Okay, here we go - part 4. Sorry this is taking so long to do, I keep getting side tracked!! But here it is! I'll do my best to keep it good :) Same disclaimer, I only wish I could claim Sailormoon :P I'd have more neat stuff... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Dark Lust, Part 4 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ His last orders to her had been to stay next to Sailor Moon. How fitting, Nebil thought to herself. He uses our daughter to heal this.. this child, and has me stay here to greet her when she awakens? Nebil slammed her fist into the wall. "Who the hell does he think he is?! How can I not be enough for him? I've always been there! ALways!! Never once have I left his side since..." She shook her head. "He's different now. I wish I understood..." Nebil sighed.. she looked over at Serena. "And what about you, hm? Why are you here anyway.." What was so important about the girl? Despite all the years she'd been by Erebus' side... he'd never mentioned this girl. Why the sudden interest? Or was it sudden? Had it always been there? She had much to ask him. But would he even care to answer? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Serena was drifting... it was a different drifting now, than before. The space around her felt so alive - but where was she? She wished she could stay in this place forever... then it hit her. Darien - the senshi - the battle. Had she lost? Worry plagued her mind. Am I dead? Oh god... did I die? What will they do now? Will they stay captured? And what of Darien?! Does he know? Has he even found them?.. not yet. How long had she been here...floating like this. Her heart was filled with sorrow, to never be able to save her friends - to love Darien... ~*~ Serena sat up in a bolt. She blinked a few times trying to adjust herself to the light in the strange room. 'I'm alive?' she thought to herself. Tears sprang from her eyes, she was alive!! She looked down at her hands and quickly pinched her leg, pain - she WAS alive! Now she could save them! She was overjoyed, for a very brief moment. She heard a voice echo from within the room... "So. You're awake. I guess I should say, 'Welcome back', but pardon me for not really caring." Nebil said simply. Serena started to stand up but was brought back to where she was sitting by a strong dizzy spell. "Oh, yes. You may just want to stay where you are, I hear after a healing your body needs time to adjust." "Why am I here?" Serena mumbled, her fear was rising - she couldn't fight right now, not in this condition - if there was to be another fight, she may as well have already been dead. Her brooch!! Serena looked frantically around her, where was her brooch? She didn't even see her clothes now..she was sitting in a thin robe. She saw Nebil rising and coming towards her. Nebil laughed, "Don't look so scared, I'm not going to bite.. again" She walked calmly towards Serena, "And I don't know why you're here. I just do what I'm told to do." Nebil reached out to take a closer inspection of Serena's side, but Serena quickly batted Nebils hand away. Nebil narrowed her eyes and slapped Serena across the face. "Don't you ever do that again. Master or no - I WILL make you reget it. Now turn on your other side, I have to be sure the wound is fixed." Serena held a hand over her red cheek and slowly turned onto her side. Nebil moved her hands over where the wound once was. She was surprisingly gentle. There was little more than a bruise where the large gash had once been. Nebil couldn't help but be pleased, her daughter had such a wonderful gift... Nebil shook the thought from her daughter to the girl sitting on the bed in front of her. "You look patched up alright. How are you feeling." Serena remained silenced. Nebil glanced at the girl, "I asked you a question Sailor Moon." Serena whimpered, "I-I feel fine, thank you." Nebil laughed again, "Why so polite? You are an odd girl. I will go fetch the Master, for some strange reason, he can't wait to see you." Serena looked at Nebil confused, "Who? Who is your Master?" Nebil glanced over her shoulder,"Erebus, is my... master. Don't try going anywhere, everyone knows you're here. And I won't be as nice next time." Serena nodded slowly as she watched Nebil exit through two large doors. "Erebus? Who is that?! Why would he want me here? I need to get out of here.. where is Darien? Ugh..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Darien stood in front of the mirror like a statue, a cold glare fixed on his face. "Oh now now ... what kind of look is that to greet and old friend Prince Darien?" Erebus laughed. He walked calmly closer to the screen so he could get a good look at Darien. "You were NEVER a friend Erebus. What have you done?" Darien spoke as calmly as he could manage. His fists were balled so tightly at his sides that his knuckles were bright white. "Hm. You know, she really is a jewel, you out did yourself finding me a new bride.. I must comend you on that. But I just wanted to let you know, I'll take EXTRA good care of her for you" Darien's heart froze, new bride? Not Serena... He moved closer to the mirror, "What do you WANT Erebus? She has nothing to do with us! Let her go - let them ALL go! This is between you and me!" Erebus shook his head, "Oh no. This is not between you and I anymore, you crushed me Darien. You crushed everything I had. And SHE ... she crushed Beryl. It'd only be fitting that she be mine now. It's only fair. This is all YOUR fault Darien. Now, after all this time you WILL regret what you did to me.." Erebus growled the memories entering his mind and rising his anger with every passing second. "What are you TALKING about? That wasn't me up there - that was Beryl's control, I had nothing to do with it! And Serena certainly has nothing to do with this! I'm sorry for whatever I did - really, I wasn't myself at all - but please do not take this out on Serena or the scouts." Darien searched through his mind, desperatly trying to remember what he had done while under Beryl's control so long ago... what had he done to Erebus to make him this angry?? 