Title: Araiia's Return Chapter 8 Author: Ausaziko, your pal from the world of fanfics E-mail: BijinBunny@aol.com And if that doesn't work: Usaziko@hotmail.com Rating: PG Araiia sat in the middle of Lita's living room floor, messing around with the radio. 'Well, you guys, I finally found them,' she thought, trying to communicate with her fellow Sailor Soldiers through her thoughts. *Good? now, why'd you have to RUN half the way from Omiya just to get here?! You could've taken the bus, you know. I'd kinda LIKE for you to have enough energy for me to meet my mother!* Najla yelled at her. *Geez, Naj, could you please be a little more kind?* Denni, Princess Venus, asked sarcastically. *Yeah, Najla. She's traveled a far way by foot... and as an air. Her energy levels are internally low. We've got to respect that - at least that's what we were all taught. Now calm down,* Perja, the Princess of Jupiter, explained calmly. 'Thanks, Denni, Perja... I think I can get you guys here in a few hours. Maybe if I use my waterdrop pendant...' *DUH!* Najla interrupted. *Why didn't we think of that before, you guys? Call in our moms and explain to them.* 'They're coming back in a few seconds - they went to get some delicious food. Lita cooked!' Araiia added, her mouth watering again at the thought of how well Jupiter's royal family line prepared food. "We're baa-aack!" Mina exclaimed, bursting into the door. "Guess whaa-aat," Araiia said in an equally singsong-y voice. "What?" Rei asked, following in behind Mina, Lita close behind. Ami slowly stepped into the room, eager to listen to her daughter's news. "I can transport them now. I just figured out that I can use my waterdrop pendant to get them here. It's the tool I use to transform, and though I don't always need it, I carry it for things like this," she added just in case. "Well, let's wait till Serena gets here first," Lita suggested. "She's gonna want to see this." Araiia nodded in agreement, and as if on cue, the doorbell rang and the girls heard a door open. "Thanks, Darien," Serena's voice whispered, Araiia being the only one who heard it. "She's here," the blue ocean-haired beauty announced. 'Serena, bring Darien in after you finish sucking face with him. The King of the Earth needs to see this,' Araiia said to her through her thoughts. A few moments later, a very shocked Serena and a curious Darien arrived in Lita's living room. "Please... the next time you plan to telepathically communicate with me, *warn* me, maybe?!" Serena spilled over. "Cool the jets, your majesty. Now... hey, where's Rini?" "In the future," Ami replied. "Oh, no..." Araiia mumbled. "You guys, we've got to get her here." "Why?" "I can transport them here, but since it's more than one person, I need to split the energy force with Rini," Araiia explained. "What with her being the Moon Princess and all. She's the only one who has enough energy to do it with me." "And..." Luna, who had mysteriously followed Serena into the house, continued. "...if you do it alone?" "My waterdrop pendant breaks and I die." Araiia gave a simple expression. The room went silent. "So you're saying... that Silver Crystal is to Serena as waterdrop pendant is to Araiia..." Ami trailed, putting the pieces of her daughter's explanation together. "Your life force is inside that pendant?!" Rei exclaimed. "Yup, yup," Araiia replied. "The other planetary princesses, including the outers, have special pieces that hold their life forces. Actually, the outer Soldiers of my generation aren't even allowed to touch theirs, let alone use it unless absolutely necessary." "Wow..." Serena breathed. Then she recognized something familiar in Araiia's explanation. "Darien, remember when we were battling Fiore? And I healed him... but the Silver Crystal broke in the process?" Darien flinched and nodded. Araiia glanced her way. "Serena, I know you wanted everyone to be happy and for them never to be alone, but the reason that we almost lost you, our queen, is because... you called for too much power." Araiia held her gaze. "But you don't understand," Rei interrupted. "That asteroid could have burned us all!" "Ah, but Rei, fiery queen of Mars, right after Fiore disappeared, the asteroid's course changed again. You would've survived, and you could have had enough energy to teleport back to Earth," Araiia replied, winking. "So without further chitchat, I'm calling Rini right now." Ending Notes: Araiia is so mature for 12. It's amazing. So can anyone tell me how old she would be in Moon years? I've been trying to remember how the authors would say how old someone is in Moon years. If anyone could tell me, I'd really appreciate it. Arigato for reading, and neva act your age! Ziko-chan
