate flames, the occaisional "I don't get that, what's that supposed to mean?" e-mail... I've been getting a lot of those. Maybe I should post a profile for Araiia separate from this story. Well, I'm going now! Arigato for reading, and neva act your age! Ziko-chan