'Damnit why can't I remember?!' Erebus' eyes narrowed further - he didn't even REMEMBER?! He didn't even slightly recall all that he had done? No. He would not disgrace you this way... he's trying to fool you Erebus! No. He doesn't deserve happiness, he took yours and now you're just taking it back. "You destroyed everything I had when you betrayed Beryl. EVERYTHING. My home, my life. And when you worked for Beryl? You don't remember the way you treated me? I hate you. But it would be far too simple for you, if I just killed you.. no.. you have to feel how I felt. You have to experience true pain. Everything you did - oh you'll pay for it Darien. You will - you are! You'll never touch her again." This brought a grin to Erebus' face. He'd finally done it. He gotten back at the man he'd been longing to get revenge with for all this time... Darien clentched his teeth tightly together. He would see her again. This was not over. "We will meet again Erebus, I just hope you're prepaired." Erebus raised a brow, "You think so Darien? I've changed quite a bit since the last time we saw eachother. Perhaps you should be sure YOU are prepaired, if you ever find us." Just then a woman entered the room behind Erebus and spoke calmly. "The girl has awakened, Master." Erebus' grin grew wider. "Ah, thank you Nebil, I will be there in just one moment." She nodded and glanced at the screen with a sly grin, then quickly turned and left the room. "Fabulous, my princess is waiting for me. I hope you don't mind me cutting our converstation short..." Darien growled, "You touch her, and I'll kill you Erebus. Don't you DARE touch her." Erebus laughed, "What, are you going to climb through your mirror and get me? Hahahahah, good bye Darien, I'll say hello to Serena for you" The mirror returned to Darien's reflection, the connection was closed. Darien nodded to himself, "That's EXACTLY what I'm going to do." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Serena looked about the room curiously. She carefully tried to get to her feet again but was put back in her place by another dizzy spell. What had happened to her? This place was strange. The walls weren't made of the normal materials she'd ever seen walls made up of before. They looked almost like vines..except they were a deep blue color. There was a large window directly across the room from her, beyond Serena could just see the tops of a few buildings, and above it a black sky with no stars. 'How could there be no stars here?' She thought to herself. 'It must be cold out there... is that were my friends are? Or are they here? I need to find them..' With that she forced herself to her feet and fought the dizzy urge to sit back down. She took five steps towards the door before the room began spinning so badly she couldn't even tell which way she was going. She collapsed to the ground right in front of the door, just as it was opening. She heard a deep voice speak out in surprise, "Coming to greet me already Princess? How very thoughtful!" Serena looked up at the man standing above her - he was tall, good looking. His eyes were threatening, the way he looked at her gave her the creeps. She had to get out of there... Erebus leaned down to pull Serena up, but she quickly crawled back away from him. He laughed loudly, placing both of his hands on his hips. Serena pulled herself carefully to a stand... the dizziness was wearing off. "Who are you? Why did you bring me here!" Her blue eye's narrowed sternly. Erebus walked toward her, "Serena, darling, you will be the perfect bride.." "WHAT?!!" Serena's eyes widened, "Like EVEN! Release me at once! Let all of us go! NOW!" Erebus couldn't help but laugh again, "Send you home? Haha.. please don't be so irrational. You aren't going anywhere...you'll be here for a very long time my dear." He leaned in close to her face, his breath warm on her cheek, "We'll have a wonderful life together Princess." Serena shook her head and pushed him back as hard as she could, though caught offguard, it didn't carry him very far. She began running (as best she could) towards the open doorway when a strong arm grasped around her wrist, squeezing tight enough to make her cry out in pain. Serena quickly spun around bringing her hand across Erebus' face hard. Erebus narrowed his eyes, he was surprised, but he didn't release her wrist. He pulled her over to him and held down her other arm. "Oh.. my princess. You'll learn how to obey me soon enough." He pulled her over to the door way with him and slammed the door shut. Serena tried desperately to pry his hand from her wrist, but it only resulted in aharsh slap across the face from Erebus. Tears were streaming down her face now, "What do you WANT from me? I don't even know you!" She sobbed. This made him grin again, "I already told you...you're as good as mine, Serena." "NO!" She yelled back, "I love Darien - you'll never be anything to me!" Erebus growled and slapped her again, "You are NEVER to say that name in my presence ever again! He is NOTHING to you now, NOTHING." Serena wimpered as he roughly put a hand around her neck and backed her up against the wall, his eyes moving over her slim figure. He leaned in and gently licked away the thin trail of blood from the corner of Serena's mouth. Serena gasped and struggled to her last ounce of energy, but it got her no where. Erebus snickered as he tossed her onto the bed, "If you expect me to spare your friends, you will learn to accept what I want. You will learn soon enough, my princess.." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lita grumbled. "Where IS she?" She hissed. "We can't pull this off without her!" Rai put a hand on Lita's shoulder, "We have to be patient.. Don't get me wrong, I want outta here just as much as you do - but the plan will be no good at all if we can't consentrate." Lita sighed, "I suppose you're right. Dammit, we can't even protect Serena from here. What if she's hurt? Grr.. we need to get out. Man I can't wait... I just wish I knew what was going on outside these walls. We haven't even so much as heard from Serena or Darien yet.." Rai kicked loose rock across the stone floor and took a seat on one of the not so cozy cott's provided for the prisoners. "Hey Lita? Do you think we'll be able to find our way home once we're out of here?" Lita nodded. "Ami said once we were out of these weird stone walls, we'll be able to transform! Then she can use her computer thing to find our way out. We'll be fine once we're out. And I sure hope we run into that guy Erebus too! Oh they'll get it good..." Rai nodded slowly. "I wish I knew why we were here at all." Mina said from her place near the open barred windows dividing the two cells. "I mean.. this guy didn't want to take over the world.. we weren't interferring in anything that we know of that was his land or ... well what IS his reason? Why are we here? I just.. really wish I knew. Because I don't understand this at all." Ami nodded next to her now, "It isn't very logical is it? But, perhaps we can have all of our questions answered once we get out." Rai nodded, "You can count on tha-" her sentence cut short when a scream echoed throughout the lair, Rai heald her breath, her eyes wide, "..that.. that sounded like.." Lita finished the sentence for her, with a horrified look on her face, "Serena!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nebil almost laughed as the scream echoed through the walkway she was wandering down. Yes, he was interested in that girl now, but in a month? She wouldn't mean a thing. Only she, Nebil, would be good enough. She was very confident in this reality. Not a doubt in her mind. Then, she would be able to kill Sailor Moon, who wouldn't mean thing to him once he realizes that their world would never accept the murderer of their old leader as their new one. That's rediculous. How could her love even begin to think something like that would work? Since he began rebuilding things - people got used to HER being around. After they had their daughter, people expected her to rule beside him once everything was finished. But now? This? HER? Hardly. Nebil glanced into her sleeping daughters room as she passed by. Good, all that noise Serena was making hadn't woken up her little sleeping angel. Nebil paused for a moment. How she loved Xandria - she and Erebus were all Nebil lived for these days. Even if Erebus was temporarily blind... she still had Xandria. And when he came around in a little while - the three of them would be together again. Forever. She'd be sure of that. Until then.. she'd just have to work on being the best she can be.. make his see how much better she is for him than Serena. Nebil smiled to herself. She knew she just needed to be patient. Things would be back to normal in not time at all. Nebil leaned down and kissed her daughter on the forehead, then left the sunny room, returning to the dark hallway. Nebil rounded the corner and saw the large door leading to the room where the Sailor Scouts were being held. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Darien paced back and forth, the same way he'd been doing it all day. Luna and Artemis watched him worriedly, their concerns growing deeper for all the senshi, and now the princess...what were they going to do? The computer needed to be fixed, but with all of Dariens schooling - he still couldn't repair the computer.. only Ami could do that and she wasn't here anymore. Luna choked on a sob, Artemis frowned deeper and gently put his paw over her shoulder, "It'll be okay Luna.. you'll see. We'll get them back, all of them... you'll see.." Darien stopped and looked at Artemis, his brow arched into an angry V shape. "And how do you know that Artemis?" Darien asked loudly, "what if we never get any of them back? What if she isn't returned to us? What if NONE of them EVER come back?!" Luna let out another sob, and Artemis glared up at Darien, "Damnit, what do you expect US to do. We need your help too yanno - and it doesn't help with you being so negative - I love them JUST as much as you do - you need to calm down - or we'll never solve this thing!" Darien was taken aback by Artemis' little speech. He was right... it was no good for him to brew here and be angry. No.. he had to do something, figure something out. Get her back.. get them ALL back. But how? A noise sounded from the mirror on Dariens dresser, drawing everyone's attention immediately. Now the mirror blanked out, and the blackness was replaced before the three surprised friends, with the small, yet familiar figure they could never mistake for anyone else.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THEENDOFCHAPTER4!!
